slipknot is pretty well known. maybe there'd be some confusion if there was a drain gang or haunted mound contract

But i bet it will be a Heist again, and i will be pissed and dissapointed again.

Remember Vice City Stories and Phil Collins? now that was a cool musician in the game
It's literally ROCK-star and all we get so far is rap, some rap is cool but seriously don't understand where they are coming from, are rock&roll licences that expensive?

Can we please stop with this music bullsh*t yet again? (also referring to some removed posts) Jesus. Everyone gets their panties in a bunch so easily about music tastes in here, who cares? We've had electronic music, we've had rap, nothing tells you R* won't suddenly stick a rock star in the game as a character.

Maybe i'm alone on this, but i would really love to have more (power)boats. We even could get the Merryweather base (Los Santos Naval Port) as a new personal dockyard. We have our own hangar and garage but we dont own a personal dock. Would be cool if we could arrange them like we can in the Hangar.

Michael is definitely being featured. But in terms of the theme of the DLC he will be featured within, idk.

It's worth mentioning that one of the scrapped SP DLC episodes focused on Michael was gonna be about a zombie apocalypse.

You never know, but maybe instead of zombies, we end up with clones of Cliffford army.

In 2008, I was playing GTA IV Multiplayer on Xbox 360. I read Rockstar’s cryptic Social Club  announcement, showing a Quarantine Contagious Disease warning. My girlfriend and I speculated about what certainly had to be a zombie invasion survival mode. Liberty City was our favorite open-world setting, and I fantasized about outrunning zombie hordes in the subways, searching for an Annihilator to reach the safety of the Majestic Hotel skylight entrance, defending a siege from the Liberertonian Museum, etc.

The actual Zombie update was unlocking a Zombie avatar: a decaying ghoul wearing tiny Rockstar underwear.

This was okay, but it wasn’t until Red Dead Redemption’s: Undead Nightmare DLC that we finally got an incredible zombie game from Rockstar.

I bought GTA V at its midnight release, and every Halloween since, my wife and I have speculated if there’ll finally be a zombie survival mode.

So I’d love if Rockstar finally releases a zombie/Juggernaut invasion mode, by whatever methods: atmospheric effects like UFOs,  a series of zombie invasion missions like ULP, Adversary modes, etc.

Personally, I want these effects in free roam, so we can race across Los Santos in chaos: heat-wave, apocalypse highways, fighting Zombies/Clifford robots en route to safe zones, gathering supplies, limited-vehicle access (get to the chopper, get to the boat, get to Maze Tower, etc). Driving a Barrage or a Zhaba with friends from the airport to Humane Labs, as zombies clog the streets. A bit of the Aggressive Pedestrian cheats from old GTA.

I always knew Rockstar shelved their single player DLCs in favor of GTAO, but I didn’t realize how much content was redesigned for Online updates. We've gotten Agent Trevor content in Doomsday and ULP, Michael’s UFOs for Halloween, and bits of Zombie DLC in Arena Wars. So I hope we get the rest of the zombies and aliens before last generation updates end.

Ever since the update, my cache/settings keep getting reset when I boot up the game.

Is this a problem with my system or something else?

Anyone know a fix for this problem?

I have a meth lab and document forgery business (I know!) but when I assign an operative to them from the nightclub, nothing happens. No product is sourced.

I have two functional business that run happily from the nightclub (cars and something else I can't remember!).

I've tried shutting down and restarting both businesses, deassigning and reassigning the operative, and doing a full manual restock and sale. Nothing has worked.

It's good to have at least one silenced weapon in your custom loadout. Why didn't you change or turn off the loadout after the first mission required having a silencer? Also, silencers don't reduce damage done by the weapon. The stat bars lie.

It's possible to beat this with the car that spawns close to the one at the start of the race. IIRC there is a way to make this one easy, but I don't remember exactly what that was. Maybe it was using the Oppressor MK1?

I realize this is the B&M thread, and you have legitimate complaints, but it comes across as "I expect to be perfect the first time without any practice" kind of complaint. Your complaints are common for new I/E players and there is a learning curve to I/E. @Mexicola9302 has good advice above. Getting better with I/E comes with practice. There are easy ways to do most of the missions. (I'm looking forward to hearing your B&M about the police chase mission because you don't know about sniping the driver before he starts moving. 😁) Traffic becomes predictable because you are often driving on the same streets to get back to the warehouse. There are unlimited bad guys when stealing a car, but only 3 waves when you are selling. The stupid easy way to do most of the missions is to use a Cargobob. Honestly, I stopped doing I/E because I found the missions too easy. Probably because I used the Cargobob a lot.

Check out the I/E Knowledge Base thread for tips and tricks. Ask there if you have any questions. I/E can be frustrating to start, but becomes easy with practice.

I think it would be a good addition aswell and I'm not much of a boat person. Was doing a transform race and was driving a dingy with my chameleon paint from the car I selected and upon seeing that, I had the same thought. If we could customize boats(even just the paints and possibly headlights), I'm sure more people would use boats. I'd like a fully upgraded tugboat too and not the Pegasus version.

