No, not always. In fact, very rarely so. Teasers for DLC are usually the exception and not the rule in the past 9 years.

There is a 500k bonus for doing 3 jobs... and again in the end you will not know did you get all three with RS dumb 'log-in info system' - unless you write your total money on piece of paper every time you finish play session

With some of them we really didn't, Arena Wars came out of nowhere, Doomsday Heist came out of nowhere, I wanna say The Casino Heist but the vault map was found in the files anyway so it was kinda expected.

I like to think if they're not doing any teasers or 'generating' hype, it means the DLC will be small. It's my opinion but let's hope for the best.

What am I looking at here? This was for when DLC was released, I was asking about a time when they posted about the event week then followed it by a DLC announcement article later the same day.

Oh yeah that is true, same day, two different newswire articles, one about the event week, one about the next DLC.

 

Wish we'd get that again but nah, I think it's either tomorrow or some point next week.

This isn't necessarily true. Some DLCs have been announced on the Newswire a lot sooner than 1 week prior to its release. But yes, 95%of the DLC's had a reveal one week prior to its release.

The unknown theme is the exciting thing. I remember them dropping a newswire post about Arena Wars on Monday night. I saw the artwork and theme and went straight to bed

 

We could have something we didn't think about or widely speculate. E.g. Yusuf Amir is in town and needs your help to steal 8 items across LS (similar mission layout to the autoshop contracts) - He's moved into the Richman mansion - visit him during a house party to get it started!

I can still remember how they teased Gunrunning. It was 2/3 weeks prior to its release. They did it on Instagram very late at night too. Very odd, never happened ever since.

Yeah. Exception, not rule. It was a new location and they released the surveil.exe teaser. Most other DLC got jack sh*t until the week before release, only a couple others got like map props etc. It would be fun, but the larger percentage of DLC's wasn't teased this way.

 

Even the Wiki is your friend if you browse that. There have been DLC's with earlier teasers, but it is far from the majority. Just deal with it, we're almost there.

Another week to go into my shell and forget about GTA online, but good to know we're getting something positive in the next 11 days. That time span of 11 days says it all. Long live July 19! I like these times .

Played some Ms Baker missions and they are surprisingly well done. Even had some I've never seen before, like taking a Tornado with definitely absolutely nothing in the trunk to the Altruists while dodging cops stationed along the road, or a variant of the Heist Crew one, with a cool shootout in Liquor Ace (Trevors meth lab). Haven't had a single mission that was overly annoying or boring, like often happens with the agency missions, biker contracts etc.

In my opinion, there is something "wrong" that they hold back.
Maybe they are aware of amount of content and since less content in particular DLC - delayed announcement. I would like to be surprised but right now i have a very mixed feeling, if we get another "LSSS" DLC then its really inappropriate, especially after freaking 7 months, if this is the case, it is unacceptable and simply rude and it cannot be defended in any way, that they did not have time or other excuses. I get that they can't relase new dlc every 3/4 months like they used back in the days, maybe becasue GTAO team is smaller or something, maybe they are aware that there is no point to make a large DLC every 4 months, and by how much content is currently available for new players they slowed down, there is also RDO and GTA VI on the way which also need people - for me THIS is understandable. 
They just cannot treat players like that, especially how many people play the game and like it, despite many factors that they should reject it

This discounted Emerus feels like a new super is about to arrive. A discount on a top tier car, just to make sure you spend your money. I hope it won't be at the same level as the Zeno, what a disappointment.

It's time to dethrone the Krieger/Emerus. With LSSS we had the Tigon, it was not bad, but not competitive.

I sure hope they aren't thinking of giving the new consoles a small sized pack as a first update, that would be so flawed and stupid.

I do not care if The Contract was supposed to be the first update we get on these consoles, it's their problem.

I usually memorize the money last time i login for the day, exactly to know when i'm expecting a bonus and have certain that i get it.

 

So...almost a 2 week bonus week. I was expecting more expensive stuff for people fell into the trap and burn more of their cash.

Ah I/E.. the update that was leaked entirely 2 months before it was released, good old R*F, we need him again.

Well, whatever is the deal, i dont think lacking the funds to employ more devs is one of the problems.
