After the weaponized tugboat, that I've been predicting for years.

 

I needs 1 front, 3 each side, and 1 rear cannon, each of which a player can use.

They should each be fully customizable, with various options:

Homing launcher

50 cal

Minigun (or laser minigun)

Flamethrower

Normal cannon

EMP

Railgun

Sea mine dropper

(and whatever else you can think of)

 

The whole thing needs like a 25% speed upgrade too.

Dont forget the captain should have access to a quad rocket boost, as well as 6 water jets underneath to make you hover/jump (think Super Mario Sunshine on steroids or something)

Oh and an additional front ramming piece (phantom wedge, massive dildo) and whatever kind of flag you want on top

Well, it looks like R* is going to be all about putting in weapons that were in the beta. Apparently, according to the invaluable information we have been given, the HK21 and a weapon that according to the description could be an SR-25 will be released. Seeing that the SCAR H, which was also in the beta, was released in The Contract, it seems to point to this.

Rockstar came up with a client-side Criminal Career/Career Builder catalog file on GTAV E&E much similar to RDR2's catalog.

 

Perhaps what Rockstar meant by expansion here is by making a live-service/server-side version of the Criminal Career catalog. Thus, Rockstar can adjust the contents of the Career Builder at will. And maybe offer players, who utilized it to make their own accounts, the ability to reshape their career?

 

Keep in mind, what we refer to as tunables over here is the catalog file for Red Dead Online. A new catalog is uploaded for every new RDO event. So maybe the same will happen with the Criminal Career catalog?

R* naming in general have no sense. Just imagine Grotti designers deep in XX century building a new car and thinking about name for it.

Theory: So at the rockstar newswire website, rockstar said that there would be missions where we would work for IAA, and someone at GTAForums said that there's activities happening outside of San Andreas, now I have a theory about why Cayo Perico might be coming back this update:

If you do the Scope Out Mission in Cayo Perico, You will find a small island with a destroyed helicopter on it, if you take a picture of it and send it to Pavel, he will say it's an IAA helicopter.

 

Now since we will have IAA missions, and since there is activities happening outside of San Andreas, one of the IAA missions might be about going to Cayo Perico. I hope this theory is true.

making new catalogue menus for businesses doesn’t sound like much of an expansion

I have a theory too.

 

Reusing the same island is the easier than creating a whole new place.

Also: there are no adversary modes in Cayo and players have been requesting it for literal years now.

imagining some kind of infiltration adversary mode for Cayo Perico where there's 2 teams of 4 with the objective of sneaking from one side of the island to the compound without being detected. The first team to have all 4 people there wins, otherwise the team with the most people there by the timer's end wins. No killing guards or other players, but each player has a stun gun to either temporarily disable guards/cameras or sabotage other players and stun them

They shot 85-90 mm shells from AA guns in WW2... the average gunner would have had a blast firing at these large, slow-moving targets.

Why do I feel like One of the new guns would be GTA+ Exclusive.....I dont know but I have been having these cur*ed thoughts throughout the day today...I hope my fears do not come true...

Nobody mentioned anything about creating a whole new place. Did you read their message the right way?

 

A mission set around CP would be fresher than around a place we've lived in for 9 years - long as enemies get placed around some of the lesser visited locations, like landmarks Pavel can mention or the party site. Put a fed-in-distress into a torture cage to bust him out from, or turn the air defenses against El Rubio's air force, make players go places they usually wouldn't go near.

 

But I'm not sure El Rubio would be involved in this particular mission strand.

I really hope something is done with the special vehicles. The only reason they aren't used as much as they could be is their limitations. Make them actual personal vehicles! Let us use them in contact missions!

R* won't do that, if they wanted to do something like that they would have done that already with twitch prime membership it's just bonuses , some cash and discount for players who don't like grinding alot

Probably it will be an adversary mode. If not, are we going to have to deal with the guards on cayo island while using the detector? That would be a pain in the ass, or then they would need to implement a new code to remove the guards or something. But i guess it's easier to make an adv. mode than mess with free mode code.

