You only have to look at the joke that Pavel made about shooting down the flying bikes.

They think its a good addition to the game.

If they had any sense of decency and respect towards the community, they'd remove it along with the OC, but they won't.

 

Due to that, I'm questioning whether I want to support a company that actively works against the wishes of the community.

 

Also, before I get any criticisms about "I just use it for grinding and going from point A to B", you're basically saying that anything's permissible as long as you don't think you're harming anyone. f*ck that logic. By that logic, I'm in favour of godmode in freemode. Anyone can use it but I only use it for fighting NPCs so that makes it ok for everyone to use.

Impromptu. I send the invite thru the interaction menu, but after that I either get attacked or ignored.

Btw, the "glitch" being used in question is like one of the top threads on SevenSins fourms. Literally just a bookmarked job and the casino phone. Not joking. You can do this glitch on demand without leaving your current lobby. The glitch takes literally two f*ucking minutes to do if done correctly, and people have those jobs bookmarked for just in case they get "Out Skilled"....literally in this case. Hell old school pre-patch passive popping took more skill to do....at least you had to time that sh*t. 


Seriously they need to just outright remove the "God Mode" flag from the entire codebase, then again that's why they won't patch it. Otherwise R*'s own devs couldn't play their own game innit.

Looks like this Tuner Dlc already begins the phasing out of old gen. Full upgrades for only PS5 and Xbox Series X what is this ? I have Xbox One X It's not a low tier Xbox One. It can probably run that bull DLC the Series X can but I'm being pressured to buy a Series X? Hell no PC Master race of course but I don't have a good rig currently I just use my PC version to mod the game like a sandbox never use online but that launcher's been sh*t, complete sh*t nobody wanted and I mean nobody wanted.

 

The things they do make me want dump this franchise I've done it to many others barely playing any live service games after the crap they're pulling this one is still a drop in drop out game but if they start this gatekeeping content I'm out really. Bah these games aren't worth the pain their making is it? I mean this has been the two months I've been walking away and with the RDR2 update now this tier system I'm almost considering being rid of it when it comes to full fuitation, not that it'll hurt them losing any loyal customer since GTA 1 I'm a grain of sand.

OH BOY I'M BACK AT THIS THREAD!

 

So there i was, in a public lobby after... years? Yeah, that seems right.

 

I just wanted to do a impromptu race to get the LSC shirt. Well, i tried to set up one race but then the game says "N O" because there was a Business Battle going on. I have no f*cking idea why a freemode event blocks you from creating a race, but ah, whatever. 

The event was taking place in Rogers Salvage & Scrap. Grab a crate, delivery to your nightclub, gg. To my surprise, there was another player there and he actually didn't shoot me! We stormed the building together and killed every npc. Alright, not bad, one crate for us both.

 

Then we went there again, BUT OF COURSE, HERE IT COMES THE SMALL PP GANG aka opressor mk2 gang. Holy sh*t, the small pp energy is strong with them. They even activated ghost organization!

Anyway, i told my buddy to sit down and relax because i saw on the minimap another small pp gang², aka the Deluxo griefer gang. The whole area soon became a war between mk2s and deluxos.

And that's why i told my new frind to relax. Those guys were all over the place! Why enter the building when you can just wait those guys to pick them up and die on the streets?

Me and him got 3 crates each while those dummmy "beings" devoid of any "knowledge" got none (not that they need, but you know...).

 

Highlight of all this mess was when a guy in a Deluxo tried to shoot me, but instead he shot the freaking bridge and killed himself. 

 

Event is finally over, everyone left the session and i still didn't get my race.

 

So, to recap what is a public lobby on ps4: framerates so low that i feel i'm watching a slideshow, small pp gang trying to be "funny" and overall lack of intelligence to do any sort of "race".

 

Back to invite only...

But hey, at least i met a nice player who actually wanted to shoot some NPCs just for fun. My guy, if you're reading this, i love you and your dog!

The lag in this f*cking game is unreal. Some players are just stuttering and teleporting all over the damn place. Makes it impossible to engage with these players. Or maybe it's their McDonald's Wi-Fi or they're lag switching.

You would think after all these years and the half baked crap dlcs we have gotten that many would check there hype. This dlc will change noting, fix noting, add even more stupid walls to the game.

