Big con and sneaky should autofail upon detection

One of the nice hidden upsides of playing on Hard. Faster to restart, heh.

Although it would suck if you'd get detected right before exiting the casino and getting a mission fail screen. Heist is nice enough to give us a checkpoint after looting the vault.

Failing Gruppe6 approach befor eeven entering the vault should result in a cutscene tha tplays immediately after detection which consists of Lester blasting through a wall and yelling at the players and calling them absolute idiots.

Well, you see, that's what this heist was all about, a dynamic environment where you get to keep going if you mess something up... Of course, all it was was a sugarcoated way of the heist not failing if you fuсked up.

gruppe sechs might be viable on the way in but getting out undetected with randoms might be difficult

I did Grupp Sechs with randos but took only one at once(Artwork, Cash, Artwork, Artwork). It went pretty well compared to trying Agressive with full team of randos reinforced-armor cladded, equiped with Combat MG. During my attempts in Agressive, randos systematically f*cked up with friendly fire or not understanding concepts as vanguard, rearguard, taking cover, following me because the getaway cars spawned 1 km away. 2 teams they almost made me cry 😕

But he proved my point, you're a f*cking pussy if you drive one.

Then I guess I'll keep being a fracking pussy, because I like to drive with a Nightshark! 😂

P.S.

Can you at least back up your statement with a serious argument or is it one of those moments where some people call others in such words only because these others are using a vehicle, which some people don't like?! 🙄

By the way it looks like my arcade isn't producing any income since the day when I finally got all arcade games. They really should fix their game, that is if they want me and other players to play their game, because I'm pretty sure it's just a matter of time when GTA:O will lose a very noticeable amount of players! After all even the most patient and understanding players have their limits.

Can we kill Simeon yet? Everytime I drive near his scamshop he sends me a text "Hey, you owe me a favor."
I don't owe you anything but maybe a nose job. With a bat.

Also, side note, it's kind of sad that a minivan has better climbing abilities than cars with many times its horsepower and torque just because it's all wheel and not rear. ❤️ my Benny's Minivan offroader.

YO. These f*cking dealers are bullsh*t sometimes. I can make steady cash with blackjack, but I just got oof'd by three dealer blackjacks in a row! Consume my anal cavity.
Make that five. In a row. 4 black jacks, and a 20 on my bust by one, of which there were FOUR ten values dropped in a row. I know there's nearly a 1 in 4 chance of a ten value card, but fml.

Wastelander (Suzuki)

It's a weekday, which means it's a schoolday. So can someone explain to me why all of the kiddies seem to be online and doing the damn Casino Heist atm?

First on call of the morning, guy did literally none of the "Optional Setups" and decided to go the Maintenance Crew route, this would have been find had we been able to actually get into the Casino and grab our hidden weapons for when things went south, but instead as soon as we park, Dipsh*t Dreadlocks Bro (Way to live the stereotype people.) instantly spatters the guard's brains all over the wall and does this in front of the CCTV no less, so naturally because we now had to face the Headshot Immune Guards with our Die Hard Pistols, it failed.

Second on call of the morning, Silent and Sneaky, ok might be able to make som....... Oh wait never mind, The Host himself proceeds to YEET the car into the front door of the casino and we all die.

3rd try from just now, same method as #2, but the guy actually knew what he was doing......expect one....one tiny little problem. Did I ever tell you how much I hate Bullet Sponge Enemies in general?

Seriously, why is that setup "Optional" ffs, and I actually know why it is, because this is R* logic, and thus had it been a mandatory setup, it would have been actual full blown Act 3 Finale Enemies anyway. Because everyone loves Artificial Difficulty am I right?

