This exact thing happened to me, too.  I came out of the garage, was standing there and called for my car, then suddenly dropped dead.  No gunfire, no nothing, invite only session.

 

I only play invite only now, with fewer people to grief, the griefers go hog wild if you try doing ANYTHING in open session.

 

I will say, I do appreciate the advice I see here, and do take it into account.  I didn't get the Kosatka and do the related heist, because I've never been able to do ANY heists.  I haven't even been able to do the Fleeca heist, because every single time someone joins, they quit before I can get anything done.  I try at least 3 times a night, never been able to do it.

 

I realize my descriptions might seem like exaggerations, but generally speaking, they're just descriptions of what happens.  I mean, civilian cars are driving up onto the sidewalks to hit me.  In one mission, I had a wall of large cube vans blocking an intersection, so I tried to go up on the sidewalk around them.  One backed up onto the sidewalk and blocked me, and another drove in behind me, pinning me there.  The only way I could get to move was to get out and shoot the driver of the one in front, so I could move the truck.  But, as soon as I did that, every civilian in the game panicked, and ran me over before I could get in the truck.  That's not exaggeration, it's just what happened.

 

Anyhow, I really come here to vent more than anything...  that IS the point of the thread, though.

I'm just extremely curious if the Cayo races will be available on prev gen consoles because with the sorry state them game is in now and with the island running like dog poo most of the time I just can't imagine how those races will work.  Hell with the current stuttering issue even PC seems like a bad idea.

Valid complaint but it does not apply to the Cayo heist because it can be done SOLO. That is THE reason you were told to get the sub and run the heist.

 

Buy a sub and do the Cayo heist all by yourself in private sessions and make more money than you will ever need. 
 

Buy a sub, do Cayo heist. It can be done solo, by yourself, you don’t need anyone to join you or help you in any way, period.

 

The Cayo heist is solo and doesn’t require other players.

Okay, so I call up Sessanta to get acquire the exotic exports vehicles list. She sends me the list, and one of them is the Dubsta. I see a Dubsta 10 minutes later, and when I get in it, there's no anchor blip at the Docks. The game doesn't even say it's an exotic exports vehicle.

Don't know if this has been discussed here or not, but I recently saw & drove a civilian Spectre. I couldn't take it into LSC or garage but could drive around. It was invite only session too with no one else in my game. Thought it was strange, & I'm curious about it.

It was on the Exotic Exports list the other day. If you have an auto shop you could have taken that car to the docks to receive $20k.

For the first time ever I saw a Civilian Karuma in traffic. Stole it (some chic driving) and tried everything to keep it, no dice.

 

Invite Only. Just logged in 5 mins prior. No missions active. Was simply walking out of Ammunation by Lester's Factory.

Not exactly a treasure hunt but you can find parts of the weapons on random crime scenes and get the weapon for free OR you can straight up purchase it from ammunition store

I think you need to have the Hide Options to show freemode events for his texts to arrive, but even if you have those on and more than 24 RL hours have passed since you last delivered a Simeon Vehicle, the best advice I can give is to head to the Casino Parking lot and hijack every car until you get a 2 star wanted level.

Starting a new character on my Xbox One won't screw my Series X character will it? I know it likely won't, just need reassurance. Cause I really wanna play with a friend I made but I don't wanna lose 175 days of my life(According to GTA stat)

Time to grind auto shop contacts ans sniff out the exotic cars. Unless trade unlocks work  retroactively and i already have them without knowing lol.

Wow, now that's kind of a kick in th eface to those who grinded their LSCM Rep. Now they need to grind up to 10 more levels as every 5  levels unlocks a trade price (and when you're out of trade prices it's discounts)

If they release the Cayo Perico races today, and it really needs 10 CP races to unlock the trade price for the Draugur, damn that is some nonsense. I mean ppl would want to use that car to do the races. At least that is how i would wanna do these races.

 

What are we suppossed to do, use another offroad car to do 10 races, and then unlock the trade price, yeah and then not being in the mood to do any more of these races. It's just brilliant how they come up with that sh*t.

 

Maybe i just ignore the new car and the races, i mean f*ck that car. But out of curiosity i probably do a few, i wanna see how the performance is there, with all the "high res" grass and bushes, must be nice driving against low end PC players.

I hope whatever the next dlc is, we can finally store the Crusader I can't believe that Jeep after all these years is still on Pegasus's list and not storable or customizable.... Heck, Id take an added desert military livery for the Mesa or even MW Mesa at this point

If you transfered your char to new gen, your char on last gen is gone afaik, so why shouldn't you be able to create a new one there without sacrificing the new gen one? It wouldn't make any sense at all. I mean you gotta be able to play on oldgen somehow.

 

Maybe you should read this topic. It's probably mentioned there somewhere, what happens if you do that.

I wonder how many players can partcipate in these CP races, will it be 16 like in regular races? Or it's only half due to performance reasons?
