Two times in a row, start mission, sub lvl 10 randumb goes AFK, mission doesn’t start until the f*cker goes to the checkpoint. Another mission, same deal again, had to kill the f*cker 3 times to continue

Ya this is pretty much is the only public thing I do using with my mobile base cab but even then they try and knock the trailer off me or spam rockets but not to steal it just to F with me because they'll just guard it not try and steal the trailer. I had griefers ram me with with anything even crash jets into the trailer in desperation? Also have had 3 people all at once attack each other while trying to take flip the trailer with the latest hardware like the cancer rocket bike, doubt they wanted the cash. Also had a rocket bike guy attacking while an Osprey (Avenger) rammed my truck and blocked me a few times, they'll just do it. Countless times been having them attack me with this even when more better pay offs are going around the map while mine isn't a good pay out they just have no intention of just stealing it just an easy target to grief.

 

I think I ever only saw one guy grab a cab to steal it but he was a low rank and he just snuck in after I made a mistake into a ditch and the trailer fell off, didn't have too much of an issue with that lol but he crashed in panic so I did get it back eventually, didn't kill'em tho.

I f*cking hate missions that require EVERYONE to hit the checkpoint, Blow UP IV and Sasquashed in particular. Because, like you said, if there's a twat AFK, you have to go all the way back and kill him until he spectates, wasting lives.

 

And then you have to drive an extra Sasquatch back to the f*cking docks. I swear, Cockstar did this sh*t on purpose.

Which is funny, how they changed survivals back in like 2014, they respawned afk players just outside of the survivals and they ended up getting kicked. the Original contact missions didnt have the stupid everyone must be at checkpoint bs. Ever since they added those to the game with newer missions, its been as you just experienced an issue... I like how they expect players to be somewhat competent at doing basic tasks in the game. 

 

The players of gtao would never be able to beat the dev times of Hangman's Noose, Bomb Da Base II, and Deal Breaker, needed to unlock the trophy/achievement.

These kind of players get placed on my friends list to be joined in session at some point in the future when they're trying to do something other than grief & given a taste of their own medicine. :)

Greifers seems to be a very dull playerbase. They wait for other people to make content so they can play. And the envy they have when seeing other players in the session having fun with just trying odd stuff!

imo, the game didn’t intend for us to use the chopper, and you can also get elite with driving...

but how do you know if rockstar meant to make that helicopter spawn on that roof for the heist? the helicopter method is similar if not the same as accessing that small garage near the bikes in the pac standard finale to steal the kuruma, which is just a cheap way (for people who aren’t really good at the game) of completing the finale as the game wasn’t intending for you to access your garages (and as far as i know, the garage method got patched too).

A majority of people just want to get the heist over with at a certain point.

The difference is that people who "are not good at the game" use sewers and helicopter as a crutch to get the heist done while people who "are really good at the game" use it to speedrun the elite challenge. I regularly go on call for the casino heist/play with Discord LFG players and the vast majority of them insist on using a helicopter. One guy i joined when i went on call for the casino heist left the heist when i didn't go for the helicopter. Helicopter is a noob tactic for players who are not willing to get better.

That helicopter spawn has been known to for Pac Standard, particularly the setup to collect Avi from the island. If R* meant to patch it with the casino, they've surely known of it for a long time now.

 

Of course, it could get patched, but I feel it's good for the game to have a variety of ways we can do things overall too.

Often I just steal a ride if the spawning vehicles are in crap places. Many times I'll blag a cop car too.

Ha ha I bought that house specifically for that I made about 15 mill before that was patched and that reset glitch at the end cutscene, well if I didn't do it probably would have quit the game earlier much earlier. Wait actually about 30 mill forgot had 15 after I went on shopp'n sprees over the DLC drops, ah the time when the excitement was there for new DLCs feels weird.

With the nightclub income being double this week, I started thinking about how much of a flop that update was and what could've made it better. Ignoring the Dipsh*t MKII, one of the things that could've made it better would be more variety in the type of club we could own. We could have gotten the generic dance club that we did, a rock and roll club or a Studio 54 style club as options or tied to the club's location so that there was a purpose to visiting other clubs. As it stands right now, everyone's club is exactly the same save for decor variations.

I typically use the helicopter during Big Con (going to the roof terrace and parachuting across the highway), and the Sentinel Classic during Silent & Sneaky. Manchez for fun when I know the other person can drive.

1] The pac standard helicopter has to be glitched to stick around, there are no heli's once you exit the bank unless you do said glitch. The police station helicopters in the casino heists are there when you need them, seems to me like its by design

2] I dont really see how you come to the conclusion that people who figure out glitches do so because they are not good at the game, my viewpoint is people who can figure out tricks like that are very good at the game, they know its inner workings, thats pretty high up on the 'good at the game' chart if you ask me.

3] Optimizing a mission should never be considered 'cheap' or 'for people who aren't really good at the game', i dont think you appreciate the time and effort people put into these kind of things, even if that thing includes a glitch (but if you consider [1] again, this specific case is NOT a glitch)

Edit: Completely forgot i was here to b*tch, i hate all these epic plebs, im just getting kicked from sessions now, no 'players are voting for you to be removed from the session' or whatever that message is, just out of the blue bam, kicked, f*cking fake level scum using cheats to get rid of anybody with a legit rank higher then their faked one.

Also the more i think about it the more sense all of this makes, what you do as games company is this, you take your game that has turned into a bloated buggy mess over the last 6 years, make it that much worse by opening the floodgates to cheaters, then you simply go "ah so you dont like these new players? well for the low price of 59,99 you can get rid of them!" and then just re-release the same bloated buggy mess

1] Got a source for this? all i can find is this, which turned out to be Tez2 misunderstanding something:

2] Dude lol, i guess im a noob and a garbage player for knowing how to get a helicopter for pretty much every heist and setup? if so i will proudly wear those titles lmao. That said of the thousands of players i helped get trough their heists quicker i've yet to be called noob or garbage by a single one of them, for some strange reason they all keep befriending me instead, i wonder why? And no, using mods and glitches for money is a long way away from using a glitch to get access to a vehicle that shaves at most maybe 5mins from the mission (in pac standard) But, once again, the helicopters in casino heist use no glitch what-so-ever, so idk why you keep screaming glitch glitch glitch noob this garbage player that when we've just established that its nothing like the glitched heli/vehicles in the old heists.

3] Again, any proof of this attempted patch? i sure didnt notice anything changing about the heli spawn since casino heist released (besides the tweet i just found trough google) Also its painfully obvious that you never even tried the heli approach in the casino heist and are just b*tching about it because it offends you that other players are more well versed at certain missions? its actually a pretty small window where you have to act or your (usually) nooby teammates will eat sh*t instantly when you reach the heli, so there totally is some skill/knowledge involved. As a matter of fact this small window of opportunity is completely devoid of cops, that fact can be considered more proof that this is intended playstyle, finally, having played the casino heist countless times since it launched, im 99% sure the change discussed by Tez2 actually removed TRAFFIC in the first x seconds of the escape, because it was WAY too easy to just run onto the highway, steal a car and yeet out of there, now you have to either rush within like 20s to make it to the heli before every cop in town is on your ass, or go to the vehicles you sourced, after which going to the heli is pretty much suicide with most players.

Also, to add on to your post, I never said this was a glitch, I just said it was similar if not the same as the Pac Standard garage method which got patched.

 

Additionally, you can stop replying to me now as I can see you like the helicopter method, but that’s fine with me, you do you, I do me.

 

Even Tez agrees it should be patched which helps to prove my point that this is not intended.
