Whoever the dipsh*t at R* is that designed the F*CKING CHECKPOINTS FOR THE RACE SERIES TRACKS NEEDS TO BE HUNG WITH THEIR OWN f*ckING GUTS!!! Same for the f*cking piece of sh*te who designed many of the Hotring tracks. "Oh what's that? YOU DIDN'T GO THROUGH THE CHECKPOINT ICON WITH YOUR ENTIRE CAR? ENJOY GETTING PUT IN LAST PLACE BECAUSE MISSED CHECKPOINT! LOL WE'LL ONLY INFORM YOU OF THIS ABOUT HALF WAY INTO THAT LAP MUHAHAHA", the actual f*cking mindset behind these f*cking POS Checkpoints, some of these f*cking races become outright impossible to do if ANY F*CKING ONE is on the same corner, corner that 3 or even 4 people can go through safely, but the Checkpoint itself has such a narrow window that only one person will hit it if taken "Cleanly", and that's the keyword there....wonder why there are so many corners in races that the entire field just Yeets themselves into all at once, because it's the only way to insure you hit certain checkpoints in traffic. GG R*.


Shout out to the reason for this rant, the second Exit Checkpoint on Stock Market Crash. I Even Drove through it on the outside to avoid a crash, half my car (and my character model itself as a result) went through it, only to be told "WRONG WAY F****T LMAO" by the game because somehow I managed to "Miss" a checkpoint that the marker itself takes up that entire section of road. Oh and Sports class is such a f*cking mess it isn't even funny anymore, but that's another rant for another time.

Checkpoints that force you to land short on an epic jump, like in several stunt races are literally a crime againt gaming. I never used the Creator prior to losing my sh*t over stuff like that. I purposely made tracks that meant you could actually enjoy jumps and stunts. You know, like gaming should be....fun.

 

The ones that just kill me are the ramps you land on sometimes, like you have a hundred times before, and the nose of your car or front wheel of the bike just dig in and you stop dead for no reason. There are several of these on Transform tracks too.

This same logic is so heavily present through out the entire game. Tell R* to go f*ck a duck and attempt to break script in most Heists? Heist Failed because something something "VE ORDERED YOU DOWN ZE PATH YOU TAKE ZE PATH"....you'd think they were Stereotypical Germans with this sh*t.....

Last second edit: Would like to point out that said above angry red rage text is not a joke either. This is why I hate stunt races. Besides the broken as f*ck "Catch-up" that can actually glitch the hell out and f*ck you over completely by perma handicapping your engine and removing 2 or even 3 entire gears from your gearbox if you get into a heated side by side battle with 2nd place (And the game proceeds to freak the hell out and roll invisible DnD D20 to decide who the perma f*ck with the handicap because muh reason), but slipstream in Stunt races is next to useless because so many jump checkpoints are set up that you must, hit it and land at the exact speed R* Games has declared by word of God apparently is the Canon Speed that we hit the jump in GTAO's fever dream storyline, so if you slipstream off someone into the jump you have a 9 in 10 chance of somehow flying OVER the checkpoint and "missing" it even if the wheels clip the top of the marker.

I see with Rockstar patching out the NAT test method of solo sessions the jet & cargo griefers are getting even more cocky.

I suspect that it'll never work (unless EVERYONE does it), but we should probably all report & block every single one of those scumbags as we come across them - Rockstar will eventually have to do somethng about the reports (as will the Microsoft/Sony if you report the griefers to them as well) - but even if they don't, the griefers will have found themselves blocked by the majority of the playerbase.

Nope. Blocking does not and never will work in GTAO.

All the have to do is add one person in your crew and they can bypass a block in game.....or just give up even trying a normal block as there are methods on both Xbox and PSN to readd someone that blocked you as a friend and effectively overwrite the fact you blocked them. 

