Finally played a few of these and I already wanna give up on these. Zancudo was total ass, no cover, basically a killbox. Silo facility, I thought juggernauts replaced the choppers at rounds 4, 7, and 10. But guessed what rushed me in a halfway and killed me in about 1 second at wave 5? Icing on the cake? They aren't even labeled like choppers, so you pretty much don't know he's there until you see him.

 

These jobs are just sad, I cant believe how bad these are.

They have different blips on your minimap.

Having played all survivals now., i can confidently say that r* doesnt know what pve is. These are all sh*t. Nowhere to go, boxed in areas, npcs spawning everywhere, and spawning in DROVES. You never delt with 50 npcs, choppers and a juggernaut in a small wooded area, but that's where we're at now. 

 

I know this isnt a big deal to most people, but this was literally the only thing I did in this game and now its ruined. I'm very disappointed.

I agree 100%.  From what I’ve seen we might as well be in the middle of an empty field. Seems the creativity has left that room.  So many areas with so much potential the only hope for this game mode is the players using the creator, obviously the only thing R* can come up with is sh*t pvp advisory modes. Sadly I feel this will be more forgotten content when the x2 $$ goes away.

Still having issues with missions. Last night tried 4 or 5 heist missions and every time someone disconnected within the first couple of minutes.

New survivals are gonna be dead content as soon as double money ends

PVE f*cking sucks in this game, enemies are way too bullet spongy, aim bots and you're over-reliant on snacks and body armor which are inconveniently hidden behind tons of f*cking useless menus instead of being hotkeyable like they should be in any half-decent pve game

Just watch the amount of limitations and restrictions on the survival creator once it comes out.

Thats something that I’ve thought about, R* can’t have the player base creating better content than they can.  We have seen members here come up with game modes, content ideas within minutes on this forum.  R* doesn’t want the player base showing them up and that could be the end of this game mode just like the others that are forgotten after x2$$ expires.  We will all see what happens with these but I feel just like the last few big updates they will fade away due to a time investment/reward aspect or just a simple been there done that attitude.

I'm sick of having cups, cans, full ash trays when I buy a new car...

There's no way to get rid of it unless you buy another car and hope your lucky.

When I was trying them all out solo, they weren't really spongey, but there was just a small army thrown at you. You pop out to fire at one guy, there's usually a few somewhere else picking you off. Waves went from 10, 15 to 50 guys and a chopper within minutes. Its like they were sitting in a room wondering how they'd make these new maps different and they just said "f*ck it, just double the npcs and throw in a juggernaught or two"

God how the flip do you flip up making a survival........

These things are just crap and the sad part is, the areas they picked were pretty nice but ruined by stupid a×$ R*.

R* didn’t f*ck up, they did this deliberately to frustrate the players that had/have the skills to beat this mode solo. Hence the “no cover” on most of these new maps.  Sad part is most 10 year olds have more imagination and creativity than R* does nowadays.  In a short time we will see if these new maps stand alone or fade away like all the other modes we’ve been given the last couple years that an extreme few play, even when it’s x2$$.

They are going to fade.....

No point in playing them after x2 like all the other stupid crap.

In a way I agree, I think it’s all goin to come down to what freedoms we have with the creator. If there still here in a couple weeks ok, if there not oh well it’s just more wasted time and game space. If the modes are fun then they’ll stand without x2$$ but from what I’ve seen so far your right, they’ll fade like a bad dream.

Well, players could easily create a survival right next to a wallbreach. Rockstar may have taken that into consideration and could possibly decide to implement limitations and restrictions on the creator as a result. They could easily just fix the wallbreaches, but then again, this is Rockstar we're talking about. Since wallbreaches don't affect shark card sales, they don't see any reason to fix them, so they'd rather add limitations on the survival creator instead. It's expected from a company like Rockstar.

@Arrows to Athens  true. Or they could just make those areas off limits. They, just like most of us know where these wall breaches are, they’ve fixed em before and can do it again if they wanted to.  Creator limits are what’s going to make or break this mode.  Everything to make a awesome game mode is already in game, it’s up to R* to let us utilize what’s there, you can’t expect someone to build a kick ass house when daddy locks the tool box.

As much of a sh*tshow PC tends to be, I've seen a massive influx of toxic players and of the "tryhard" kind, lately. In most cases my sessions were usually, relatively average - with the occasional warzone lobby. Not now, though...every single session I step foot in is full of them.

 

I've seen the best of the playerbase here on the forums, but the worst form you could possibly encounter through the actual game.

No. R* thrives on the toxic player base and moreover the unbalanced pvp.  If R* wanted it changed they wouldn’t have turned the game in the direction they did. It’s the main reason solo public is a thing in this game, truth is players glitch to play the game legit w/o the toxicity while others glitch to get the $$ to play toxic.

since day one, i still dislike the idea of seeing everyone on the map, having this feels more like a chore than an open world experience. this is probably the worst thing in gtaO.