Well, here we go again.

So, I bought my CEO the Vehicle Warehouse, spent half my total cash on it.  Watched a few videos about it, seemed straightforward.  Source the car, drive to to the warehouse, sell it by driving it to a buyer.

So the first mission, which seemed scripted, was just fine, no problems.  Got the car by sneaking in, stealth killing the guards with a knife (since it wouldn't let me disable my custom weapon loadout to get access to a silenced pistol), got the keys, drove to the warehouse, no worries.  Then I went to sell it, and EVERY SINGLE CAR on the road started turning into me if I tried to go past.  They were even changing lanes, driving into oncoming traffic to try and hit me.  They were driving up on the SIDEWALKS trying to hit me.  Then there were the armoured cars carrying armies of gunmen that were somehow able to keep UP with my speeding supercar with the pedal to the floor.  The guys in the videos I watched all sold their cars in perfect condition... and I have NO idea how they could possibly do that with hundreds of civilians driving out of their way to try and damage the car and endless armies of bad guys shooting at it continuously.

Second one, I had to steal it from a movie set, stealth killing the guards, who are all watching each other, so naturally, there was NO way to kill them.  Jump the car through the ring, it flips end over end and crashes, immediately damaged for around $3k.  Before I can even get it flipped over two armoured cars and a helicopter appear.  Before I've reached the road, it's up to $6k damage done to the car.  The helicopter then continues to pursue, firing constantly, never missing.  Before I get back to town, it's up to $12k damage.  So, I stop get out and shoot down the helicopter.  The INSTANT I get in the car, two more armoured cars and another helicopter appear RIGHT next to me.  Car is now up to $15k damage.  I try to run, but again the helicopter hangs right over me, so I have to stop again, blow it up.  The SECOND I get back in, yep, there's another one.  Then another one.  Then another one.  Plus armoured cars, of course.  By the time I get the car to the warehouse, it's riddled with bullet holes, somewhere around $30k damage done.

As I seem to say a LOT, what was I supposed to do?

So, the next mission seemed easier, just race to beat the car owner's time to win the car.  3 minutes to get from midtown to the inland sea.  No problem, should be easy... except literally EVERY car on the road steers into my path, blocking me, criscrossing in front of me, stopping suddenly on bridges so there's NO way past, and every time I so much as graze anything, my car spins around backwards so I have to turn around.  Meanwhile, MORE cars are running into me.  So, naturally, mission failed.

The next one was the movie set again.  Same nonsense the second time.  When I went to deliver this one (I didn't deliver the first one, the videos suggested only selling top tier cars), I thought I'd stop and take out any pursuing cars before they could hurt the car I was delivering.  But, the second I hopped out of my car, BOOM, onshotted.  I respawned, and before I even knew where I was, BOOM, oneshotted.  I respawned, and ran back to take out the bad guys.  Took out two, then BOOM, oneshotted, even though I was in cover.  Next time, I got into cover and was waiting to take a shot, when a civilian panicked and ran his car right into me, oneshotting me.  Note that I wasn't on the road.  I was up PAST THE SIDEWALK by a bridge.  The car had to come 20 feet off the road to hit me.  This went on and on and on until I finally killed the first two cars.  Then two more appeared.  Once they were gone, two more.  Then two more.  Then two more.  By now, I was running out of time, I had only 15 minutes to begin with, so I tried to just run to the car and run for it, but every time I did, I was instantly gunned down (partly since I had no armour or snacks left).  So I was forced to finish off the bad guys and run to the car before more arrived.  I eventually did get to it, and on the drive there... you guessed it, EVERY car was swerving into me from every direction.

So again, what was I supposed to DO?!?

Do people actually find this fun?  For me, it's just a nonstop exercise in frustration.

Realistically though not many people will ever be into boats in this game.

You know how the majority of players are. Unless they can have their personal drivable  USS Missouri to f*ck other players with and boats that dont blow up with a single explosive, boats in general will remain as unutilized as they are now. The 2 main reasons being that as far as this game goes you are more protected and effective against other players/enemies by running naked on foot in the street than on any boat and 2 what is there to do with them aside from cruising ?

Don't know if it has been previously mentioned during Yohan's Business battles if you will. The van spawns have end points
E.g the korean mob are waiting just across the road from Michael's single player garage (sandy shores spawn)
the Chamberlin Hills families are waiting behind the lucky plucker  (harmony spawn)

The easiest thing to do is buy a Cargo Bob. That's how I do all my car sourcing. I swoop in, hook it up, carry it to my warehouse then drop it in the yellow circle. Same with selling it. NPC traffic and armies can't hit you if you're not on the road.

Except for the one where you're *supposed* to use the Cargobob. Then you get a never ending supply of Buzzards to shoot up your pinata.

Still doable though. With enough practice, a good pilot can still minimize the damage done by the buzzards.
