They could use the bunker, it was previously a iaa property, but i do t think they will mess with older stuff, not to mention, those sweet paywalls, so i guess therr will be another property to buy.

This has me really excited, I'm not going to lie. I really wanted this aspect to be better explored upon ever since the Doomsday Scenario incident.

 

I've also been playing too much Call Of Duty (Black Ops Cold War campaign, anyone?) lately but let us not get into that.

That would honestly be amazing. Niko coming back, Karen coming back, U.L. Paper guy coming back, basically part of the GTA IV story but in Los Santos with the GTA Online character involved. Hell, they might even bring back some other GTA IV characters, I mean we had Gay Tony and a few others so far.

Remember in By The Book, when after Trevor tortured Mr. K he gives him a ride to the airport and tells him to go to a country, preferably a dictatorship to do his story about what happened with the whole IAA thing and getting kidnapped and all that? It makes sense.

Iam scared about garage space, this missions most likely Will not require a new building...i hope they increase the cap of properties we can Buy like they did in lsss

I assume maybe we’ll get an office in the IAA HQ, maybe even the same space as we’ve already seen in Three’s Company, but maybe they’ll add a completely new interior. Perhaps we could work for the U.L. Paper guy, but not really in a formal way, just like Niko did for a while in GTA IV. Although I would love to imagine the Online character as a federal agent.

What this update may lack in content, it seems at least right now to more than make up for it in QoL changes alone. Even if there were no content coming, this would still be one of the most significant updates the game will receive (if it pans out as it seems to be). Just think that these QoL changes may have never come, but now we know the game will have these changes before they eventually stop supporting it (which does a great deal for improving its lifespan post-support imo).

In redemption 2, you open the weapon wheel and then click R1. Brings you to an ‘item wheel’, where one of the options are the various food items you have on you. You select it with the right analogue stick, same as when changing guns. To cycle through the various food items, you use the triggers. Same as when changing which gun you have active in the various slots on the weapon wheel. 

it should be noted that there’s two types of health in Redemption 2: cores and bars. When you take damage, the first that gets depleted are the bars, and then the cores after the bars are empty. Any damage done to the cores doesn’t regenerate, but the bars do regen.
Appropriately, there are two kinds of consumables to refill both: food refills cores, medicine refills bars. there are also special consumables that give a temporary buff to the cores and bars, which basically doubles how much damage you can take for a few minutes.

Unless it’s international, wouldn’t that be outside of the IAA’s jurisdiction? My understanding of it is the CIA are a foreign intelligence-gathering organisation. For domestic crime, it would be the FBI/FIB or whatever GTAmerica’s equivalent to the DHS are. Or one of the other ones; I can’t keep track of all the three-letter glowie agencies over there, new ones every week it seems

Yeah - I'm reminded of what games like Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Star Wars Squadrons did when they got to the end of updates and monthly events. Iceborne turned all limited-time events on permanently, while Squadrons put the limited-time unlockables in the regular store, and turned on "bonus XP day" permanently.

 

In other words, rather than using those things as incentives while the games were live, they're now just things to make the 'post-support' version of the game a bit more generous and rewarding, to make up for the fact that there'll be no new content as the main attraction.

 

I think the Squadrons comparison is probably apt, too - Squadrons stopped getting updates back in May 2021, but still had unlockables and revolving events all the way through until May 2022. So yeah, I could see a similar scenario here, where GTAO gets some generous earning buffs, followed by the big-deal return of the main character of GTA V in a December blowout, and then 2023 is mainly drip-feed stuff to inject something new into the game, but without having to divert too much dev time (if any) to 'old' GTAO, what with GTA VI taking priority. That'll quite probably include teases of VI - maybe even some tie-in stuff, like how GTAO had the revolver and tomahawk unlockables for RDR2.
