I'll be logging in for my new car after today, but after that.... then what?

 

I'm so bored of the delivery guy simulator routine. I bought the Zion Classic - a car I was really excited for - and I haven't even come back to use it, so dripfeed clearly doesn't keep me playing the game. RDO's recent addition of roles are a much better system for sustained play in my opinion and I hope R* go with a model similar to that in future GTA titles.

 

This game is way too focused on the existing businesses and a single way to play. Grand Theft Move Your Cargo For A Pittance And Get Stressed to F*ck While Doing It

Even with all the double money sales this week i just cant bring myself to play this game.

Every sell mission is up and down those same roads. Long, dull, repetitive drives. Nothing to do, just sit on your chair and hold drive.

Every single sell mission is dull, uninspired, long, tedious.

How the f*ck can a major games studio make content so ridiculously BORING?

 

Why would they not have twenty sales missions per place? Why not alternate them every month? Why force players to drive those f*cking roads over and over and OVER???

 

The map design is the worst culprit in this. They made the mountains between the city and the rest of the map to hide how close everything actually is on the map. And that left us with 3 long boring roads to travel over for  any sort of movement between states.

 

And flying? Every flying mission is in a painfully slow vehicle.

 

Roackstar, make fast or difficult sale missions. Make sales missions where we have to fight our way to drop offs. Not tedious drives that literally make players nod off.

 

I've played this game a lot and I would bet that I've drive the road past madrazos and bolingbroke thousands of times. Thousands. I'm sick and tired of the same old sh*t constantly repeated. These is so much of this game that they never utilised or developed. Instead we got lazy programmers doing as little as they could to give us something to play and as much as they could when giving us toys to waste money on.

Lower level players getting butt over having their bounty collected, its getting real old,   level 87 had a bounty , I claimed it, he sent the mercenaries after, when that didnt work, he sent a mugger, after I killed the mugger , he put a bounty on me, then of course he left right after that.

Is it really that f*cking hard to fix the glitch that causes your custom weapon loadout to disappear when you renovate ANY of your businesses?

Why does the custom weapon loadout work as intended for most weapons in the game except the Micro Uzi? That's the damn gun I want to avoid picking up, too bad it doesn't get removed from your inventory automatically like LITERALLY EVERY OTHER WEAPON.

I was taking my new Weeny Taxi to LSC and I happened to have followed a player there who was going to LSC (for whatever reason) he stops short of the entrance blocking anyway to get inside, then he has a sticky in he's hand, attempts to them out the window at my vehicle, all 3 attempts miss & fail, The 4th time he attempts to do so I'm already out of my car and have an assault rifle on hand, I end up getting the sticky that was in he's hand blowing up him & he's vehicle. I got charged $9300 for he's sh*tty Kurama. 

 

And I wasn't even hostile to start off with, some people can't let others have nice things.

This game is getting stale atm, the only thing that keeps getting me back is the cars, buy the cars drive it for 10 minutes photograph it an then off, hmm, they need to find some new kikes to work on this game

He just wanted to be left alone because I have been there doing my own thing and had players follow after me... And due to all griefers and ass-hats you get paranoid after a while and starts shooting first and questions later....

I just signs in once a week to do the RC time trial... What killed my interest in the biz of various kinds the same reasons as you state and that your blip of products is shown all over the map like a bell ringing for dinner....

As much as I love the look of the homing launcher(FIM-92 Stinger), and the rpg, and I would not mind having the 9K32 Strela-2 which is a Russian surface to air missile launcher I have to say I would not mind them removing all launchers from the game...........

Or and this is a big flipping or, maybe lower the ammo to to 2 or 3 rounds and remove the option to buy more ammo from the menu.

 

I'm just sick of every swinging dick and his grandmother using one for every little thing..

They see one truck blocking a C-130 and they blow it up, they see one guy next to the truck with our crates inside they blow it up...for the love of money I hope they don't put it in the next game but they prolly will cause dumb sh*ts need it.

Looks like I'm on an enforced break for two days. A few Oppressor battles in quick succession had rendered me as a Dodgy Player. I chased one guy who was trying to deliver his gold, and as I launched missiles at his OP2, he delivered the gold, meaning that I hit him after the job had already ended. That tipped me into Bad Sport.

 

I can't be arsed with that, so it's going off for a bit again.

Process pausing and firewall port blocking for one, I guess.

 

Otherwise friend and crew sessions might work as well, although you can't sell in those.

I've noticed Rockstar has been quite harsh on RP and hesitant to allow players to rack up RP.

 

They've also stopped providing double RP on double special cargo.

Today spun the wheel and got another useless thing, guess what was so close?! Yeah, you guessed it right! Podium vehicle! Then 5 times, trying to join public session, I got there has been an error joining a session please return to GTA V! 5 TIMES!!!!  Even when other businesses had bonuses I didn't get that error so often in one day! After that out of nowhere npc crashed in me while I was trying to deliver a car to a drop-off point! Oh, and the bonuses for I/E?! Those bonuses are a joke, because dealer costs also have been increased, making those bonuses look ridiculous! On top of it all there are npc's with 800% accuracy. This game is literally yelling we want your money, which is why it isn't fun anymore. And don't even try to tell me that if I don't like grinding then I should buy shark cards! 

 

This company is shooting themselves in the foot and it looks like that either they don't realize it or they simply don't care as long as they get $$$$$!

I am sick and tired of the NPC vehicles out there, constantly changing into my lane and speeding up at intersections. The residents of San Andreas need to stop trying to claim insurance by causing accidents.

 

When I am in my Duke O' Death I welcome this however because I just plow right through them hehe.

Cough....solo session...cough! 

 

I mean seriously! It's the only way how I can do something like import/export, but even in a solo session with a strict NAT type I'm not 100% safe. Players, including modders, still can join me.

The I/E costs are increased because if they weren't then the profit would be more than the 50% bonus that is intended.

 

Why'd they have to make getting on the back of the Halftrack so janky. My guy's being shot at and he just runs around it, slams his face into it, then decides to get in the driver seat. All he had to do was climb on the truck. Not only that but when he's already on the truck he gets off it to get in the front!

Reading through all this, and everyone here bitching and moaning has a valid point pretty much, it just reinforces my feeling that GTAO is becoming very much a retro game. An ageing hipster, if you were to view the game as that, can only mask their decay and irrelevance for so long.

 

It's still unique, it's still loved unconditionally by its hundreds of thousands of gamers, but it is country miles behind any serious game that we would expect to see released at the moment.

Once I was sitting still in a vehicle behind the white bar at an intersection depositing my cash after doing a contact mission playlist when a random kangpae driver rammed me from behind, then proceeded to shoot me to death before I could exit the phone to shoot back. Quite literally doing nothing but minding my own business.

Now every time I hear one nearby I let loose a frenzy of missiles into all traffic. f*ck you assholes, you all die now!
