The fact that the 10% discount you can get when you reach LSCM level 120 or win in the lucky wheel at the Diamond Casino is available only about 50 minutes is beyond ridiculous. I would understand if the 50% discount would be available only for about 50 minutes because such discount actually makes a noticeable difference when one is buying a car which costs more than 1 000 000$ while 10% discount is only good for someone who wants to buy one of those cheap cars.

I wish they didn't force you to do that industrial plant survival at level 15. I don't care for the survivals, and I don't care for being interrupted from whatever I'm doing. Not even going into a solo session bypasses it like Gerald's deathmatch earlier on.

 

And, no. Blowing myself up at the beginning of the survival isn't good enough. I shouldn't have to start it up at all.

Its been 3 weeks and 8 R* support tickets since my permaban that's 200% sure related to some ruski f*ckface accessing (and cheating on) my account, so i pretty much have given up completely, in the last ticket i had i ended up lashing out and telling R* support they are f*cking incompetent, mentioned that they didn't used to be this sh*t but now i finally understand why they have the bad name..  That ticket remained unanswered for a few days and i was (obviously) fully expecting it to be closed, but color me f*cking surprised, today i look at my emails and there's one from R* support, they replied to that last ticket again & suddenly appear to actually be investigating..?! what even???

So i spend 2 weeks being friendly and all "can you please not give a canned response and actually look at the details i provide" and every ticket gets a canned response & is closed, so i finally give up, tell them they f*cking suck and then suddenly they start doing actual support work? what is this backwards sh*t?

Honestly im not even getting my hopes up, they just asked me for the same details that i've already provided several times now, i really doubt asking Steam Support for these details again is somehow going to produce even more conclusive evidence?

The strippers at the Vanilla Unicorn in the 'Recover Valuables' security contract are so f*cking annoying. They constantly get in your way when you're trying to take out the enemies, blocking your path and making you knock them out.

I'm annoyed (again) that you can't play the Auto Shop missions with any car. I wanted to play around with my new cars but was rudely reminded that you can only pick Tuners and the new S2 Cabrio isn't a Tuner. (Yes I know you can go into your garages to pick a different car, but that's besides the point.)

 

Speaking of wanting to use your new cars, what is it with R* and making you use mission vehicles? Even in the new VIP missions. Half of the setups and "finale" missions force you to drive a specific car. Why can't Vernon get into my car?!

Here's what's wild to me: cheaters can no longer get you banned, the exploit that f*cked with the system that way was patched like 2 years ago now. So there are three possibilities:

 

- Some genius hacker came up with a new method of getting people banned. Unlikely, they use the same sh*tty mod menus.

- You got your account stolen... but then how did you even get it back without support?

- You're lying and actually cheated but you're thinking that since RS has a tendency to look at this forum you might get noticed.

- Nowhere near genius, but most certainly a more crafty cheater compared most, this was an actual 'hacker' (as in the actual meaning of the word)

- Someone 'stole' access to my Steam account, but without having the required access to change its password, email, etc. Got the account back by changing pwd (invalidating any logins and 2FA tokens)

- I know you're just mentioning it and i'm sure there are people dumb enough to try this, but no, dont 'go there', i have confirmation from Steam & somebody internally at Valve

 

Long story short, 5 years of antagonizing russians when/after i recorded video evidence finally bit me in the ass, trough social engineering (trough a gta:o friend who it turned out has met this same faith) i was convinced to sign in to a website with Steam authentication, this sign in includes a 2FA step, this token was then used to sign into my Steam account (from russia) many times over between 12 and 20 dec (20th is when i was warned and 'took back' my Steam account) and while the Steam account has like 300 bucks worth of items, good standing with VAC, an unhealthy amount of games, etc, nothing was actually done with the Steam account itself, instead i got a illogical permaban from GTA:O on the 15th. Meaning the only logical conclusion i can draw is that somebody was literally doing this to get me banned from GTA:O

The R* account linked to my Steam account actually does not have 2FA enabled, so that's how it was even possible for them to have played on my R* account, they were already in my Steam account, with that (and the way things were set up) there's nothing stopping the guy from launching GTA and automatically logging in to my actual R* account and appearing to be a fully legit 'me'. On the 19th this person most likely confirmed that they were successful and then they decided to continue, they started a basic chat bot to try steal accounts from other people on my Steam friend list, thankfully they did this with a bot (unlike in my case) and it was rather obvious, so that's how a friend of mine went "hold up" and then contacted me trough other means to warn me, he succeeded the next day.

This resulted in me changing pwd and contacting Steam/Valve and getting some extra details and being shown where i find recent logins, wich made it even more obvious what has happened. While Steam cant tell me what games were launched in that period the whole thing just amounts too "only logical explanation is.." The cherry on top is that while im fighting this uphill battle since the 20th, i see incoming friend requests from random russians on my R* account since then (while im obviously not playing myself) so the guy is currently using my nickname/R*-id to hide his own...

I've supplied R* with evidence of the whole ordeal several times over, this evidence includes Steam support confirming all of this and a excerpt of the Steam accounts 'Recent Login History' showing 20+ logins from russia 'surrounding' the date of the ban, so pretty much 110% clear evidence, yet this evidence is what they've ignored for 7 tickets and now are somehow asking for again (when its already attached to the ticket but im being told its not?..) on the 8th ticket.

While i certainly have part of the blame here for falling for some social engineering attack, this is just not acceptable, in the ticket where i eventually lost my composure i mentioned "so what if somebody steals your car and runs somebody over with it, would you expect to lose your drivers license over that?" and thats exactly how i feel about the whole situation, sure im a moron for enabling this person to do what they wanted to do, but at the same time R* sucks for not even bothering to read my ticket the first 7 times, no red flashing lights on their end when an account is suddenly used from across the world, no red flashing lights on their end when somebody is apparently playing on a banned account, etc etc.

How do you lose a door in this particular mission? You get in, drive, destroy stupid NPCs, scan some sh*t. There's no point at which you get out of the car after you get into it. Anyway, I blew this guy up with the Grenade Launcher after for good measures, cause the host left. Jesus wept.

Oh I agree it's impressively bad but iirc it's the drivers door so I guess they reversed enthusiastically. You can always rely on randoms to find that edge case in rockstar 'logic'

On the other hand being largely unprotected is the worst thing about GTAO and if you have a game like that then the only way to combat cheating somewhat is to ban everyone and everything that seems fishy so in that sense what RS is doing is also understandable. Sure, the PC version is borderline unplayable because of all the modding but I believe that without them banning half the playerbase it would actually be unplayable. In conclusion noboy can win though so I still think that the best solution to playing GTAO is just NOT playing GTAO so they are actually doing you a favor here.

I could be wrong but I think in the mission the Stromberg gets destroyed after a while when you entered the water without changing to submersible mode. At least that's what a friend said why his got destroyed.

Ive been closing in on my $100m target. Got to about $400 short but was getting tired, no problem Ill do it tomorrow. Kill a few NPCs, and bank the cash. Then I realise Im at 100,100,000. Where did that £100k come from I kept asking. Then it hit me.
