That Gerald mission Go Figure? Some rando dickhead I was playing with destroyed the van as I was collecting the figurines. He wasn’t even helping, either. He was driving around in circles in his Insurgent before he decided it would be funny to blow up the van, causing us to restart.

 

My question: WHY?!??

Because they're randoms. :)

 

I've been playing for close to 4 years and I didn't have many good experiences with randoms in my early days. I know I'm limiting myself, but they're not worth my time.

IF only we were allowed to do everything in I/O and crew sessions people would actually band together and play together. Heck, sometimes my friends and I have to be careful whenever we have a session to ourselves because the more of us together, th emore signals the servers send that our server is secure and Rockstar sends i nthe clowns.

 

Also, jus thad to laugh at the guy's chuckle when he mentioned Smuggler's Run. It isn't the payout that's garbage for that business. It's th esell mission that are so hopelessly rigged against solo players to the point it's childish on Rockstar's part.

I recon that I spend most of my time in free roam WANTED

Everything you do you get wanted. The cops are always on your tail. wanted wanted wanted wanted wanted, every time you try to defend yourself from someone you're wanted, every mission has that mandatory lose the cops to drag it out. Some missions will force a wanted level on you that you will automatically reacquire every time you respawn. What is with r* and their obsession with cops? The biggest problem with freemode is the cops. In order for free mode to become enjoyable again r* needs to tone down on the f*cking cops!!!

I second that. 

There are times, strange times when you did not do sh*t. 

Sometimes just protected myself. 

Sometimes some angry redneck starts a fist fight with me, I am passive, just accidentally bumped into him. 

 

He interrupts my business. 

Buying snacks that is, I get a wanted level because he starts to punch me. 

 

Then 2 stars sometimes take ages to vanish. 

I am a gta 4 free aimer to the bone and would prefer free aim lobbies if R* wouldn't give the cops the best precise target lock around. 

f*ck the cops in this game

End Product AKA GERALD SET US UP

 

I dunno about you, but that mission is so dumb with having to fight off a  million ASSBALLS popping up like daisies shooting at the van. And Gerald just sits on his short ass thinking "Yeh fofo wait for the buyer fofo G" and doesn't even seem to bat an eye that WE'RE GETTING AMBUSHED!

 

He called the Ballas on us! The dumbass Ballas ASSBALLS aren't even trying to steal the drugs, just blow it up! They fail at stealing.HE'S THE NEW STRETCH!

There's a bug on the casino heist that pops up now and then too. I'll lose the cops and cruise up towards the final checkpoint and sometimes as I'm getting near to the meeting point, the game will randomly throw up a one star wanted level. One star sounds easy, but it usually has cop cars spawn pretty quickly too, lol.

 

Nothing I/we did to attract the fuzz either, crazy bastards!

That's just a way to screw you out of the Elite Challenge. Happened to me and my buddy so many times.

My friend and I had to quit that one. There's 7 million people from every angle; every alley, rooftop, all that. And even if you quickly kill around 50 people, the Mule might still be getting crushed.

Yes. I have far more money than stuff to spend it on, and there's no point wasting 3 to 10 minutes to find another session only to still risk pulling them again.

 

I can do 2 full casino heist for every MC sale round, and 4mc round per bunker. It's more profitable to destroy the post op trucks and start another heist setup than to waste time driving the trucks.

 

That's another bitch, $40 million, and nothing to do with it.

Currently on attempt 16. Half are Team Deathmatches and the other half are King of the Hills. Why would I expect this game to ever work? Can't wait to do it again in an hour on my other character.

I mean, I get that this isn't a racing game, but SOOO many players are terrible at racing and sore losers that quit after I put more than 8 seconds on them in an OWR. It'll be a full lobby and by the time the five laps are up there will be 3-4 people left including me. That's some little dicked behavior, take the L like a man/woman. It's bad enough that we have to use non contact if we want to weed out griefers and AFK bums.. I suggest joining/creating a racing crew for anyone who wants to race with contact on with people who aren't assholes or mentally handicapped.

Go to the pause menu -> online -> jobs -> play job -> rockstar created -> deathmatches -> Compound. Only one person has to join and you're done.

I use canals personally and I got a person within 30 seconds on both characters.

I hate that!

 

Anytime I join randoms on a heist, I inevitably see that when we get split off after a successful job and 9 times out of 10 I miss out on an invite to a finale, lol. Bloody annoying sometimes.

Tried the new Gerald missions and turned them off after one. I thought it was impossible for R* to make GTAO any more tedious but they managed it. Let's make a mission where you need to steal a van, then go and collect six figures not marked on the map that a re hidden in annoying locations and then lets do it all over again.

 

At least RDO has vibrations when you are close so you're not running around aimlessly.

That's how I felt with Bargaining Chips when the casino came out. Such a pain in the ass of a mission.

I will go back and finish the ones I missed eventually but that mission killed any desire I had to play GTAO.

I'm sure it's been mentioned already but who the f*ck thought it was a good idea to make the map icons cover the health bars on the HUD? Especially in a game where every NPC with a bb gun can hit you with god-like accuracy 100 meters away and drain your life in 2 shots. 

 

Speaking of which, it's to the point now where I barely have time to see where the bullets are coming from that my face is resting on the steering wheel of my car, covered in the glass of my now shattered windshield.

Gerald, we're done here. I am no longer getting product for you against infinitely spawning enemies, selling your product for sh*t pay and yea, the families are now going to be attending a LOT more funerals. Keep your agoraphobic ass in your apartment because there is now a proximity mine on your door.

R*, you should know better. sh*t pay, infinitely spawning aimbot bulletsponges are not the way to create contact missions. Contact missions are supposed to be a somewhat entertaining "vacation" away from the chaotic hellhole freeroam is. While I do appalude you on the story of these new missions, that part WAS enjoyable, you made the enemies cheap and unenjoyable.

 

I will never play these missions again.

The god damn neck gaiter masks.

 

You cant wear them without a hat, you cant wear them with anything that is not a forward cap or a domehelmet, you cant wear them with your hood up, you cant put glases on (outside of a neat little trick) and if you switch sessions wearing one with a diffrent hat than the original one it reverts back to the black cap.

 

Seriously why this bloody obsession with putting a hat on every half mask?

There is no logical reason thaz requires a mask to be worn with a hat. The darn character even takes of the hat when in a car.

I love these new masks since they do not blur the edges of your vision in first person and still give my character that "criminal on the job" look.

I hope that one day I will be able to wear a neck gaiter with my hooded assassin/sniper outfit to complete its look.
