Some players might already have the buried stashes listed in their daily objectives, which means you don't have to go looking for the detector

Use a 'ground' vehicle ie the opmkii because I had the same and couldn't get it to pop while flying.

For f sakes Rockstar...i know that probably playing arcade games is something very niche or that people don't usually do, but c'mon, it's what? 2 or 3 years since LSSS when this game got broke and still no fix after so many DLC's?!

 

1) you can see that the Coin Purse is still broken, despite the fact that i was over 1M points, far more than the requested points to unlock the reward.

 

2) and as a side thing, you can see that maybe R* should also erased the pvp kill count to prevent toxic dialogues in the chat.

Some things I really like about these races: for the land races most are unrestricted and allow you to choose any vehicle from multiple classes. The air races feature the orientation based checkpoints which give them a nice Redbull air racing vibe. There’s a diversity of different races types (lap, point to point, air and sea races). The best thing they could do next is open it up to the community, and not just for races but also DMs, survivals, captures etc). I honestly wasn’t expecting to enjoy these as much as I am so far.

Having a decent GPU like RTX 3080 helps. On Cayo Perico it really is the GPU bottlenecking not the CPU like it is in a full free roam session.

 

I just set like 6 more world records, damn that is nice RP. Jumped from level 922 to 925 in a very short time.

 

Well on my PC its everything but the GPU thats bottlenecking on account that everything but my 1060 and drives is nearly 11 years old.

Granted I run the game with all settings cranked to 100 but if my PC can run an unoptimized Star Citizen Alpha despite having only half the required Ram, I'd expect it to run a (on PC) 7 year old game.

Not to mention that prior to the dlc everything worked fine. Now i got frequent crashes, sh*t not loading in and a metric f*ckton of lagg and stuttering while solo in an invite only freemode session.

This isn't a serious racing sim. Races get pretty boring when one player gets 40+ seconds ahead and the other players can't catch up because they got crashed out at the start. Personally, I prefer races with catchup on because it gives all players a chance and makes it more of a tossup as to who'll win. I've noticed that whenever a host turns off catchup, they also tend to win every single time.

Nah I agree that catchup is stupid. Why should you be punished for doing well? It only really advantages the person in 2nd place who will usually just steal the win from you at the last second solely because of this crutch. Catchup would make sense if it just gave the person in last place a boost instead.
