GTA V NG at launch was like 47gb, which is about the average for most PS4 games. Games that go past that usually do so because of post-launch content. I doubt RDR2 will be anything insane file size wise when you install it, maybe it'll be 50-60gb or something.

It was painful for us after a month of little information let alone the long wait of the first announcement. Yet behind the scenes for 8 years everybody at R* have been pouring out.

Red Dead Renegades
Red Dead Requiem 
Red Dead Remembrance 
Red Dead Remnant 
Red Dead Rebellion 
Red Dead Retribution 
Red Dead Resistance

They were all bloody awful! Red Dead Redemption 2 sounds organic enough even if it's not all that creative.

We're all brothers and sisters cause of our love of RD and the fun times and sad times we've shared and I'm glad this place is here for you to come and look for support. I'm so damn sorry that you lost your friend but he gets to rest now and there's no more pain you can know that.

 

There is no shame in having a mental illness or a physical illness that brings in these symptoms, it's the common cold of the mind both me and my wife suffer from depression simply because it's a heridtary thing in both our families. When you can;t change your circumstances you can always change your outlook and how you view them and take each day and each problem one step at a time. Even when it doesn't seem like it they're people that care just like you cared for your friend and many people do volunteer work such as phone lines to be there. There is always hope there is always something on the horizon that you know or not that you will want to be alive to see, experience or know. I'm glad you posted this and got to read about all these responses from friends who care.

 

Make sure to enjoy this game and other games like this and while remembering your friend fondly it's ok to forget the pain. In any event keep riding straight and true outlaws to the end!

I've always wondered about what the developers do after finishing a project. Do they immediately start working on the next game or do they take a break. After working on a game for 8 years, lord knows how much I'd wanna take a couple weeks off and fly to Hawaii.

If I’m not mistaken they take at least a month off before they begin to work on another project.

RDR2 HD will be at least 50Gb. I imagine there will be a Day 1 patch that raises it to at least 60Gb.

 

The Xbox One X and PS4 Pro versions will be much larger than that. (Again, probably via a mandatory day 1 patch).

Yeah. It's just a shame it feels like they are forgetting about Revolver. 

I just want a ending for Red Harlow. Let him be a bounty Hunter after the gang or something. Let us duel him for his revolver even. That's the only reason I don't like the title of Red dead Redemption 2. It's just too bland I guess

Just looking over the screens again getting more appreciation for the graphics and detail. Lighting is really on point. Shadows from small patches of grass. Sun reflecting off the tiny specks of snow. The indirect lighting on glass, skin, clothes and wood, on Arthur's head and ear in the tram shot. The extra worn out look of some clothing. Dirt collecting on Windows. All the fog and dust. Smoke from weapons and stacks. Add in all the game mechanics, physics, animations, A.I. and dynamic weather. AND then getting it to run on tech from 2012. Magic.
