Horseriding is gonna be great in first person IMO, it's not like GTA with it's cramped cars, you're gonna have 360 degree vision with that on the ground experience.

You make a good point, horse riding is the ONLY thing I'll consider staying in 1st person beyond a few seconds. Other than that, I hate it in games like this.

They kept it oddly quiet IMO. Just casually dropped it on the previewers during hands on. Maybe it wasn't up to snuff for a while so they withheld announcing it incase it didn't make launch?

I remember when people said they don't know sh*t because they called dead-eye eagle eye. Turns out eagle eye is a different thing from dead-eye used to track animals when hunting.

After reading all the previews I am so hyped, it is absolutely insane. I was all for realism and immersion and it really looks like they went all in with it. All the little details and survival aspects are going to make this game feel so alive and immersive. I just can't wait. Not much longer.

 

A few questions I got and wonder if anyone has thoughts on them:

 

What happens if the war horse or the other dark horse from the special edition die? I don't think they die and won't ever respawn again, since theyre meant as a bonus. I think they might respawn at your main camp but not next to you, which I would like.

 

Arthur can get skinny or fat apparently. Anyone got a clue how far this will go? I really doubt he will get CJ skinny or fat.

Hopefully we can turn first person off completely in settings so I never have to see it. Can’t remember if this was an option in V

It is confirmed, only with shotguns tho as far as I've seen.

They BETTER be able to respawn at the camp on command. I just pre ordered the Ultimate edition yesterday to have black horses for SP and Online. I can understand losing the relationship and XP you built up with the horse, but surely they arent stupid enough to make us lose a $40 investment. Word gets out on that, Ultimate editions will die.