Long story very short: R* has made the problem entirely by catering to the worse hive of scum and villiany ever seen within gaming (That make MW2 players seem reasonable at times, and this is coming from someone that played MW2 from day one in the peaks of the moment), who have since fallen so far into the dark timeline that they will actively find ways to exploit the PSN and Xbox Live systems just to stalk you to get their kill back. Thus...it is on R* and R* alone to try to put the Eldritch Horror they let out of the box long ago, back in said box. Sadly, that won't happen because "Muh Shark Card Sells"

I feel a great disturbance in the player base, millions of legit people leaving the game and millions more turning to glitching to get their $$$.  Good job R* countless players like me that used solo public lobbies to play legit without the frustrating bullsh*t of which you reward players for greifing now have no reason to even log in, the same reason player numbers in rdro is dog sh*t.  Sometimes players just want to be left alone or play peacefully with their friends without the toxic bullsh*t you’ve created,  now those legit players will find other games to take up their time and attention as I know I will.  We know rdr2 will never be what it was hyped up to be and gta is like bread that finally grew mold, time to move on and toss em both in the bin.

I'm aware of the LAN cable trick (and have the means to use it due to my network layout) but that's not an option for many other players.

This isn’t even an option for me, sad thing is players shouldn’t even have to resort to nat test/mtu tricks to play legit.  The option to play all of the business aspects are available in I/o but is not available to players - just R* employees trying to show off their dlc on a live stream.  R* is fully aware of what their player base is like in public lobbies they just don’t care, look up the respective business dlc and watch R* live stream players get destroyed until they go to private lobbies to avoid the greifers and show off the new “at the time” businesses.

Rockstar will put the time in to prevent players from NAT testing their way into public solo lobbies but they haven't done anything about fixing the issue of Rockstar Editor not uploading edited clips onto YouTube.

I don't understand why not. If they are wired, cheap $20 router installed inline will give them the ability to do this. If they are wireless then purchase a 2nd wireless access point router and just take your time refreshing your IP address (TP Link). 

 

If you're in a college dorm room, yea you're forked. Only option would be to put a cheap wireless router in relay mode.

This exactly, it was bad enough to have to resort to nat test/mtu tricks to play peacefully.  I’m not yet ready to uninstall but getting closer every day.

If I remember right, the initial announcement of that event said that we would receive the money after April 14th. My guess is that sometime today (April 15th) we will be given the reward for that event.

Why rockstargames dont patch glitches that break the game like save wizard frozen money glitchers spamming the orbital cannons all over the place or the god mode player glitch using invalid job that working from 5 months and they didnt patch it with background update , cayo perico update , 2 patches that was available to download !!!!!!!!!! There have been godmode griefers in nearly every lobby now

Can you kids f- off already with your xbox cries? it was obviously not intended considering they fixed it (at first anyway, yes i get how it sucks that its broken again now) and its not happening on other platforms either, so stop crying, and go cry at support instead. R* isnt trying to make you enjoy the game less, that would be beyond stupid, something changed on xbox and that causes this.

Dude suggesting that they start doing money glitches (after R* started banning for that shiz again recently) isnt very helpful, just tell them to play the heists or something, that way nobody gets banned.

So...there have been godmode griefers in nearly every lobby for months. Frozen money glitchers spamming orbital cannons all over the place. Gonna be awesome when the ban hammer team wipes all their accounts like they did with money glitchers. Right? Def gonna happen

 

 

GTA unlike most other games intentionally keeps cheaters (to boost shark card sales via griefing). It’s just disappointing, R*. 

 

 

GTAOnline hasn’t been this bad since the PS3/XB360 generation. With frozen money, godmode, lag switches & other exploits being abused in nearly every lobby, it feels like quality control just isn’t a priority right now.

While i wont b*tch about it (i still have a few dozen other 'rare' clothing items lol) i do feel like they should've just made a new item, a simple item would've been to just use that parachute bag texture for a shirt, a proper item would've been something like a bong hat, a beer hat with bongs on the side, or something silly like that (read: a new unique item) But yea, oh well, 1 item that becomes less rare, no worries there & also neat that i will get it for my alt character now i guess.

 

I mostly think its funny how a lot of threads are about this parachute bag now, shows how much people actually do care for 'rare' clothing items