Update: 4th try so far seems to be dead before even leaving the lobby screen, because Black Screen, Y a y. I totally missed these from the OG Heists

Update 2: 5th on call, was going quite well, Bugstar, ofc we still alerted everyone in the vault room, but we actually made into the vault......and then it all went to sh*t, because the Level 86 Brainlet was S p e c i a l. First he suddenly forgets how his brain works and dies.....TWICE. Due to the damned Nerve Gas because he apparently doesn't know how the back out of the hacking screen. We finally get upstairs, Level 86 Brainlet is still Downstairs Hacking the damned Elevator, when he finally gets upstairs he goes truly full retard and just runs In the complete opposite direction of the team, directly into the Enemies, who are fully geared up because y'know, "Optional Setup", and he dies, restart, OH BOY WE JUST LOST OUR CARBINE RIFLES THIS TIME AND ARE STUCK WITH THE SH*TTY PISTOLS. And as soon as we open the staircase door, the guy hacking it dies alongside the Level 86 Brainlet that decided the best Idea was to stand directly in front of the door.

Unlikely with how R* advertised the heist as "adaptive" and changing.

Even if the heist autofailed I feel like a lot of people aren't going to use their brains either way.

It is adaptive but utterly and completely pointless to get detected and carry on with the heist after detection

It would be much more fun to try to carry noobs through the heist silently rather than having to painfully watch the randoms go guns blazing

Are video games too complex for the common people nowadays? Like how much do we need to dumb them down before the average random can play them without f*cking up? I mean it seems like written instructions don't work not all players are literate

spoken instructions from Lester aren't working either? Is this the peak of human evolution now? We evolved to make a world catered to our needs where people can "entertain" themselves by failing to follow simple instructions?

I entirely agree with this and I try to pick wheels that look good with my car and fit it, as well as trying to pick both unique and tasteful colors.
But if that vehicle has open wheels and I can see the tread, I'm probably putting the new offroads on it until we get a better option. Those mismounted treads drive me up a f*cking WALL. The only exceptions are vehicles I acquire for my "crew" work, which will probably have either steelies or offroad milspec becaue theyr'e supposed to be PMC vehicles.

What drives me up an even higher wall is walking into a garage full of modded cars and they slapped Benny's rims on EVERYTHING. x80 with benny rims. You have access to open wheel racing slicks and you put them on a f*cking BRAWLER.

I have never even thought of putting benny rims on any of my cars even the ones I have bought from bennys, I want my cars to look admirable not some random piece of scrapyard junk.

Players are so misguided that they have literally no indication of what kind of rims to put on a patent car.

Martin does the same thing with those Dispatch missions if you drive past the one of the locations. Simeon in general just pisses me the f uck off. This bald c*nt tells from time to time that I should stop slacking and do him favours, even though I've done every single thing this prick has to offer like a hundred times. So what favours?

It's extremely infuriating how contacts persist on nagging you about things you've already done a septillion times. It seems like this game is revolved around annoying the ever living sh*t out of you.

Casino heist requires a reliable partner to be fun and a viable money making method

no reliable partner? no money and no fun

so the content is unplayable if you don't have a partner

finding one is easy? nope

I asked around on a GTA discord for someone who's experienced and done silent and sneaky undetected before --> I got DMs from people and when I asked if they've done it undetected they answer no

and then I found a guy who could do it but his mic was so crappy that listening to him was about as enjoyable as someone shooting a machine gun full auto right next to your ear

+ you want your partner to be someone who you can casually talk with when prepping and doing other stuff

bad update because the content is nigh unplayable without 24/7 access to reliable players?

sometimes you just wish that you could clone yourself. If you want it done well, do it yourself. Want it done well but it takes more than one person to do it? you're f*cked

And this is exactly why the Mk2 is too OP, and therefore is a problem. This is why we complain. This, ladies and gentleman, is some straight up bullsh*t right here. I was off radar trying to blow up some choppers at the airport for the free mode event. I see an Mk2 vermin ahead of me, but I was too late. By the time I pressed 🔺 to get out of the car, the f ucker had already locked onto me. And by the time I even fully got out of the damn car, he had already pressed fire and the rocket was coming towards my car. My car explodes, which causes an NPC car to explode, which then kills me. I got taken out before I could even react and fire a single f ucking bullet.

This thing requires NO skill to use, and that's why it's so OP. The game does most of the work for you by snapping on the target, and all you have to do is press one button, not to mention its extremely good tracking. Getting kills on this thing is just effortless. Either remove this deformity, or disable the stupid nonsensical lock-on on non-weaponised vehicles to prevent these desperate dicktards from getting cheap easy kills. All I ever see is Mk2s take out people driving in their non-weaponized cars. The worst part is that these scrubs actually think it makes them good at the game, which is just plain sad.

