On a serious note the infinite mission spam with the new weaponized vehicles, MCing the Oppressor and it’s MK2 variant and the microtransactions makes me worried about RDR2.

I've shut mine down. There are better ways to make money. f*ck you Cockstar, if you don't like it you should not make it so difficult to make legit money...

What is so difficult about making money unless you are just starting out? I don't understand. Between MC businesses (coke meth and cash), bunker, and night club I can do almost 10 million every 20 hours spent in game. Add in 8 triple crate runs an hour or some cars and it really adds up quick. The problem is there is nothing worth doing with the money.

You're not paying attention are you? I can make enough money to cover my insurance costs without my bunker. That's not the point (and if you'd have been paying attention to this particular discussion you'd know this). The point is that with every update Cockstar finds new and more insulting ways of making life in LS difficult. From NPCs ramming you relentlessly to sh*t not working on things you buy to paying for security for no f*cking reason to being punished for defending your stuff or collecting a bounty to not fixing bugs that are literally years old, to, to, to, tooooooo....

Im trying to hit rank 500 but only just passed rank 421. Ugh I feel you on this. These even weeks and current god mode glitches havent helped online either. Oh another Bitch and moan. Honest question. Why do you keep grinding despite all the money you have? I'd just bank all of that and f*ck around until the release of RDR2 by buying literally anything.

This "old" car dripfeeding is partially our fault, well 20%, 80% is R* fault, why?

Remember when someone created a thread that named ordinary cars dlc? Yes they heard us but with poor execution by just adding new liveries to the existing "old" vehicles and dripfed it, once again R* got it wrong, when will they make it right?

: and none of that has anything to do with the quote a copied. Yes the game SUCKS. Yes, Rockstar go out of their way to make it suck more. Welcome to 2014. I'm just saying making legit money isn't hard. It's time consuming, it's boring as all Hell, but it's most definitely not difficult. 

 

Actually I take that back, slightly. The most difficult part of making legit money is finding ways to stay entertained during the grind. Some just go AFK, I try to see how high of a taxi bill I can get, but there really isn't sh*t to do in free roam while all the businesses generate.

I've been trying to get to the crate plateau so I can get the call about specials, I totally ignored crates since I really don't like the office clutter.

The paintings don't look bad, but the pharmaceuticals and crap just look terrible.

I bought the small Rancho warehouse and just source and sell one at a time for max RP, since I've been leveling my second character.

 

Anyway, I have gotten the tug sell mission way too often...ugh...boring.

Sometimes you get hostile jetskis, but that does little to relieve the inanely tedious trip out to the sell point.

 

I did manage to land one of the jetskis on the foredeck of the tug:

 

 

The bad guys just sat on it and kept shooting at me (and missing).

Eventually when a wave tilted the tug just right so I could shoot the guy off the back (while still piloting the boat), I then left the helm and shot the front guy, while another pair of jetskis approached so I had to eliminate them.

 

Now after reaching the crate plateau (20 sales) I farted around for the better part of an hour, no call.
