Have Rockstar tweaked things in the past couple of days?

A couple of days ago I was having no issues with raising funds.  Cycling a couple of car sourcing/sales with nightclub and MC business sales - but now it seems to be as if 80% of the MC sales are essentially guaranteed Post-Op van runs - and in stealing/selling car runs, any hostile NPCs seem to slaughter me (from full health & armour to completely dead within milliseconds - and it's suddenly deciding that 70%+ of the car sourcing missions it's going to give me are the Cargobob ones - resulting in tens of thousands worth of damage being done to to the car thanks to those buzzards that show up and destroy the cargobob before I've had a chance to go 200 metres inland from the coast - and then start blasting me before I can even respawn in properly, meaning I'm spending most of my time respawning, going to change gun and dying than I am actually delivering vehicles...

It's almost as if Rockstar have decided "You're getting a couple million bonus "free" - so we're going to force you to spend at least 5 times that on body armour, ammo, supplies and running costs so that you're going to have to buy shark cards just to be able to afford an e-cola ingame..."

Regarding Stunt Races how do these assholes keep resetting the time?  I thought you could only add 30 secs before launch.  I’m sitting there 2-3 mins while the jackass host keeps adding in minutes at a time.

If you switch matchmaking off and then back on, it resets the timer.

So, Races in PC version are not worth at all right? I was just playing an almost full Stunt Race today, some modder spawned lots of npcs just as the race started, I gained the upper lead and remained there until my screen just went black and a message appears that some user invited me to his appartment. I was basically booted out. So the modders/hackers have the powers to do even this... I just Alt+F4.

The guy had 15 people waiting and he keeps resetting it.  5 people get sick of waiting and leave so he resets it again.

After 5-6 years, I still can’t believe that they felt the need to block off the ramp on the parking lot in the mission “The Parking Garage”. It only saved us like, what, 15 seconds? Did that really warrant the barricade on the ramp? 
 

They’re that paranoid about their little skunk card sales. What a pathetic company. It’s laughable.

r* really needs to nerf the cops, after the recent casino heist dlc the cops are now super aggressive.

today ii was doing the casino heist setup where i need to get laser drills from the military and of coarse both the military keep killing me and i can't call off the cops!!

i ended up quitting.

It’s not really about fun; it’s about convenience. Why would I spend 15-20 seconds driving down the parking lot when I can just jump right off with the ramp that’s already present there? How would me shaving 15-20 seconds off my journey to the drop off affect their skunk card sales? It’s absolutely bizarre.

I finally have a threeday weekend and some free time. I have a guy from the LFG stuff for the Casino heists

 

AND MY f*ckING ARCADE REVERTED TO PRE SETUP
I'm hoping a restart fixes this, but if not, I've lost at least 6 fully modded cars because I have no access to the garage and sooooo much time. 

Okay, so, 
I have my cars back. But I'm going to see what they say about my support ticket. I did lose all the setups that I straight bought being impatient when I thought I could straight up do it solo.

Awful session today. Tried stunt races. Dirty racers. Tried survivals. Couldn't find one. Tried contact missions. Could only find casino missions.

 

Someone wanna tell me when the game is fun?

I don't see why they had to build online around killing other player or I guess make it one of the bigger parts of the game......

 

I think it would be so much better if we had a pvp system like most mmos, if you want to kill other players you flag yourself for pvp or play pvp matchs. I would love to play in lobbys with other players just doing our own thing and not flipping each other over and saying "well, the game told me to do it" or "R* made it this why so I'll do it".

I wonder how salty that guy on the broomstick thinks I am because I quit the session he was in? Nevermind he didn't get a single kill on me and came to bother me after I was backstabbed by that 77. Gave that guy every chance to leave the fight, but he kept coming at me.

Thanks for the 1000 dollar bounty, I guess. Some pocket change and a super early warning that you're coming so I had plenty of time to ditch that fight. Maybe your buddy in the Pyro should consider a lazer or a hydra with an explosive cannon since he can't aim his little divebombs worth a f*ck.

Killing other players has been a popular thing to do since the beginning of online multiplayer games.

GTA 5 Online doesn't need to pretend to be something it's not. There's nothing stopping you from playing in lobbies where people just mind their own business. Just join one of the several crews that run invite only lobbies specifically for that type of gameplay.

So apparently if your connection with other players is bad in your vehicle you can't lose a wanted level. Just failed a setup because we could not lose cops even though there were none around us.

 

Classic garbage p2p online.

A follow up to my previous B&M regarding  hunting for action figures. I had 97 of them and couldn't find the 98th. Had two really good maps with pictures of the locations and checked all of them multiple times to no avail. Then last night after coming out of a heist near the prison I went down the road to refill my snacks and the store across from the car shop. I decided to check it again for laughs and what did I find? The 98th action figure plain as day on the bench. In a location I checked at least six times. WTF? I then was able to go get the last two and then get the action figure suit and get the cash bonus. WTF is wrong with this game?

See also their f*cking TSA roleplay when they, over the course of 3 or 4 updates, made the fence round LSIA impenetrable. Movable fences became solid, open ped gates between the sea and nothing got welded shut ffs. Why? WHY?!!!?

I just "Join Quick Job" from the phone in freemode more often than not. 

 

What's worse about getting kicked is that it isn't the noobs doing it (I back out of lobbies full of double digit players .... no challenge) but the higher ranked players in their 2, 3 and 4 hundreds.

 

They seem proud of it too, and will send messages like "Bye bye" and "UR KICKED M8"

I'm so used to getting those, and "u mod?" "money drop?" etc that literally 3 or 4 times recently I've had messages like "can u hack" and ignored them, only to realise they were asking about vault fingerprints

At least you get a race in though, I'm on calling this casino heist and the amount of times I'm kicked when being pulled in is unreal. 

 

Hosts seem to be getting in the 3 others then picking the lowest ranks as I believe they think I'll ask for more of a cut, lol. I don't care about the money so just ready up asap, but when I do get into one, it's always the low rank not readying up as they need more money so hold out for more pie.

 

I'm lucky if I get to attempt the actual heist about 1 in 10 tries. Crazy!

Lol, been there with the hacking part too!! Often I'll say I'll hack and I assume because they haven't done it before, they don't know there's hacking and think I'm offering to cheat the heist for 'em or something, lol. One chap/lass said they're reporting me to Sony for offering hacks. Jokers!

The sewers seem be harder to lose the cops in with each passing week...given they’ve stopped you calling Lester in most of the preps and made losing the cops not work very well in the Terrabyte too now it’s very annoying.

 

Its as if their priority is slowing us down at all costs...disable a legit function and make cops see you underground seems reasonable to them I guess...they could have made the cops come down and find you but that would have been too much effort...just cheat instead eh Rockstar

I haven’t tried to race this week and never do...I used to do it exclusively on the 360

Because I don't grind or run any of the businesses, Stunt Races have been my bread and butter, especially on bonus weeks.

 

I'm just finding the player base is getting ever more disinclined to play anything. They don't want you in their races, they don't want you to take their Business Battle boxes, they don't want you to steal their Haulage trailer or defend their Torched crates. They don't want you anywhere near them. Nobody ever approaches me.

 

I pretty much leave deliveries alone. As an exception, I used to steal CEO cars but I have even stopped doing that, because it's no real sport to rob a rank 26 player of his car. Way too easy.

 

So as it is, I'm wandering around and wondering just what to do in this game sometimes lol