I never get the problematic that some people do with naming the cars and their retro versions. Comes to mind the NSX that should be called the Jester Classic and not the Supra (and yes, i'm aware that people say that the Jester should be in Karin brand, because it's a Toyota). But look at the other example, the Diablo counterpart that got the name Infernus Classic in the game. What about it? We have the Torero that's the lambo from the 80's and the infernus classic the lambo from the 90's. One of that had to get the "classic" on the name, it couldn't get the two, maybe the older one should have the "classic" but, i really don't care too much about it. And also, the NSX bring another problem, because in GTA SA it was from Pegassi despite being a Toyota.

 

Would be cool to get the NSX in this update. 🙂

The way I see it (and I could very well be wrong), Rockstar is slowly moving away from Shark Cards and more towards GTA+ as a money maker, basically switching to a "pay for convenience" system, but they seem to have realized that inconveniencing the base game (which some other companies do) is not going to get you a lot of subscriptions, it's just going to turn a lot of players who try out your product to turn away from it, so they're now fixing many things that ail GTA Online so that the base game actually rewards players well for time spent, and then GTA+ will add extra on top of that. (which is what a pay for convenience system should do)


This is what i have being saying. This gta+ thing for a billionaire company that for the last 9 years got from millionaire to billionaire just my micro-transactions due to shark cards and that is now at its "ending" (still far, but, we will not have more 9 years of gta online "1", lol), they came up with a new strategy to make money, bcz at this point i would say that unless you're too much casual, the general players are well set money wise and even if you're not and you have a couple of hours to play the game or 1 or 2 times a week and taking into account the many and profitable ways to earn money in the game, you simply don't need to buy shark cards. Plus, let's not forget that maybe the shark card sellings began to plummet probably around the time that the game appeared for free on Epic Games. How many didn't got more than 1 copy of the game for at least in one of them, use mods? So they put there modded money and that helped the problem of the SK sells. There's basically no other explanation for gta+ thing appearing on the game at this day and age. 🤷‍♂️

I wish the Ruiner 2K had unlimited missiles like the Toreador has, Stromberg also should have unlimited missiles. The problem with the game is that the new stuff is always better in a way, then there is actually no need to use the older vehicles anymore. I would use my Ruiner 2K very often if it had unlimited missiles. I just like the look and the sound and all, it's boring always having to use the newest stuff.

Well, i'm affraid that we didn't saw even the true potential of gta+ becoming a very snob thing. Exclusive liveries, exclusive clothing (some already is), exclusive chameleon paints, exclusive liveries for guns, sooner drip-feed content for the subscribers, etc. If gta+ could be translated in a single picture:

- Sniped back at him and he hid from me, but stayed on the roof. I decided to ghost org so I could finish the mission, hopefully. He immediately vanished from the map and sure enough, 10 seconds later his RC tank rolls up and starts harassing me.

- Now rather irritated, I nuke the parking lot on purpose to fail the mission, go to my facility, and as soon as he pops out of his RC tank I orbital him. He then teleports to HIS facility, so here we go. Now I have to go around in passive mode until he gets bored. Which I do, clearing out my various safes, shopping for clothes, etc. Half an hour goes by and he is STILL waiting to get that all-important 2-1 score so he can message me about "holding that L" or whatever. I trick him into wasting his orb (yacht + yacht defenses + scuba gear, diving under the boat, until he does a manual shot a mile above my head).

- He teleports back to the city (do trolls move around any other way?), pops out of his apartment, and disappears from the map again. YAYYY. I leave the session because enough is enough.

 

Dear all developers of multiplayer games: don't add so many annoying weapons and dirty tricks, and leave in so many bugs and expoits, until one persistent butthole and a few obnoxious problems can make an hour of gameplay entirely unbearable, even for a high-level, highly experienced mean guy like me. Thx

Does diving under your yacht block automatic targetting? Because yacht defenses don't.
