I was hanging out at the beach with about four or five other players when one of them had killed the elusive female lifeguard. A black one at that. We stood around staring at her 'unique' character and I, with my skinny black female character, asked "Why can't I have those boobs? That ass? The one piece swimsuit? That thong back? Or that long braided ponytail? The lifeguard looks as if she's fashioned after a Kardashian sister.

This game seriously needs a cosmetic surgery center.

I'd really like to know what the developers were thinking when they designed the female online player character's body.

Considering social club stats for cash earned got horribly messed up for a lot of people since E&OC update when new ways of earning money didn't show up on money earned and Finance&Felony only counted money SPENT on buying crates but never EARNED from selling them.

 

And I hate being that guy, but when people on PC used to make topics about certain banwaves that hit a lot of innocents, it was mostly Console players coming in to act all smug like a bunch of smuglords. Naturally doesn't apply to all console players, of course.

And here comes the sh*tty God mode glitches.

 

 

 

I had killed the guy several times beforehand (he came at us for no reason). After 20 - 30 minutes or so, he comes back with God mode. I could tell because he seemed so confident on ground, not hesitating to run towards us for a run and gun. He wasn't being killed by a swarm of cops, either. His health was static. It just surprises me how some people can get so upset and emotionally scarred from being killed in a game that they have no option but to waste their time resorting to glitches.

 

I smell butthurt. Pure scum.

And also reminder that most people you encounter in this game are weird perverts getting off to a female character in a video game aaaaaaaaaand....

 

I agree there's no excuse for long hair for female PCs, though. Or the lack of clothing variety in general (I want to be able to wear a business shirt and tie with my trench coat, damnit! And a suit vest and tie with my overcoats)

Also, every time I change my character's appearance instead of spawning where I put the spawn location at (my office) it spawns me in the the f*cking bottom far right part of the map by the coast where I have to climb over the mountains (while continuously falling down and sh*t) just to get to a goddamn road.

Why is it that every time I try and play as an NPC and drive by the book, the NPC behind my will get impatient after one traffic light together and will start cursing me and eventually cut me illegally while dealing damage to my vehicle? Why are they OK with being stuck behind other NPC's, but not players? I'm not even stalling, moving with the flow every time, yet they always complain honk and throw slurs... Forcing me to get out of my vehicle and beat them and theirs, causing some other driver to deal damage to my vehicle...

Ha ha the random NPC have been attacking me lately any which way they can, me shooting at Merryweather I get random red dots of civilians angry at me too trying to ram me with police, they more agressive now is this the matrix all people controlled by the enemy? Also the biggest bitch I got from CEO car selling is trying to land your cargobob where the NPCs wont ram it into oblivion or into solid objects so you can take off with the car, joys! I always think it will be fine here, oh look it's in a ditch now.

It's easier less animations and programming, if you notice player models have no physics no clothing movements no jiggles, low res textures compared to other NPCs also every player has the same body model. They did this most likely so every character has the same model so they could add clothing you could apply easily the clothing in this game is a model going over the player body model. Clothing for players is seperate models whereas NPCs usually have only the clothing they wear as part of the entire model except I saw Lazlo seems to be different although that might fused to his body so to speak.

 

This in other games where the player model lacks detail because of clothing objects if we had physics they'd have to make the clothing jiggle or with the characters body its just faster and easier having none of that. Monster Hunter even does this too all the models can have clothing swapped and every character has the same body less resources used in online. Defiently they could add better clothing models though instead of reskins nothing new or good for Los Santos setting lately.

You scooped her up with the front legs, the bike caught on her, thought she was a surface and tried to correct itself which in turn caused her to roll over the hovering thrusters which blasted her off into space. Hover about six feet of the ground and fly over people and the same thing will happen, they will either get crushed into the ground or blast off along the ground.

I have no clue how R* cocked this up but they did.  I used to bail out of vehicles 5ish feet before the delivery circle when delivering vehicles in missions, but now i literally have to be in it when i hit the circle.  My friends and i used to do this so we could ragdoll into walls or ram each other with the vehicle and simultaneously deliver.  But now, NO FUN FOR YOU!!

If I join a job, and have gotten as far as to sit in the lobby screen, I don’t f*cking quit. The only thing that’ll make me quit at that point is if it’s set to Easy difficulty. So why is it that yesterday, when me and a friend ran a racing playlist with real, old school circuit racing, set to Custom vehicles, Contact ON, slipstream ON, catchup OFF, weather Clear, 2-3 laps... people join, wait for 10 seconds and then just leave??? I know, I know, what constitutes a good race is subjective. But those races were incredible! And they had none of that silly looping/jumping/boosting/transforming.

 

I even had one guy (a friend, at that), who spectated through a whole race and then when we were waiting for the next race to start, he left!

 

And please people, have some patience for christ’s sake! I’m extending the timer to increase our chances for more participants (which equals a funnier race and better payouts). But of course, instead people are leaving  Why don’t you use this ”pause” time to hit the bathroom, grab a drink, a snack, post on GTAF or read through an article, or just focus on your breathing for a couple mins? It pays off to wait! Why is everyone so impatient??

Yeah, you're probably right. We had one guy who joined from the beginning, and he stayed throughout the 9 race playlist. You could tell he was a good racer, apart from his win/loss ratio he even raced clean and so did we. Awesome to come across such sportsmanship really, but rare unfortunately. I accidentally spun him out a couple times and felt quite bad about it

I could complain about him only using the Vagner while me and my friend tried out different vehicles each time. Though, I too did actually use the Vagner on the last three races

If u ever spin someone out and feel like communicating that to them, just slow enough they catch u quickly, it is very obvious then that u felt bad.  

 

If u keep the setup u had for races, you will weed out most of the dix, and if u friend request the ones who stick around you will gradually be able to fill ur races quicker since they can invite like minded friends, who u then friend, and your circle keeps growing.  Then too you can simply start a text chat with the racing friends and say you want to try using different cars.  You each take turns calling out a different car to drive b4 each race.  I'd call two cars, in case they don't own option1.  I think I'd get back into racing more if the group I was racing was willing to play with different cars.

I've found (on PC - dunno about consoles) that if you hold the parking brake whilst you wait for the lights, the NPCs behind your vehicle get less agro-ed than if you just sit there without pressing anything. Obviously, this doesn't tend to work if your vehicle isn't equipped with a parking brake...
