Levels really don't mean that much. On PS4 I'm a level 500 something with a bit over 300 days logged in and it is extremely rare that I play with others. There is a large part of the game that I haven't been able to experience because of this (mostly the majority of missions that requires 2 or more people to complete) . I wouldn't have a clue as to what to do in the Pac Standard or how to trigger the bike teleport.  I even have the casino heist ready to go with gold as the take, gruppe sechs entry and all preps completed and I haven't bothered with it as I just don't want the headaches that comes with playing with randoms.

Sounds almost as if a script is running that lets this happen. Perfectly fine cargobob is ok, but you enter vehicle warehouse and its blows up even in solo lobby. Pretty suspicious if you ask me.

It does. And it happened twice now.

Every time I drive past the casino, or drive within its vicinity, I get hit with a serious lag spike that lasts for like 5 seconds. So f*cking annoying. This game is struggling to run on these consoles.

Couldn't agree with you more. I had to pack up my PC recently and went back to console for the time being. The amount of lag and rendering issues is mind staggering. I was doing an export mission last night and the bad guys in the blue car drove right through a semi truck like it wasn't even there.

@Arrows to Athens @everybodysolo Its those stupid frame drops. I have noticed my frames dropping exponentially in GTAO lately and is becoming unbearable to play now on PS4.

The only time I really play with others was do the heist's,  Ive gotten lucky for the most part and managed to find decent randoms for the multiplayer stuff.    I havent bothered with the most of the 2 player missions either, I feel ya.

Between this and god mode, public free roam is borderline unplayable lately. Best to just avoid other players because if you get into PvP at all, you'll shortly be tangling with an invincible idiot, or someone will start raining hell on you from space.

3° Day of Doing Casino Heist to sharp my skills (plus some easy money) in all versions of this heist, it was way more smoother than yesterday and Wednesday, but of course there's still some really exotic people outta there ...

 

- IF you forgot to search for the exit disguise of the heist in the Big Con approach i will quit, doesn't matter if was a silly mistake or something. (At least you can see this in the job-payout screen).

 

- I'm seeing too many people which still search for the LVL 1 Security Access card instead of the LVL 2 card. (Got into a Exotic fella's Heist in XB today and oh man ... DON'T complain if you can't hack and thinks i'm too slow, buddy, if you wanted the Elite Challenge you could at least work for it).

 

- Silent and Sneaky and ... the Host doesn't use the EMP in the Checkpoint (okay, maybe for the Exit), but still runs in front of the Vault Checkpoint's camera. (Comical sh*t bro).

 

- I said before, if someone wants to do any approach other than the Big Con version of the Gruppe Sechs, do the goddamn Druggan Shipments mission, we aren't the goddamn superman against full armor terminator NPC's, even with a proper good team, always consider the possibility of someone screwing something up, especially in the Silent/Sneaky approach.

 

- I know people still doesn't know about the Heli at the Vinewood PD Helipad, but damn... seeing some people running either towards the sewers or trying to outrun the cops in city alleys and mountains, losing some time is somewat annoying. (Below Heist end Screen).

 

 

Aggressive/Artwork, 3 Players, Tunnel Entrance, 2° best Hacker, 2° best Gunman (Carbine Rifle) and 2° best Driver (Sultan Classic), Got the Druggan Shipments right, Electric Drill, we got ~2.42M in the Vault ... lost like 15K in the Cassino, things were going really well and in the escape ... 

I managed to get a police car, they got the Sultans (Okay ....), i went to the chopper but guess what ... the 2 fellas went in different directions in the city, i got the heli and tried to fly to catch them but after a while i had to flee to avoid taking too much damage in the chopper, they lost more than 250K while escaping and fighting the cops ... i managed to lost the cops after flying in beach/sea area ... i was flying to get them again and one of them send me a in-game MSG saying how i cheated because i had the Heli. (i forgot to print since i was flying to get them and one of them still had cops on it's tail).

 1 Year and 6 Months (Half a Year) ... since this heist was launched ... the Heli is a MUST for the Elite Challenge for at least 2 versions of this Heist bro, the 2 were playing together yet ... goddamn ... 23 Mins is NOT okay for people which isn't first timers in this Heist.

 

PS: I said before ... i know and i'm seeing a lot of newcomers for this specific heist from rookies, veterans or high level players, but again, ...do some research buddy ... value and make your time worth, i can waste some of my time while i'm playing GTA since i have other working business in FR around, but this is not a possibility for everyone around, also this will make this heist in either approach a smooth ride for everyone.

I've started noticing tryhards will message you out of the blue, even if you've not had any interaction or had a fight with them.

I remember something a while back about if you messaged someone or replied to a message, they could get your IP - and therefore boot you offline.

Had two different players message me constantly recently, asking if I want free money and could I help them get money, when they obviously didn't require any.

 

Or maybe its tinfoil hat time and I'm just paranoid

That's just what I call it. It's not really a glitch so much as abuse of the checkpoint. In a nutshell, once even one player gets to the bikes, they trigger a checkpoint, so at that point they can destroy the bikes then kill themselves; once you restart, everybody will respawn at the bikes (ie they are 'teleported' from wherever they were to the bike checkpoint).

 

Very useful if you are doing the method where one person carries all the cash & waits in the bank while someone runs to the bikes and does the trick - the cash carrier is thus never exposed to gunfire & no cash is lost.

 

Also useful if you have a team that includes three players who think the heist is called "Get Bogged Down In The Alley Fighting Endlessly Respawning Cops Until You Die". 

 

Of course, ideally you use this in conjunction with either the heli escape or Noose van escape, but you'll never pull those off with randoms; either they'll quit while you're setting up the heli or they will not get into the Noose van with an engraved invitation and a gun to their heads.

 

Once upon a time all of this was common knowledge, but those days are long gone.

Probably one of the funniest PvE thing to do in GTA: blow up cop cars with RPG only, switch to Combat MG in the alley, send another RPG when the car reaches the alley(second yellow point), keep going, use more RPG to blow up choppers and cars, and here come the best RPG hit: you can fire your RPG in the last alley before the last cop car even spawns. Blow up bikes, suicide, respawn. 

 

And its free, you get back your explo ammo refilled.

Or you could just use the Mk2 shotgun with explosive rounds and take most of them out while the RPG guy is watching his reloading animations.

Theyre loading in the cars for the parking lots infront of the casino and yeah, its annoying

I’ve had this happen to me several times as well. Once, I was AFK in my penthouse. I was in the room doing something when I heard a notification sound. I checked to see if I maybe received a message from a player, and what do you know? It was a tryhard demanding that I go up against him at the beach, or else I’m a pussy coward. Of course, I had just joined the session a couple minutes ago, so I never once interacted with this individual. I figured it had something to do with my rank. I ignored it.

 

I then got another message from the same degenerate again demanding that I verse him. No, jackass. I don’t want to “verse” anyone. Nobody cares about your amazing skills. Brain damage at its finest.

A lot of players don't seem to realise that we'll 1v1 when I decide it begins, not a minute before and in a manner I decide.

It begins with them not noticing me because I dress like an NPC and stay well out of the way, until they find themselves bombed out of nowhere.

Then, the inevitable barrage of "noooob" "1v1 psssy" messages begin and I rejoice. 

Like, why would I play against them using their rules?

For all I know, they're in godmode like 70% of the tryhard playerbase is these days.

Today i'm getting the Network error while trying to join services, yet NAT is open, internet connection is stable and i could/can play other online games without other/network issues.