They can't even balance the damn thing so we have to be underground or in some flipping building thing cause of jets, flying dick mobiles, and trolls with enough explosives to nuke a small 3rd world country in to next week.

Before the jets and flying dog, people used to B&M about RPGs and stickies and purple Insurgents with lime wheels and sad trombone horns.

 

The key to your statement was when you said "after all these years". Exactly, it's been this way for years so that should tell any observer that this is GTAO, take it or leave it.

 

I personally think they have listened to us and given us a way of enjoying GTAO as drivers for a change, rather than COD rejects, and I am very grateful to them. As for being underground, I think that's awesome, it'll be atmospheric. I just really hope they buff up the exhaust notes same as when you hit a tunnel or stunt tube.

 

If Rockstar gave you the exact GTAO you want, then millions of others would just leave because it wouldn't be what they wanted.

 

Can't we just accept, especially after "all these years" that GTAO is what it is and you either play or don't? After all, if you just want to shoot with guns, then I believe they have also catered for those tastes in something called RDRO.

No R* does not listen to the players cause if they did the boom cannons on jets would have been removed or made something like the B-11s. They would be going after godmode glitches but they don't or are to stupid to fix it.

If you have to make a dlc were a big chunk of it is underground that's not setting a mood, it's telling players that you can't balance the damn game. Players want to street race, show of there rides in parking lots/parking garages or taking slow rides down the street not hiding underground cause the game developers can't balance crap.

If Rockstar actually listened to their playerbase/community then the requests of getting rid of the Ratbike MK2, Godmode Glitches and the Orbital Cannon would be dealt with. 

Let's acknowledge that gtao has become a clusterf*ck of a game and now its more like futuristic warfare crap with all these braindead weaponized vehicles, MK2s, Orbital Cannon, Hydras etc.

As far as I know, the biggest complication in this game is godmode and griefers (especially cargo griefers) and that as a whole is something rockstar need to prioritize and start mending on then eventually fix everything that needs to be fixed else in time for the EE edition.

Also I'm a little hyped for the LST DLC releasing on tuesday but with what @Lupo-Akane mentioned about adding more stupid walls to the game, I highly agree because every time Rockstar have released a update, there has always been further complications when it comes to glitches and stuff.

I'm definitely expecting some f*ck ups from rockstar's end with the novel update.

 

On a side note, I had a tryhard come against me today who was mostly getting cheap kills by sitting and hiding in a AW customised vehicle, most of these players who resort to tactics like hiding in jets, armored vehicles (specifically nightshark), apartments, facilities and trashtalk all kinds of nonsense are just toxic and ruin the game simply because they are not good at ground PVP.

Do you see where I'm getting at? Rockstar is to blame here for even implementing these tactics and placing weaponized vehicles in online for people to access and take advantage of in the first place.

Godmode needs to be patched.

If it was a money glitch, rockstar wouldn't even hesitate and patch the glitch with immediate effect because it disrupts their sales of their pesky smelly fish cards.

You can hide business battles in the interaction menu - this way, you'll be able to set up an impromptu race even when BB is active in the session.

There are Special Cargo and IE missions where you get the same car 3 time in a row at different intersections trying to cut your route.

Either Remove Sniper Dancing from the game entirely, or remove the enti.....Actually f*ck it just remove any and all sniper like weapons completely. Get rid of them. It's a f*cking crutch used by people that can't fight on ground.

What's worse is they didn't even bother using Max Payne 3's aiming controls. Y'know the one modern R* game that had actual up to modern standards free aiming? Seriously that game was on par with some of the latter 3rd Person Ghost Recons, and in some ways actually is still on par with games like The Division (Both 1 and 2). 90% of the general overall combat issues not related to balancing is the f*cking Resident Evil 4 Tank Controls for aiming, and the fact that in some cases you have to actively fight with the camera to do anything....seriously try doing a side strafe attack with a Sparrow, watch as the camera refuses to actually work with you on anything.

Why are there explosive trashes on the ground in Underpass Survival...? Just failed at the end of wave 9 because NPC shooted that and blew us up. I shooted the ground before positionning the destroyed van because I knew it would be a problem. I think the explo trashes respawn on the ground when you get distance from it or something like that...its so vicious.

I mostly sell my NC goods when they are around 600k or 700k but I do sometimes sell when less is accumulated too
