I've gotten people yell modder at me just because of it.

People are so quick to throw the "M" word around. It's ridiculous!

I've gotten called a modder for being off radar and using the explosive sniper. Just cause you didn't know these things existed in the game doesn't mean I'm cheating.

That too except the one dude said I spawned a rail gun on the game and reported me to rockstar dude even sent me a screen shot of what he wrote on the "other" option that's under the report screen xD

This error when trying to join a lobby nonsense needs to be fixed. It's annoying enough that it happens once every time I join GTAO, but it happened 3 times last night.

Really? That's not a very high level...

I'm level 620 and nobody seems to mind.

To be fair, we could be level 6 out there with how some take a loss, lol. (I mean a race/DM or something, not cargo - Not going there, lol).

Kids I can accept are gonna be far worse at losing mostly, they're kids. But they usually copy the trends in how to deal with it - More forgivable, IMHO. (Not to go too far into that side of life, lol. It's only natural for various reasons).

But if you win any mode, it's a go-to for some.

'I didn't lose, you obviously cheated. I win'

*kicked from next job/round*

All too often. Lag don't help either as it can look bad if it affects a game mode, leading to more crap.

The daft side to gaming, lol. Although we're all gamers and probably all taken a L badly, certainly in our younger years. As a kid, there was no online console stuff for me,

WWF/Italia 90 etc.

So we'd actually start to scrap if our mates beat us or did try a cheeky cheat, lol. Can't tell ya how many times one of us got sent home by the others parents for the night. Those were the days. Swearing to never play again, only to knock by a day later 'you coming out 'n go town get a new game from the video shop'

Classic times indeed!

I would've been a legit 1000 by now if I had bought my PS4 pro before the transfer was removed. I was a legit level 600 on old gen.

When I bought the game on PS4 I had to start all over again from level 1 on a new account.

I've had my online account since last gen back in 2012 but got GTA in 2014, transferred to PS4 a year later and was level 122 by that point and now I'm on level 673 almost 674.. Legit

Why does it feel like they intentionally coded GTA Today II in a sucha way to guarantee that the Cargobob will always drop the second Ellie*?

I've played the mission a dozen times so far and every time the Cargobob drops the second Ellie* when I enter Terminal, every single time & just that particular Ellie.

This has happened to me before and what happened is that the diamond glitched inside the wall.

Because, rockstar encourage them to be with all the guns and griefing vehicles they provide.. and more importantly they have approved sanctioned griefing which is when they mark you on the map and announces to everyone that you're doing a sale for all the tryhards and griefers to lick their lips like is meal time.

True. I basically try to find a Solo Public Lobby or I just go Invite Only these days, I can't be bothered to deal with it. Occasionally I drop in to a Public session just to see, and it's always cancer.

Yeah when I'm doing sales I just lower my mtu settings to land in empty lobbies. I also help others sell cargo when I'm on a public one. I just can't risk it anymore lol

GTA Online would be way more fun if people just helped each other out more. Of course most people are dicks when given the tools, so well done Rockstar.

Well in honest truth this is what GTA is about. Is all about the murder and Carnage. I don't mind a gun fight if I'm not doing anything but where I draw the line is when they decide to come for me and the cargo/product while I'm busy moving it. If they don't come directly for you then they'll going to where the rest of the cargo is at to blow it up. When that happened I used to raise hell in retaliation now I simply just close the application because I can't be bothered with the amount of EWO tryhards that exists today in the game. Even in mtu lobbies one of them is bound to join so there's really no escaping those guys at all.

Yeah, true. That's honestly why I don't play GTA Online as much as I used to do. It's just not really the game for me anymore. I enjoy it in small bursts. I found it more fun at Launch when everyone was figuring it out, and there was less killing. It just seems ridiculous how many things are designed to cause chaos now, public lobbies are horrible.

I have the same stance as you. I'll fight someone if I'm not doing anything, but I hate people that chase you down whilst delivering cargo. I find those players cowardly as they know you're in no position to fight back properly.

