Just completed the new heist by myself, started from an invite only lobby (again by myself) and HOLY f*ck.

 

I swear the most fps I got on that island was 10. When I had to escape the compound, it was probably around 4 or 5, maybe less.

I know the PS4 is old Rockstar but its not that f*cking sh*tty, polish your freaking game, this is barely playable.

A few things I wanted to complain about...

 

* The insta-kill enemies in the Kosatka mission are f*cking bullsh*t. When you die, you have to get loaded out of the interior and spawn on a seashark, and then you've got to deal with the annoying helicopter. Just to get insta-killed and do it all over again unless you have a bunch of armor prepared for it.

 

* I finished one of the prep missions for the new heist. I got into my sparrow to leave the Kasatka, but got stuck in an infinite loading screen. I restarted the game, and of course it didn't save.

 

* Got spawn killed by A.I. with explosive ammo, because that's fair, apparently.

 

Come on, I know you guys can do better than this. This game is 7 years old and this shouldn't be happening anymore.

I hate this for a LOT of the setups..... just pisses me off.

i hate snow so f*cking much, i just crashed my heli into the sea two times because i couldn't tell where the ground is at. it's a pain in the ass to do the prep missions if you can't tell what's 5 feet in front of you.

Rockstar's definition of "fun" and "challenging" is you getting spawnkilled and insta-killed by the cheating AI. It's been like that since what? Doomsday when you get insta-killed in 0.2 seconds by an AI?

Impossible to fly by instruments as they don't exist.

I was heading to the island to do the gather intel with the smuggler plane and crashed into the ocean because I couldn't see.

Heads up, you can enter the sub while driving the Toreador and Avisa, just carefully drive directly underneath the belly of the sub and you'll get a prompt to enter.

Finished my preps and off I am to CP, to take a break from the FN LS snow sh*tfest, so my eyes can rest... got dropped in the middle of a tropical rainstorm.

All planes have instruments, you mght have to rubberband the right stick to see them though.

And some/all? planes, if you're wearing a flight helmet, have HUD in first person complete with altitude readout

I hate how the Velum always tries to go DOWN all the god damn time and I have to keep pressing up to keep it steady.

 

This is obviously done so we can't just put the controller down/alt-tab while the Velum is flying south to Perico to start the scope out.

I tried. Game ordered me back in the Velum. And if the Velum gets destroyed (accidentally pressed F while flying, like a n00b) the scope is failed.

way before. they got buffed when they first destroyed contact missions / other modes payouts for no logical reason.

 

enemy npc's using sniper pistols with the occasional, oh so much fun mini gun like rapid fire...

 

& lets not talk about getting insta-killed by shotguns on the ground used by no one oh my

Does this work even if you already bought the mini-sub that comes with the sub? Does a Stromberg work too? Is it worth getting the Toredor if I already have a Stromberg?

I can't say for 100% certainty if you can enter the sub with the stromberg but I think you can. I have mine stored in the moon pool inside the sub. And the Toreador is so bad ass I bought two at full price. You can boost out of the water like a dolphin... It's freakin sick! I recommend having both to be quite honest. But if you decided to sell your Stromberg to cut the cost of the new "stromberg" you wouldn't be missing anything. The Toreador seats 4 and does EVERYTHING the stromberg does.. But keep in mind Strombergs are in Transform Races if you're into those...
