I swear, why am I ALWAYS on Lookout in Series A Weed or Gunner in Humane Finale?!

 

It's ridiculous! At least my fellow lookout has the sense to just drive the stupid Technical while I ride along in my superior Toreador, the Technical sucks ass and I'd rather just get the setup done before all that driving time goes to waste cause somebody decides to quit!

I wish I could flipping expand my arcade darn it, it's just to small. I would like to fit more games into....

Would also like a air hockey game and a pool table but it would probably just go to waste like tennis in this game.

I want bowling... yeah i said it, after ~12 years the trauma has faded away, where is roman and why isn't he running a bowling alley in GTA:O?

At this point (years of lester etc calls) im trained at hanging up unwanted phonecalls in 0.1 second anyway, so roman could even be his usual spammy self.

Yup, something like Yakuza were you could play with an npc or by yourself in pool would be sweet but since it's R* they would find a way to flip it up lol.

Yes, I'm on PC.  After countless moments where I dealt with cheaters, finally, a decent random player showed up and helped me, but thank you anyway!

Just closed the game quickly as I was ashamed with myself, usually I do this flawlessly

It still bothers me to this day that the executive garage lighting is perfect in the first floor, reasonable in the second and absolutely awful in the third. 

This was made probably to save frames but my god, i would rather have 10 fps in the garage if the whole lighting was the first floor level.

I love the houses in the hills but I don't get why you'd host a heist there, the hills add so much more travel time and inconvenience. More so if you're delivering something to it

Absolutely **** the explosive resistance of these RC toys in freemode. Stupid bandito should blow up with a well placed shot from a pistol! And that damn tank shouldn't be more than two rockets.

Lol yesterday it took me 4 khanjali shots to blow the RC tank, it got destroyed in the 5th. That thing is so annoying.

I like the RC vehicles just the way they are, especially when used against dumb cheaters:

Only thing is see problematic that a player is 100% safe when using this and that they can be used almost without any limits. They would not be as big as a problem if they worked like the nanodrone or you can only steer them from the arcade. But just warping away bc you gonna drive an rc is bullsh*t.

Its just an other cheap tactic to safe yourself and get a ceap/ anoying kill on sameone.

I mean i dont minde it if ppl use it to be safe from a griefer that's great, but there are many ppl that just abuse this feature.

i sometimes use it when a tryhard uses ghost org.

 

let them pay 12k for a time limit to gain an advantage only to piss them off by going in a RC lol. 

 

also usefull to "counter" orbs. orbing the RC does not give them the kill. especially usefull if you have both the bandito and tank. sure they get refunded the shots but still funny to see an orbital fail. 

 

note i only use them against tryhards. no innocents.

100% understandable and i do the same. But im mentioning the players that will only sit in the rc even if their opponents doesnt use any stuff that gives them a advantage (mostly bc they just cant compete without the rc)

Just a thing that ruins pvp for me too. Sure its good to counter some stuff but the thing that this can counter are even more ridiculous then the rc itself (cough ORB*)

The problem is that noobies are using them to get cheap kills. They go on their opressor to attack you for no reason, when you destroy the oppressor they run away and hide in the RC. If you destroy the RC they run away again untill the cooldown for the RC or for the Opressor ends. It is this cycle of oppressor, RC car, RC Tank, Opressor again that is frustrating the most to me.

That's exactly the reaction they're looking for though in their sad attention starved little worlds. Just treat them with the contempt they deserve and ignore them, that will annoy them more than anything you do to try and get a kill back on them.

Had similar experiences yesterday.

 

Human Raid - Key Codes. Host was like 98. Other guy was similar-ish. Then there was me at 595 and a noob at 3. So he puts me on Lookout and the noob as Bodyguard. Obvious fail and 'other guy' quits. I rejoin and it's Host, noob now at level 5 and someone new with a higher level. Thankfully host switched me to Bodyguard and noob to my Lookout spot. Smooth sailing minus the noob somehow dying like two blocks from the drop off. No idea if he jumped out of the speeding vehicle or what, the other lookout was riding with him.

 

Then I tried Series A Weed and was Lookout again. Grabbed the Technical but the other guy climbed in the passenger seat. So I hopped out and took gunner which I don't mind...but the driver insisted on driving far ahead, taking the shortcut down the hill by the bridge, etc. So a Benson blew up since one or two of those road blocks weren't wiped out.

But no, randoms manage to die, destroy the vehicle or RUN OUT OF f*ckING TIME ON THE MISSION???????? f*ckING HELL LIKE MOST OF THE DRIVE IS DOWN A HIGHWAY ANYWAY??? HOW DIFFICULT CAN IT BE TO HOLD DOWN THE ACCELERATOR BUTTON AND DODGE A FEW CARS ON THE WAY?????????????????????????????????????

Never bothered with them before but after reading this thread I bought a bandito yesterday, oh what fun they are when triggering griefers and KD warriors with cheap kills, dunno why it took me so long to give it a try. It's quite nippy too so easy to get around the city quickly to detonate behind a jet griefer who has inevitibly just crashed into a building in a failed dive bomb move. This is my new fun

I had forgotten how awful the Doomsday Heist really is, simply by design. I remember finishing it, on hard, years ago. Just myself and my crew leader. I took the time to do every prep in solo MTU public, just so I could experience the content of the actual heist and then never did it again. Paying your way through the preps was 2 millionish, which was big money back then so I took the time to finish them myself. Now, I have 3 new player friends and we actually had fun last week with the original heists so I figured "Facilities are on sale, it's 2x, the original heists were actually fun with friends, let's do this". Big mistake. Just because of those awful public locked prep missions, it sucks. This DLC even came out before the MK2 and it was bad then, now it's beyond impossible. We have get a solo or quiet public and keep kicking people just to finish the preps first. Then, it's off to a mission lobby from a public, that dumps us in a random public or separate publics after a 10 minute loading or the game locks on a black screen because it's trying to load 4 people into a session of 25ish prompting a hard reset. By this point, I figured it would be better to just pay through the preps in invite only. 2 millionish is nothing these days, it's 1-2 cayos in an hour to an hour and 30 minutes. Then I'm notified that paying through the preps will disable the stat awards, which actually award extra money, so why even bother as a first time player? The lesson to be learned here is that unlike almost everything else in GTAO, even with friends, the Doomsday Heist is just not fun by design and not worth it. I will remember this in the future.

First it was just for "maintainance" but then the official story swiched to restoring services as soon as they can. As if the hackers on PC werent enough, now the whole sh*tshow is down and no communication about what is going on.

its been up for about 20 mins now. Make sure to fully log out of social before launching and you should be able to play
