I can beat Vagners around Vespucci in my D8. You just have to turn into corners earlier with it and “pump” the brakes and throttle buttons. It’s like the GTO, once you get used to what it does, you can get a lot out of it, but most players just give up.

I emailed rockstar support about my Office still being “An Organisation” when I register as a ceo even though when I bought it I named it Unicorns Inc and how on the renovation page it has “An Organisation” and I can’t change it without it charging $250,000 but in my office it says “Unicorn Inc” so I sent it with detailed screenshots explaining what was wrong and they replied with “hi the name change for an Organisation will charge you $250,000 because that’s how the game was designed” you didn’t even read my problem properly but ok

Lord above. I just got raided AGAIN with 2 bars of product. 

I know I can restart to stop it but I don’t see the point cos every time I register at least one of my businesses is being raided so I’d spend more time quitting than playing. 

 

I’m also getting “saving failed” so I probably won’t either bother selling tonight.

If you'd like to lower the odds of a raid happening you can wait until you're inside a loadable interior before selecting "register as ceo/mc president". Your businesses should keep producing even if you're not registered as an MC president and you won't get random raids (unless you register while outside) or the daily fees. It's what I do and it works well for me. However if you're doing MC contracts while having your businesses run in the background this tactic won't work for you.

I do biker contracts as well lol

 

anyway I decided to risk selling and got TWO post op vans for $24k worth of product which I didn’t even think was possible but ok

managed to do it with ONE minute to spare and got $37,500k. Woo. 

Then the second it finished, LJT didn’t even make the call to say the funds had been transferred and my coke business was being raided as well lmfao 

 

thats 3 raids today. 2 within the past hour. 

All with 2 bars or less of product.

during the last event i must have been raided quite a few times, the worst time i was raided was while i was doing a couple of upgrades to a nightshark (i eventually sold it), i was in the central lsc no more then 30 secs.

when the upgrade menu closed on me and i exited the lsc leaving me thinking "wtf just happened?".

then i got the message telling me i was being raided (again), the mc business that was being raided was in grapeseed leaving me no time to call for my buzzard so i floored my nightshark and hit the freeway at top speed.

And that's why I don't do MC stuff any more.

The raids have to go, and the payouts aren't worth the misery of the sell missions.

It's just stupid design all around.

I gave up on all of the MC stuff long ago; it just became a dull headache after awhile. My MC businesses exist only to assist production within the nightclub; aside from that, they're useless and I have no interest in ever stocking them again. Some of the MC contract missions are ok, but I only do them every now and then when they're x2; the last time we had the promo was the last time I registered as MC President and visited the clubhouse.

 

I've been pretty fortunate when it comes to raids, but almost immediately after I had filled a medium crate warehouse last week, I received the dreaded call. I couldn't have got over there any faster than I did and still lost two crates, which is not too bad; just highly annoying and a waste of time. I hate to think of what would have happened though if I were in a slower vehicle on the other side of town.

I can only do so many of the sales before the loss of interest starts to kick in and I start wondering why am I still doing these? Doesn't help that I always seem to get the postal van sale regardless of the business. I got into the habit of doing 80% of the sale then torching the damn things since it looked like I was still getting full payment for the sale. Found out later that wasn't the case but oh well it was close enough. Now if I see "enter a van" or "enter a truck" I just disconnect my internet and try again.

I definitely understand; when you keep getting forced into using Post OP vans or something just as slow, it becomes too much after awhile and you're just willing to accept whatever to get it over and done with. The last time I subjected myself to an MC selling mission, I felt like I was going to break my controller driving up Vinewood Hills in the Post OP van. Never again!

 

Yea though, all of it can start to wear you down after awhile; I OD'd on crates this past week, but I definitely reached a personal limit and likely won't bother with them, even very casually like I often used to do, for a very long time. That was the first warehouse raid I recall having in a long time, if ever. Overall, they seem far less frequent than MC business raids, but for as much time and effort it takes to fill them, it's still a bit of kick in the face when it happens or anything goes wrong. In addition, R* wants us to make these sales in populated lobbies; haha, yea, no, never; I wouldn't be caught dead ever risking that!