I would actually like them to allow us to sell in private lobbies. Then you could add friends and randoms that wants to do sales in peace and make a peaceful lobby where everyone just help each other without having to worry about their product being blown up. Unfortunately that won't happen since they want you to become frustrated enough to give up on grinding and give in into buying their shark cards as an alternative way to make cash. As much people will deny it shark cards is a priority for them due to being a product that they can profit of. I used to play this game a lot. Now I probably log in about 3 times a week for about an hour before I get flabbergasted and go play something else.

Same here about how i played it all the time but now meh once and awhile with how freeroam has been morphed into chaos and no private. It'd actually be more fun with coop oriented ideas even. Amazing these companies think this tactic will work when most people just leave this stuff. As examples of bad business ideas for the broader audience. Anthem no loot because they are worried players will leave if they actually succeed so they think player will stay playing or spend money if they get less rewards. Gears 4 lock all skill cards behind RNG boxes. Cards are locked unless you magically get the card to be able to use it which can be never so they want you to buy loot boxes more, a lot left the franchise after that. Destiny2 ugh. Just these 3 games including GTA remind me mostly of how bad it can be.

GTAV frustrate player enough and they'll buy a shark card, they think people will just open their wallets (worked maybe at the beginning), the whales do most move on to better games. Hope these companies one day realize that pleasing fans are important not preying on them for all money. Now when I realize this stuff in new games I barely play'em. Just starts reminding me of every game I played with these frustrations ruined, they're all connected. But hey they have taught us a lot in how it all works so we thank them I guess too. It is smart until it comes to the surface, I think we all played GTAV more than the creators now we are aware.

Joined random repo mission invite from Simeon and I get thrown into a mission lobby 3 noobs and the mission being on easy

I wonder how much money has been "lost" by the players simply by playing on easier difficulties and if R* has any statistics on it

I bet the r* employees are laughing their asses off and thinking that the mission difficulties were one of the most genius scams ever implement just because even in 2019 idiots still fall for it and play missions on easier difficulties and get paid less

I'm absolutely shocked that there are a select group of people that actually play on easy in 2019.

There's nothing that triggers me more when the Host doesn't put it on Hard difficulty in 2019. I swear they do it purposefully to troll. Hard isn't even difficult, I mean the game aims for you if you play on Auto Aim which majority do.

r* put the easier difficulties just to troll people. They knew that it would be painfully obvious to quickly figure out that hard is the most effective way to play but majority of the dumbass player base wouldn't still f*cking figure it out/care about it

Speaking of Missions, I'm so f*cking sick of this AFK trend these days. You always have those people not pulling their weight or stalling time just to farm cash. IT'S BORING. I really don't understand why they play. I do the Missions to play the game, and I hate spectating that one guy not finishing the f*cking objective.

I started on normal in PS3 by the time I hit level 40 which btw during early stages of GTA O the ak was unlocked around that level  I switched to hard. When I lost my account because I was too late to transfer I played on hard from level 3 (since I had to start over) and it helped that the dlc carbine was not level locked so I enjoyed it. I'm some one who takes cover and don't rush into missions. So to me playing hard was basically easy. Plus I was already used to it from my old gen days.

Low rank players hosting stunt races really tits me off.

You can almost guarantee things like;

  • Seven laps of a long circuit like Spinner in the non-custom slow cars with catch-up and slipstream on.
  • 45 degrees, Big M or Plummet I / II (the lack of bends seems to appeal to them)
  • Launching the race with only four players in the lobby, whilst setting the game to “destroy last place every 15 seconds” or worse, first person lock.

Only players rank 300 or above should be allowed to host races.

As annoying as they are, I'd rather have them AFK than have them sabotage the mission with their trollish behavior or blatant stupidity. At the end of the day, their presence just adds more the pay.

However, in missions where teamwork is required (such as in time-based missions or missions where all players are required to get to a destination), then it gets frustrating.

It's 2019 and people on reddit are still asking:

Does turbo tuning after having max acceleration from engine upgrades do anything?

How the f*ck do you not know this by now?
