I was really happy to get that mission as one of the few sales I managed over Christmas, it's so unusual compared to the others, and it was good to see the salvage barge covered in snow. No problems at all with the visibility, all you need to do is change the viewing angle to see if you're over the barge. I don't know how you can be so far off course that you miss the damn thing entirely.

Also, screw Data Sweep. Especially when the targets are in Blaine County and they're all miles apart from each other and the last one has travelled all the way to Los Santos.

 

If I remember correctly Data Sweep is like Headhunter. You need to be deep into the city before you trigger it and it will always be in the city.

Before I/E update they used to look good, but they added ability to wear them with caps and that screwed their look without caps. Why they had to remove hoods' old "position" when they could just add another one for caps?

Why do hoods not pop back up when exiting vehicles? Ruins certain looks of mine.

I now thoroughly detest the helicopter opposed crate sell mission.

Sometimes you can beat them with altitude, but I tried to do a full small warehouse (15 crates), managed to get 7 of 10 drops before being annihilated by the f*cking Valkyries.

I had 4! choppers after me, no chance at all, by the 6th drop they had all climbed up to my altitude and I had nowhere to go.

Lost $450,000 in product.

Yeah, Data Sweep isn't even worth it. I must have played Robbery In Progress, Targeted Data, and Diamond Shopping about a hundred times each (probably even more than that) since the After Hours update came out and have only played Data Sweep twice. If the other three missions are on cooldown, I'll do Headhunter instead. I'm really getting tired of missions that send you to the four corners of the map for a literal 30-second confrontation. You spend more time driving/flying with nothing else happening than doing anything else.

While flying, call Merryweather and keep Backup Helicopter option selected and ready. The moment you see an enemy heli spawn, hit enter. MW Backup Heli pretty much instaspawns to the spot and is surprisingly efficient against NPCs. I don't know if it's efficient enough during crate sales, but I guess it's worth trying at least.