F uck you, Cuntstar, you greedy money-hungry pieces of dirt.

I, yet again, must come to complain about something that has only recently started to bother me, but has come to bother me simply because of my new favorite past-time in GTA. Urban Stunting and Trials riding.

I am no elite stunter. I do not have the patience to spend hours going for that single, thread the needle, launch across the city to land through the donut. Nor am I capable of mastering elegant lines through the parks and across the roof tops. I am simply a man on his Manchez, trying his best to make the Manchez go places it's never been before.

Why, Rockstar? Why? Why must I be forced to dismount if my bike exceeds a certain angle and makes contact with a solid object? Mid flip and your wheel daintily touches a light pole? Bail. Going up a hill at high speed, pulling back to clip off the lip at the top and exceed your angle? Bail. Halfway through a carefully orchestrated flip, designed to touch the underside of a bridge before finishing the flip in a stunt that requires precise throttle and speed control as well as aim? Bail.
Big sad.

I fully agree with everything you say, though I would also say don't bother trying to get out of the car. Just EWO.

I don't trust the physics and mechanics in this game to get me out of harms way.

If EWO is available, f*ck it, I'm using it. Its a feature of the game.

Of course, everyone will say 'yOu EwO kD wArRiOr'

Is it really so difficult to design a stealth mission? Why can't Rockstar get this right?

First time doing the Zancudo area prep for infiltration suits. Weird that I could pass the guy telling me to turn around without getting a wanted level (don't have a hangar on this platform yet) and just drive up to a wall allowing me to climb up and scope out the area.

At first glance it seems impossible to do without getting spotted. Judging by the patrol I'd have 12 seconds total to drop down (if unnoticed), hack the panel and walk inside for cover. But even then there'd be no way out.

So I test the waters. I shoot a guy in the tower - no alarm goes off. Good. Take my sweet time analysing the place and clearing mercs around the perimeter. Until there's just that one patrolling guy left with a bunch of dudes clumped around him.

I notice one fella is standing behind a container and isn't in sight of the others because of it. Take him out. One second later the two guys around the corner spot me and it all goes to crap. Bad enough that you have to deal with the magic alarm that noone actually set off (as is perfect and established videogame logic) but there's also the army to help them out.

Quick as I can, I run back over to my car on the other side of the wall. Get in, eat some snacks and drive around the block to get to the place. Just in time I manage to complete the hack (with those white bars moving vertically) in one attempt. When I exit the hacking screen, I notice an enemy blip behind me. I turn to make sure I don't get shot in the back. Hello Rhino tank.

Respawn on the beach on the north side. And even though GTA USED to clear your wanted level upon death, they're still after me. Nice. Thankfully I can actually call Lester to clear my stars. But now since I took too long, a short timer sets in. Spawn a VIP Buzzard, fly over while getting shot to grab ONE suit and bring it back to the arcade but there's no time for the second one. Whoohoo!

Reckon it's obvious what I'm annoyed about. All the aforementioned things. Terrible mission design. And just so this is also clear because I sort of implied a reference to it: the no-kill stealth missions? What the hell is up with that?

Now I know, ofcourse. But please just explicitly tell your players that they are not allowed to kill anyone in missions where it will automatically trigger the alert.

Lastly: how the hell are you supposed to do the redneck party prep without killing everyone? I don't know.

Good day, fellow sufferers.

EDIT: So ofcourse now I'll (if I'm aware of all of the variations) try to determine which of these missions I can do with brute force, losing the cops and then collecting the items and just stick to that. Stealth is fun when it works but that one was just a massive waste of time.

EDIT 2: Retried the mission. Got the Humane Labs variant. Triggered the alarm quite early, dropped down to clear the enemies (pick-up gunners and such) and hack the lock-up. No problem, grab a suit, then an Insurgent and I head to the parking lot to collect my Buzzard. My wanted stars start flashing. Not a single enemy on the minimap and I lose the wanted level right there. What? I mean, I'll take it. But what?
