r* needs to nerf the cops.

Skip the prison bus. Mk2 oppressor to the prison, the question mark will show up when you're over the prison, lock on to the desired guard and boom. If you're really lucky, the body will hit the ground. If not, land carefully on the railing, dismount the bike. You'll dive, but only a foot to the balcony, and the broomstick will stay on the rail. Grab the card and boost the f*ck away. Once you have the card, just run. You have to get pretty far from the prison on for deaths to stop the police, but you won't drop the card and don't have to return to the arcade.

Ugh. Doomsday Finale objective today... a silver lining to most places being on lockdown is that it was very easy to find finales today. Plenty of false starts due to the collective IQ of the player base being so low.

Okay, so I decided to come back to GTAO, after months of not logging in. 

 

Worst decision of my life. I wasn't even 10 seconds into the lobby and this happened.

 

 

Why do people still play this abomination? You can't even steal cars without getting an annoying bounty, (which discourages from stealing vehicles in a game that's literally called Grand Theft Auto) there's tryhards with these overpowered weapons that you can't even remedy, it's a literal national disaster.

This is actually a good argument in favor of nerfing said vehicles. Think about it, why would a new player spend hundreds in Shark Cards to buy a myriad of weaponized vehicles, when they could just buy enough to afford a Nightclub, a Terrorbyte, an Oppressor Mk II and be as deadly as any veteran on this game with half the effort instead?

 

By refusing to nerf these vehicles and just increasing the power creep to nonsensical levels in the name of profit, they're actually leaving a ton of money on the table, ironically enough.

Removing the only "feature" that makes this game actually playable would be the straw that breaks the camel's back and make the playerbase band together and demand R* to either balance the game so selling in Public lobbies is actually doable or letting us sell on Invite/Crew sessions (or even better, both).

 

I mean, people banded together in the past when the whole OpenIV fiasco happened and even nowadays with the Green vs Purple alien war thing, so yeah, I lowkey wish for that to happen, ngl.

Holy cow, i used to look at people complaining about new vehicles and pvp features like "meh, git gud m8" but now that i'm back to this mess that is the oppressor mk2 and the rc tank i'm just speechless. That sht is litterally the most retarded stuff i've ever seen. Don't get me wrong, i'm a big fan of freemode pvp and players going after eachother but that mk2 tard-cycle is just bs, it's so f*cking unskilled and annoying, i remember that at least the original oppressor had a limit to how many missiles you can carry but this seems to have so many rockets, lighting fast speed and flares on top of that, free cheese in a nutshell, i love skilled pvp like sniper battles, hydras and everything that requires a minimum of skill but this is just next level bizon poop. Even that rc tank, so you're farming players in sniper battles and next thing you know they become untargettable while spawning their tank, go off the radar and start cheesing you.

So I just realized tonight I lost over $10.5 million in cars I bought on the 30th because the R servers weren't working (4/30) & I DIDN'T know they weren't working because I never got the "SAVED FAILED." message and logged in just fine and played for hours. I even l logged out into single player like I always do & it saved my outfit I changed but not the cars I bought. I NEVER just shut off my system. This sucks. Hopefully R will fix it. I'm not holding my breath tho.

People who turn on "Catch up" and turn off "Custom Vehicles" in Hotring Races need to be removed from the kingdom of man, I'm starting to get Really sick of people using it as an excuse to do nothing but ram there way to a win, and on top of that, this is THE SECOND GODDAMNED TIME the car's gearbox decided that the mid of 3rd gear at barely 5k RPM was perfectly fine........Even 5 laps after I fell out of 1st place to 7th. That is all

That's the point. It's a power creep as you say. Stuff like the Akula and Hunter look cool and used to have a place which is why people bought them but now it's "The Golden Geese". New players will fall into the trap of either buying obsolete vehicles or they are forced to spend money to keep up.

 

There is such a power discrepancy between high level players and everyone else.

There is zero variety left in this game. Predictable as all get out. I can't kill a single person in freemode without a complaint. And with my semi high level if anyone kills me Im instantly trash.

 

Times I've been on a fun Player versus Player car chase: 4

 

Times I've been blown up with a homing rocket and called trash: 3,762

not to mention not being able to do ceo work on your computer in your penthouse, r* really dropped the ball with the casino penthouse.

Ugh, Customs off AND catchup? I remember one time when a host left and OF COURSE a low level player gets host privileges and immediately turns off custom vehicles claiming its fair and tells 80% of the other racers to STFU.

 

And we all know people sometimes don't even want to bother finding a new lobby so they stuck with it, but I wasn't going ot take that sh*t sitting down. I zeroed in on the sh*t host and made sure to pit him so hard off the race he ended up last.

 

I know what I did was wrong, but it still felt so right when I saw other cars type "enjoy last place in your "fair race" bitch!".

After 4+ months of being in a crew, I FINALLY wind up in a session with 2 others from the same crew - and what's the first thing they do?  Try to vote me out the session.  If they'd simply sent me a message asking me to head off out as they just wanted it to be the two of them then it would've been preferable (although when I entered the session it was only me and one of them) - not that I would've even gone near them as long as they left me alone as well...

Just lost an entire afternoon and 64k because a f*cking valkyrie beat the sh*t out of me selling an small warehouse with the plane mission. Honestly, I don't see a reason why people wanted those f*cking crates to be 2x. They are so frustating and consuming to work with, gathering and selling. Also, I don't know how people could even permit one of these sales to ever exist. It's simply impossible to escape that sh*t. That's not only boring and repetitive, but also really bad for the mind.

I’m going to sell between 7-9 large warehouses Wednesday evening...sourced 468 crates so far

In that case, it's definitely an "Ouch" moment - I hate those runs.  Thankfully I've not had any since switching from the male assistant (who seemed to give me those missions 9 out of 10 times) to the female one.

I have a small warehouse for setting up sales missions. I will sell single crates from it until I get a plane mission - then, as you never get the same delivery type back to back as long as you stay in the same session, I know I can then sell one of my full warehouses & will get either tugboat or brickades.

Get in plane. Get out of plane. Fly to waypoints in an armed aircraft and destroy the 3 enemy helicopters. Return to airport and start sale. Alternatively, you can fly away as soon as the enemy blip appears, land, and then grab something weaponised. It's easy if you use a bit of thought instead of just blundering in. You even have the fallback of closing the app/disconnecting and only losing 3 crates if you do f*ck up. Compared to later DLCs, crates have the simplest sale missions, and the most generous amount of time to do them in.

And here you're being rude even not knowing anything. I tried to escape, the heli keep up with my plane until I landed it. I got out of it as fast as I could, saved the plane for the first moments but not my character, they almost imediatly killed me with their canon.  Then they started spawn killing me until I spawned far enough to take it down. My plane didn't even turn on.

Was I suposed to guess that a f*cking helicopter with 2 canons would spawn? 

The game is in the state that it is because of people like you.
