I don't know if I'm more excited to hear each ambient music for every location, or to turn off the music for a bit and just listen to the world. Strong winds in Mt Hagen, sounds of the busy modernized city of Saint Denis, frogs creeking in Lagras with Arthur paddling through the water...

One of my friends is a big RDR fan and a R* fan in general just passed away, he was always checking the fourms but unfortunately didn’t register an account here. We played the first RDR to for hours upon hours together, he always notifies me about the news and we discuss them together. 

 

I just got the news that he committed sucide from a relative of his because of depression apparently... He never told me he had depression or anything, I do not know what to do... So I thought I share it with you guys here because I have been on the fourms for about 2 years and you are like brothers and sisters to me. 

 

I hope he rides into the sunset knowing full well that I loved him and will always cherish my memories with him.

Without counting this week, there's about 4 weeks left for them to go crazy with marketing leading up to launch. That means we should be getting news every week or at least every other week. I guess it depends on how much info they give us within a week.

Yup, by next week we'll be exactly a month away from release. They're running out of time which is good news for us.

Im late on seeing the new screenshots but boy am i excited to visit Lemoyne because im Lousiana native. Saint Denis is obviously new orleans and they also mentioned the Mississippi river which might play a big role in traveling in this game. Also Lagras might take inspiration from Jean Lafitte a small town below New orleans that was named after a pirate.

A lot of people are thinking this is Sadie, but I think this could be our first in-game shot of Mary-Beth.

Also upon looking more at it, really glad R* put that hut near the Swamp. It's like you can ambiently sit up their enjoying the view of the Swamp & Watch the crocs swim & eat Boar that come to close to the edge.

Could be, but that looks like Sadie's horse. On closer look, I'm pretty sure it's Sadie with her hair down, wearing a dress. She cleans up nice.

Edit: She also appears to be riding sidesaddle while wearing the dress, which is a nice touch

Seeing as we have new versions of Armadillo (Valentine), Blackwater (St Denis), Thieves landing (Lagras) etc, what will be the RDR2 equvalent of 1911 Tumbleweed?

Yeah, I looked again. That's definitely Sadie. Anyone else find it kinda funny that we've seen more outfit variation from the other gang members than we've seen from Arthur?

That's what happens when you give a game an infinite budget and 5-8 years of development time. 

 

Not every studio/publisher can afford that level of polish. Fortunately for us, R* and Sony can
