Have I been imagining things all this time? I have two accounts with three characters, all own Zancudo hangars, and until recently PVs would spawn next to the hangar. I haven't checked with the main account, mind you.

I'm just here to point out that casino and yacht missions, and sometimes even casino heists are contact missions, yet MOC and Lamar missions aren't.

I was just minding my business in a half full lobby, trying to get a Dubsta2 spawn, when I hear a faint buzzing. The buzzing becomes progressively louder. I figure an RC or a drone is approaching. I hop up on a ledge, fairly high off the street below. Then ZAP. Some dickhead with a drone zapped me off ledge and I fall onto the street below. Luckily, not high enough to be killed. 

 

Recollect myself, the buzzing is near again, increasing by the second. It zaps me once more. I'm incapacitated. I get up, look around, spot it, and fire at its general direction. It flies away. I run to my Comet SR, jump in and book it. 

 

It's pretty annoying not being able to see who is controlling the drone.

Joined a contact mission on call. One level 1200+ and two newbie (or resetted) players. Level 1200+ guy decides to get grief us, runs me over with his fully-upgraded ZR380 and kills me when trying to evade the cops. Then he starts laughing because of course the d***'s got a mic as well. But the thing that bothered me most was how damn annoying his laughter was. One of the worst I've ever heard. I felt a strong urge to punch him in his teeth, if I could've.

 

I swear, I'm so sick and tired of these mindless griefers. They're lucky I'm not a data hacker or something, otherwise I'd troll them so badly they'd never wanna own a computer again.

Mission trolls are the absolute worst. I just wanna relax and play some missions like the good old days on last gen, but some scrotum sack in the session feels the need to either sabotage the mission or troll me by running me over, destroying my personal vehicle, or constantly ramming into my car like a certified twat for no reason. It's always satisfying when I manage to give them a taste of their own medicine and kill them until they're forced to spectate. If it's just me and them in the mission, I might go AFK for an hour just to piss them off even more, forcing them to leave without a payout. I love that sh*t.

 

Once, I joined a contact mission with this rank 900+ who just wanted to troll me in his Insurgent constantly ramming into me, sending me texts like "Haha rank 800 noob. I'm higher rank than you. Noob!". Brain damage at its finest. He wasn't there to do the mission at all, only harass the next victim that dared to join his lobby next. How much of a dick do you have to be to do something like that? Seriously. Must be a sociopath in real life. What happened in the end? I ended up slicing his character with helicopter blades, forcing him to spectate. I managed to force him out of his vehicle somehow after trolling back (can't remember all the details) and he was stood on top of a bush so I couldn't flatten him with my car, which I believe may have been a Nightshark. I tried to think smart and called Merryweather for a helicopter pick up. The helicopter landed, and I quickly got out and hijacked it, just before he attempted to hijack it from me. As soon as the helicopter left the ground, I positioned the blades towards his path and sliced him real good. F*cker ended up spectating. I sent him some taunting messages laughing at him, and he had a complete change of tone and attitude, going from tough sh*t to pretending like he's laughing with me because he knew he got humiliated.

 

I believe this was Bad Sport, too, so I think I encountered the pathetic prick again in a free roam lobby. I ended up mugging his sorry ass. He then sent me a salty message. Must have remembered me from when I embarrassed him in that mission. C*nt.

Ya those poles, the solid ones that are part of the map for me especially. I swear they put some of them on small bumps where you take off on purpose. I always hit some even if I'm careful as heck and they're right on bends or a slight hill, especially one that is near the canal I hit it almost every time because of an almost non existent bump. It's like my vehicle is hydroplaning or magnetizing into them. Or some grassy jump you think would be fun. You try to jump there? Ha too much fun, BEHOLD! A POLE!

Somehow the insurance on my Dubsta2 (the rare one) was removed (despite me checking it a few weeks ago) and someone decided to blow it up and make an excuse by saying "Oops I thought it was a Lost MC vehicle from my mission." because all the hardcore (respectfully) biker crews know the Lost MC will totally take a classic cream Dubsta2 with a custom plate over a bike, Lost Gang Burrito and Lost Slamvan.

Got 2 sweats last night 2-0 and 3-0 with that combo.

Chased me into the tunnels where I dropped some proxies too.

Why some people are dumb? Yesterday was doing some crate runs on my own just chilling, out of nowhere mk2 blowed up my truck. Started to fight him, when I was beating him in dust, his friend came. When bout of them lost for next 10 mins, accused me of cheating and started complaining. And I was like, did I go to you to fight? Did I blew up your cargo? And they where, no you cheater.... so annoying. Don’t be like that.

Yupp, that's a longtime tactic of mine as well. Also works fine in the Halftrack, since while not as tanky or fast, it has bulletproof windows at the front so less getting shot out by an (un)lucky respawn.

Always carry a Explosive Heavy MKII as back-up for Jets though.

It can take several hours to do a full solo bunker sale now...and I fill up two usually and sell them...I was fine with switching sessions if there were griefers or I had dunes etc...now switching sessions invariably lands you in the same session and you now need to do a resupply mission to see if it’s going to let you make sale...it’s quite shocking.

 

this is a good way to stop people making money from their side...just do nothing

 

I have made my money but good lord how they expect people to accept this is beyond me...theyre pushing people to glitch.

 

I might make multiple videos from multiple sales and then ask them for the stolen 21k from each one they owe me if it glitches out...with video evidence there’s literally evidence that they robbed you of 21k...at the very least.

A new lobby type that has the following disabled:

 

Orbital Cannon

MK2

Off radar

CEO

BST

RC cars

Ability to buy ammo from the interaction menu (giving ammunation a reason to exist again)

Heist warp

In-game texts

 

and..your own weapons cannot kill you.

 

I want the old GTA back.

When you could run around with a carbine and have big shootouts.

When it was actually fun, no-one became toxic and you even made some friends instead of people insulting your mother and wishing death on your family.

Yup, I always pulled out ye old Savage, Laser or Hydra and used that mission for target practice.

This event week was such a piss-off. Phantom Wedge was on sale, started up Asset Seizure to unlock it's trade price.

 

The twist? I had 45 minutes to redeem a -10% Warstock discount, yet to complete the mission, paired with a teammate that seemed genuinely f*cked in the head - this motherf*cker died countless times and could not drive a mile straight without flipping over.

 

In the end, I somehow got it done with exactly a minute to spare, I shot him to death, and left the session.

I tried the special cargo business for the 1st and last time today. Seriously this is the most ridiculous business I have tried yet. You pay... to steal.. junk in a desperate hope of doubling your money. Then have to sell it in a plane that can’t fly over most buildings without cops being alerted for no apparent reason. Who thought this would be a fun way to earn money?

Speaking of this, I noticed the Ms. Baker vehicle delivery is now bugged/disabled. That was the way to spawn one if you played solo or didn't have a friend that had one.

Another way to spawn one is to go MC and have your road captain spawn one.

Would just turn into the same RPG/Homing/Grenade spam it has always been.

 

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea, but it won't solve the main issue with foot-2-foot combat.

 

Also, ban Thermal. Fixes the building sniping.

 

EDIT: Actually, I would go even further.

Remove all armed and armored vehicles, except the Technical, and it should be the pinnacle of vehicular warfare.

Remove all explosives except for frag grenades and maybe pipe-bombs. Molotovs and gas are fine.

Remove bulletproof helmets.

 

This would be much closer to the GTA Online I would have wanted, and this is comming from someone who have never bought any non-military vehicles, except for the Brickade, Cargobob (for obvious reasons) and Kuruma(armored).
