Red Dead Redemption 2: Discussion & Speculation (Part 3)

Wow, just read up on previews from gameinformer and ign and suddently 35 days seems too far away. I'm unbelievably exicted. So many things that i speculated and/or wanted are confirmed. I'm just so satisfied. I might have missed info on some other inofrmation so is there any summarisation of the previews yet? I skipped on reading about the two missions they played to not spoil anything.

One lone O’Driscoll is sitting on a log, and I have John take him out, saying “Get your hands dirty for a change.” He does so in a violent stabbing that even makes Arthur wince.

 

Hmm... John must be lazy at camp but is one brutal mother f*cker when he’s told to do something. I’m really interested to see how the gang treats John and vice versa. Was he an arrogant son of a bitch like Bill mentioned? I wonder if it’ll all turn out to be true?

I don't think so....this guy rides with Dutch a LOT.   Most recently, he's seen in today's screenshot alongside Arthur gettin' jiggy with the Maxim machine gun.

Yeah, 99 I'd also say because 100 is forbidden ... and we know there'll be this one outlet giving it a 70 rating and therefore ruining the overall score just for the lols!

GamePro met a man in Valentine who was so fearfull of Arthur he didn't want to talk to him.

 

There was also a dog running towards Arthur and barking. Arthur shouted at him and the dog ran away.

At this point I'm glad they ended up delaying the game back in 2017.  I wonder how many of these crazy, intricate details we would've have missed had the game met the original release date.

Impressive...

 

Red Dead Redemption II is easily one of the best-looking games I’ve seen, with an astonishing attention to detail. Arthur changes his posture in bad weather, tucking his chin down to avoid getting wet. The dialog you hear on horseback was recorded twice – at normal volume and a yelling variant, for when characters are far apart.

If you haven’t got a good relationship with a horse, watch out when walking behind them -- they’re likely to kick.  LOL!!!
