Of course, there are many other vehicles griefers can use in the game, but the Oppressor Mk2 is just the worse piece of sh*t Rockstar could ever add to the game. The Mk1 was fair enough and I like it TBH, the Deluxo ain't that fast, the Scramjet and the Vigilante are avoidable, but the Mk2 was just a huge mistake on Rockstar's part

The reason people do Haulage, headhunter or Torched is to make enough funds to actually get started on the other stuff - and blocking people from doing that is only going stop them from enjoying the game when it happens every single damn time - forcing more and more people into solo public lobbies or into other games entirely.

The game doesn't tell anybody to do anything bub. It sends out streams of invite notifications though, and any player who indignantly replies that "The game told me to" in retort to accusations of griefing is actually right when they state this. What they mean however is that the game invited them to do it and thus their play is legitimate, even if that is bad news for grinders.

 

Back to the game modes above. In lieu of attacking cargo, which I don't do personally, I see those Freemode game modes, along with the others such as Stand Your Ground, Piracy Prevention, Executive Search et al, as acceptable PvP games. Players shouldn't start them if they expect others in the session not to respond to the invite to play them.

Bitch and Moan of the day: Non-user controlled Daily Objectives.

 

Today I've come across about 27 Freemode Challenges, 3 Freemode Event, and finally, just as I was about to quit, the one Business Battle required for today. It took an entire day for one to show up. Boo!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, RDO does daily objectives soooo much better than GTAO. In RDO you're rewarded for each daily objective, a streak increases the multiplier of the reward(up to 2.5x), and you only actually need to do one objective per day to keep the streak going(and can do more for more reward). There's no requirement to do impossible RNG things just to keep your streak going, though those kinds of things are sometimes still in the daily objectives list.

And maybe only make them panic when bullets hit their cars. They should be used to the Los Santos Lunacy by this point.

It would be very nice if the NPC drivers could demonstrate that they have a drivers license and passed a drivers test. 

The same could be said for players too.

Also I've been playing Motor Wars over the weekend and I have a complaint. Several times when my team jumps from the helicopter; at least half of them die because they don't know how to parachute.

This. I haven't joined a job in exactly a week. Any job I join on call is "NULL" where any lobby that populates goes as far as "Job is no longer available. Return to GTA Online". I've sold my Nightclub and sourced 2 IE cars waiting for a race that initially had 27/30 players drop to just 9 and it eventually started searching for another job for the next 5 minutes. 

 

But what about the times when I do (finally) join a job? A full lobby of players "joining" indefinitely with an expired timer and an indefinite Loading message at the bottom right corner.

 

I was originally here to say that I've recently waited so long for a job to start that it started snowing (unbeknownst to me) in the next session I was thrown into. Quite fitting, because I was absolutely fuming.

Wow, just found out that R* released one of the beer hats that I don't own and I missed it. I logged in earlier last week to get the livery unlocks but the info about the beer hats was nowhere to be seen on the Newswire .

I was AFK since yesterday in a Blow Up mission.  When I got out of that around noon there was no snow, I had no idea of the snow.  A friend invited me to a stunt race.  I won 3 races in a row and it wasn't even close.  I had no snow but I wonder if my friends did?  No wonder they were so bad haha.  When I finally changed sessions I saw the snow but after the races.

A followup to a previous B&M about getting dumped to story mode a dozen times. I had done a trouble ticket with R* support and they said it wasn't them and I needed to change my port settings on my router. I had also suggested that they should add a second button to retry joining online instead of just the one button to continue to story mode.

Last night I got disconnected while trying to join a friend's session on an invite and something new happened. It dumped me to story mode as expected then tried to reconnect to online automatically without me pressing any buttons. I was only in story mode for about one second. Strange.

And that was the only connection error all night.

This happens to me quite often, sometimes it doesn't even get to showing the whatever single player character I had selected before going back into the clouds.

More a positive note here than a moan - but I was in a session last night and a griefer decided to show up in the session - targetting pretty much anyone doing any business work at all.  he started out on a jet and went straight for me as I was moving about on my Mk2.  I dodged his attacks and saw messages saying he was killing others after failing to get me - so I about turned and got close enough to launch a few missiles in his direction then took shelter in a car park.

At this point I spotted 2 guys he'd been targetting who were trying to shift business goods - so I sent them a message saying that I was friendly and would leave them alone as long as they returned the favour.  The griefer eventually came back over towards them - but I was close enough that I was activated ghost organisation and covered those guys - taking down the jet griefer and suppressing his Mk2 when he called it in - enough that he wound up teleporting to his own facility.  When I spotted that I switched to the RC Bandito and advised the guys I was helping to do likewise or go indoors in case he was going to use the Orbital Cannon.  As thanks they invited me along on a couple of heists - and I've now managed to gain a few extra friends.

On a side note, I got invited to their facility to start the submarine mission of the Doomsday heist - and I got a message from the griefer asking what I was up to.  I decided to play with him and simply responded "Guess..." - I suspect he was paranoid until we all vanished on the job.

For the big PR stunt they pulled about donating a pittance of shart cars sales they made, they could have put some decent sale up this week to drive shart card sales. 

 

Not that I'll ever but one of those worthless pieces of sh*t, but give me SOMETHING to spend my damn in game money on or at least activities that are fun to do even if they don't pay well.