I would make the drops in the lower lying areas and avoid drops in the hills if I could. Usually at least four of the five drops per van would be in the city so following my 80% rule I could chunk the van into something explosive or introduce it to my Rhino and forget about the drop off that windy steep road.

Oh yes those marathon crate fetch sessions definitely test your patience to put up with how tedious certain missions are. *looks at the three individual crate pick ups in the ocean and the Merryweather stole your crates mission* I never did them like most people do however in that I always drove to wherever the crate pick ups were, unless it was off shore or I had to chase helicopters. Then it was off to a Pegasus helipad to pick up my Savage since I didn't own a Buzzard until it was a free to buy special last year. The raids suck and defeat the purpose of bothering with security upgrades, though I think about all my businesses have them anyway. And I won't do sales in populated public sessions either. Especially not with all the shenanigans going on with those lately.

I have to come clean; when doing most of my crate runs this past week, I, ehm, primarily used that one vehicle that incites pure rage and hatred within the hearts of many. Yea, that one; plus the Buzzard as well! Ideally, if ever given a choice, I prefer to drive an actual car, but omg, when you have to make three separate trips to pick up each crate, it eats up so much time, effort, and even your sanity. The three crate pick up in the ocean is indeed the worst and it seems that whenever I take the Buzzard out there, I usually end up having to call Merryweather for a lift back or give up and switch sessions out of frustration. So, I guess that one vehicle does have a purpose, but I'd still gladly vote in favour of a heavy nerf; for the sake of the rational members of the community and the concept of reality itself!

I've filled up 10 large warehouses twice now in anticipation of a bonus week, and I can tell you that using "it which shall not be named" will save you an enormous amount of time during the course of that crate filling period compared to anything else.

My old first character only used the Buzzard until the MkII was on sale while my new main character (No2) used the hover bike, and you shave off around 30 seconds on average using the TByte vs the CEO office, and save the time that the faster vehicle beats the slower ones by.

When you're doing at least 37 crate runs per warehouse, that's 370 runs minimum! If you're saving between 30 seconds to a minute or more per run, that's a LOT of time saved in the big picture, and I'm just trying to get it over with as soon as possible to get on to fun things while we wait for a 2X week.

 

There have been some very interesting proposals for a nerf, probably the best being that they make it no longer be able lock on to players, only NPCs.

That would require much more skill to use to be a pest, so most of them couldn't do it.

 

I'd still use it even if they took the weapons off of it altogether, which would be my vote for a nerf, leave the countermeasures.

Then it would be a true grinding/transport vehicle, which is the only reason I own it.

Oh I only do one crate at a time cos as I’ve said before I don’t mind the grind plus it works out cheaper that way lmao

 

yeah I don’t mind the mc businesses cos I like to do it all and I don’t mind post op vans cos I usually only get one cos I sell low due to being a solo player but the raids are definitely getting annoying. I was reading an old Reddit post about the algorithms and you didn’t used to get raided until you had about $60k worth of stock so they’ve definitely changed that. Hopefully someone can tell us the new algorithms 

 

Anyway I’ll be trying to sell some more stock today so we’ll see if I get raided again

Anyone get screwed over before while doing a nightclub delivering supply goods and when you drop the supplies at some location, the supplies drop underneath your vehicle and you're stuck. Then on top of that, NPCs come to shoot your vehicle up and you're forced to leave session O_O I f'n hate when this happens.

I "accidentally" drove one of the Trash Trucks during the Biker Sell off a cliff and it landed in a tree in someones garden. Not a chance in anything of getting it out, blasted it out of the tree with the UnA and then over the property wall and carried onto the sale.

To each their own, I wouldn't get that thing even if it was a free to buy special. I found that mixing up what vehicles I drove made the trips back and forth somewhat less tedious as I got to use nearly all my personal vehicles. That and by the time I got back to the office the cool down timer would be just about over. Agreed about the off shore pick up mission, I've sunk more Savages and accidentally blown up so many crates because I got too happy with the cannon than I'd like to admit. But I don't doubt that eternally damned floating thing can be very useful for things that aren't just being a pest. Of course given the choice I'd say eradicate that thing but I suppose it has it's good uses.
