Even if you park all the way to the side of the beach, someone will manage to hit you.

If you are playing as demo, I suggest you stay away from the beach, just in case.

Don't hover around over the water in front of the beach either (remember, if they see you, they will crash into you)

Land it on one of the hills to the side of the beach. If you are standing still, they are less likely to notice you.

Playing new survivals with randoms that are of the "pro" RnG type of players, most high rankers and PvPers but don't get after 3 death they won't finish the survival alive because their sh*t doesn't work...those guys cannot stop rolling in the middle of map at wave 4, 5, 6 and die like idiots with their rebreather and pink joggers. 

 

I found that lvl 30 in yellow combi there who was even better than me at Scrapyard, imagine, he was better at anything than 5 different teams of sh*t RnG tryhards with who I kept failing.

This is happening a lot (again) in the last few days, 99% sure its (as per usual) a 'feature' of some sh*tty menu and not a bug with the game (all the times it happened to me it was obviously done by a cheater i was baiting/fighting)

There's some small silver lining though, in the past we had to leave and reconnect to GTA:O (and before that even restart the game) to get our stuff back, and then it wouldn't return some of the weapons, but now all it takes is switching session and it looks like we do get everything back now, still crappy that this can even be done, but at least its much less of an annoyance now, i kind of wanna consider this another point for the "they appear to be working on something"-list.

On foot, chased by a griefer in a Kanjali I request the Sparrow, it spawns on the other side of the map. Quickly request the RC Bandido and it immediately despawns, leaving completely exposed.

Imagine doing literally nothing but standing still with a sticky bomb beside your feet and detonating it the moment you get shot at, and then proceeding to do this for the next 30 minutes. 

 

Cryhards never cease to amaze me with their braindead mentalities. Like, are you THAT scared of getting killed by another player?

Real talk I can personally confirm that most PvPers are just that. They've never actually done the PvE stuff back in the day. Honestly I'm more of a hybrid player in that I lean more toward PvE stuff but also have craved out a sort of corner all my own in PvP over the years (always amazing getting called a tryhard....despite never once EWOing or abusing OTR/Ghost Org...and often playing cleanly until either someone goes dirty first or outsized odds against me. Basically I'm an old school PvP player from as far back as the V.I.P update days). However most of the players in Survivals typically have no clue what their doing. Often the higher leveled "Free Mode Warriors" will surprisingly make it to about Wave 7 before slowly rage quitting.....forfeiting a massive payday in the process, while ignoring the fact the Level 905 has clutched the round more than once from behind a car (Canals) with an Assault Shotgun. Even better when it's WAVE 9 and they get salty about the A.I one tapping them. Like bruv...they have Combat MGs and Miniguns....da F*ck you think was gonna to happen?

I get this too sometimes. You can kill somebody with a Navy Revolver from your car and get called a "K/D obsessed tryhard" as a result of that. Nowadays, the word "tryhard" gets tossed around like it's nothing. It's kind of lost its meaning. Now you're considered a tryhard for doing anything.

The term "Tryhard" really only applies to the typical GTA ones.....see also the old John Wick Skins from Abortnite (I hate that game's existence) and like wise are the same people that are the much hated ROZE Skins in Warzone/MW2019.


Just fyi, think back to when Forts*ite first launched and really started to pick up steam. Notice how there were far less MKIIs and the like during that time compared to other periods? Now, think about it, There was an uptick in Tryhards returning to GTAO, more MKIIs and the like. Notice how there have been far less of late again? Yeah that ROZE skin that just did super twitchy spaz-attack bulls*it in MW2019/Warzone...or whatever skin they use in Cold War? Yeah.....Guess where they came from. Honestly if you look into just the Warzone community at the moment, let alone the near ENDLESS b*tching about ROZE skins (The Skin itself is cancer as it's hard to see due to the lighting engine. However the general playstyle of people that use that Skin should seem...somehow different yet familiar to GTAO players. Same Sweats/Tryhards, different game) to understand what actual "Tryhards" do to a game. They outright kill any enjoyment to be had. However killing someone with something so off the meta like a Navy Revolver (Which I did during a GTA Race in a drive by no less lmao), is not "tryhard".

I played this one with my crew mates, first person dancing with thermal minigun, we speedrunned the Survival it was mad, problem most players cannot do it(despite they will say minigun is easy, its not, it needs real good reflexes to withdraw). The 3rd person silenced Advanced Rifle from cover is the real sh*t in Scrapyard, you can line up 10 or more headshots from the yellow combi low level spot, and even spam grenades, RPG from cover. I tried using other rifles but they're not that good as Advanced, this gun still shine in 2021.

Man, back in the 2000's when I played CS like a n00b, doing that sh*t would get you laughed off a server. Dunno much how CS is today, though.

Makes me laugh when you just stand in front of them in passive and they can't keep still, constantly dancing back and forth & doing combat rolls. It's like they just can't help themsleves, I wonder if in real life some of them stand at bus stops dancing back and forth & then when bus arrives they combat roll their way to the doors as they open to board.

I really hope some features of the new update are soloable after the first few days on PC because you just know that mod menus are gonna ruin it for everyone.

 

Mod menus don't care about "Park[ing] your attitude (and your weaponized vehicles) at the door". They'll throw you into cages, set you on fire, and crash your game either way.

I had uninstalled GTAV until recently due to lack of space on my HDD.
But due to an update announced today, I installed GTAV again.

Let's make some money to enjoy the update on the 20th. That's what I thought, but I haven't even made it to Los Santos yet.

 

It's all the fault of the infamous Rockstar Launcher.
Did you fail to update the Launcher? Code:Unknown, I've seen this error dozens of times.
I had no choice but to reinstall the Launcher. The update worked. But now they say, "Buy GTAV".

 

Rockstar Launcher is a new disaster created by mankind.
Why can't they make a nice, comfortable Launcher that is light, fast, and error-free like Steam?

Had a few connection issues myself this evening (it's like everyone is online trying to earn, hmm?) 

 

The kick-in-the-nuts was that I was doing hidden caches at the time. The game registered my first collection (next to LSIA), but must have tuned out for five minutes before notifying me that the connection had failed. In that time, I'd collected another three caches from near to Zancudo... but when I was kicked back to SP, when I logged in again I was back in the city having 'apparently' only collected the first. 

 

So more driving for me then...

i hate it when i call for one of my vehicles and i get killed by a griefer or tryhard, when i respawn, the vehicle i called for didn't spawn and i have to wait for another 5 minutes (how's that fair)??

There are still reliable ways of getting SPL of course, but greatstar seem determined to neuter even them.

This game has so many outdated things in it and by that I mean but not limited to are the animations are toons do. You want to use your pc to get some crate hit right on the D-pad and wait for them to do the animation to sit down but you better and get on the pc or you have to wait for them to do there animation before the hit this button comes up again.

Why can't it just send you straight to the log in screen.
