I wonder if there will be any content exclusive to new gen? I still haven't migrated my main account yet so I'm hoping there isn't too much more than maybe some clothes or liveries that only 9th gen gets.

Also someone mentioned earlier that the skydiving collectibles could be flying drones. That would be cool. Reminds me of that one Casino Heist prep where you shoot down the nano drones and collect the scraps to build a smaller one. What if the the collectibles we find on the island and through skydiving are parts that can be used to build something else?

It's all power creeps, this make the desire and drive for new vehicles bigger, so they sell.

 

Toreador 4 seats vs Stromberg 2 seats

Toreador rocket boost vs Stromberg 2 no boost

Toreador unlimited rockets and torpedos vs Stromberg limited rockets and torpedos

Toreador have sonar vs Stromberg no sonar

 

The only thing that might be better in the Stromberg is the bullet protection because of less glass use, even the armor is the same.

Every once in a while you have a day when there's a mod infestation, literally every f*cking session filled with them. In one of them some wiseguy even had the audacity to take over my chat function and typed stuff under my name as if I'm some deranged retard. 🙄 It's days like these that I wonder why the f*ck do I still bother to reinstall this dysfunctional disaster from C*.

What if is about aliens? No joking. We first see this metal detector with epsilonists and with omega, the hippie (all this events on SP). Then we have IAA, an american secret agency that have connections to the ufo phenomenons/pop culture.  Aliens are officially part of the gta v lore. We have IAA, conspiracy and metal detector connected to hippies and epsilon cult that are after alien artifacts. Thus, i wouldn' be surprised if we meet some aliens in this DLC.

I would main driving the Ruiner 2000 and Phantom Wedge. Imagine doing Teaser Trailer in that truck! Teammates having trouble keeping up with it.

New jobs at CP will be nice, but the ultimate would be opening CP for all the creator modes (DM, capture, survival, and races). I’m sure whatever rockstar comes up with will be fun, but the community always does it better when it comes to races, survivals and DMs. Imagine survivals in the mansion or rallycross races with stunt props to make the paved sections.. if they allowed the fixture remover to remove trees and foliage there could be some sweet off-road races there as well.

I was looking through all the guns and I wanted the Lspd tints and I realised you have to kill 600 players for each gun. Rockstar needs to change this to either NPC or buy it outright at a high cost just like arena war clothing

Personally I think they need MORE weapon tint challenges for even some of the newer weapons or Mk 2 weapons rather than just making them cost money. The Contract had some unlockable tints which I hope they continue with in the future. Maybe some new ones where you have to kill 10,000 AI or something with the weapon to unlock a camo. I want more of that stuff.

If you used that on Vespucci Beach, it would most likely beep all the time because of all the iron in the sand from the blood spilled by all the tryhards who died over and over there through these years.

"Complete X bonus mission objective" or whatever challenges are fun, but "Tryhard X amount in this game's awful pvp" is not

Weapon challenges are pretty much the only things I like in COD. They'd fit pretty well in GTAO if done right

Nah, the metal detector i think it's something different. I think it was already shown here in the files that they would use (probably) the same model of this "metal detector". It was used by episilonists and by omega, which makes me getting more solid the theory that the conspiracy and IAA must be connect with something alien.

Yeah that's literally the same object as the one in the wiki I linked. This is the description:

Metal detectors detect metal, not alien sh*t lol. And if it was the same object as the one in story mode I feel like Tez would have mentioned that.

If it will be a normal metal detector, then aren't we probably going to see a new animation? It doesn't look it can be grabbed as a normal "melee weapon".

On The Topic if Weapon Tints, I agree..,

ever since 2013 I always went after them(ps3 back when eclipse was a goal, and before the bonus cash after the bad launch) old crew would go and start the fun with those causing trouble(or place bounties on each other to draw ppl in)

 

either way..,

I still hunt those tints til today on my new characters..,

kinda wish those tints were accountwide and a much higher number to equal what is today..,(I mostly get them in [T]DM and off the random Wannabe)

 

tldr..,

Tints unlocks are great, but to do them on each character?(wish I could liquidate my old ones and inject into the new.., no going back from pc)

A Nicely Lengthy Journey to unlock the tints, and accountwide so those that know it can tell the effort..,

(if done right, just like if KD only grew in [T]DM.., which unfortunately is not a thing) it adds more to do in the game asides the repetitive drag<just like going after chrome rims can be long if there is no jobs to join>

Idk why they didn't made the AK with that wooden structure that we all know the weapon for. Also, why making it so sh*tty. Would be cool if they could bring the old model to the game and also improve the quality of the weapon.

The old tints are so ugly I haven't bothered beyond the FDE tint. Both those and the bunker shooting range challenges are close to impossible for many players, which I see as a sign to nerf them a bit but honestly it's a fairly obscure/nitpicky concern. I much prefer the Mk.II tints and level of customization. It would be nice if the made Mk.IIs for all the old guns that at least spiffed their models and textures up, gave access to tints and liveries and buffed a few like the .50, Bullpup Shotgun and the Assault Shotgun to do more damage and add better SFX for all of them. Bit late in the game for that now, but it never hurts to hope.

iirc, its based off the AK-103 which doesn't have those wooden bits. buut i am very rusty on my gun knowledge so i may be wrong

It was based off the Type 56. the MK2 variant is based off the AK15. But a good ol classic AKM would be nice or even the AK 74 with better recoil control and stats would be nice too.

I went through the trouble of grinding those original weapon tints all the way back in Summer 2016. I even had this spreadsheet to track my progress.

 

My method was to create an incredibly small map on the Creator, cordoned off by fences in a rectangular shape, have the specific weapon I was grinding as forced, set match duration for 30 minutes and just 1v1 any random that accepted my invites.

 

Mind you, I was 100% transparent on the job description. No "INFINITE MONEY/RP" name, just "Assault Rifle Tint Grind" or something of the sort. It also was an honest 1v1 match and I got my ass handed to me a couple times. However, people would sometimes still try to leave. As soon as I saw the PAUSED above their head, I knew I had a limited time to kill them before they bailed out. :prismkek:

 

All in all, to unlock all the tints you needed to have 11.000 player kills spread out through the original weapons. DLC ones already had them all unlocked by default.

 

It took me a month or two but I got there in the end. Would I do it again? I'm not sure. But it was fun. I'd like to have more unlockable tints as well, so I'm all up for new ones.

oh definitely!
those bunker shooting range challenges are f*cking horrible.
even more bc you need more points on PC than on console.
i even think they can adjust them via tunables...
