Today I have received GTA$250,000 as cash gift for pre-ordering "Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition" and at the end it says:

Stay tuned to the Rockstar Newswire for more exclusive Ultimate Edition rewards and Red Dead Redemption 2 info.

I figured out this cash gift is codenamed "Phase 1", more GTA$ rewards planned ?

And if it happens that we would get the second gift tomorrow, then "Red Dead Redemption 2 info" refer to them revealing new info this week ?

I feel you. I’ve been watching a playthrough of RDR, in part to freshen up my memory and because I thought it’d go nicely with the hype. But after having seen a few of the first missions, I’m not sure I want to go on. I feel that it takes a bit of my anticipation and excitement away, simply. It’s odd, really.. But I mean, I know the story pretty good. I don’t need to hear every line of dialogue from RDR to be ”prepared” for RDR2.

 

I thought it’d be a good idea, but I’ll probably just watch a few old westerns instead as that seems to work better.

Red Dead Redemption is a game that must be actually played to get the real experience. Watching a stream doesn't do it justice.

personally id love to find a cabin in the snowy mountains and when I walk inside I see coffee and blood everywhere. Bodies all over the floor and a lady hanging from the rafters.

If the game has photo mode (it will, at least in R* editor) that would be an instant winner. Arthur kicks the door open, covered in snow with shock and disgust on his face as we see all the carnage left in the cabin.

 

Also, I'm playing through RDR right now doing one mission a day so I finish exactly on release of RDR2. I did A Welshman, Frenchman and Irishman today. It helps put things in perspective as to how for away the game is. On Friday I should be doing the Assault On Fort Mercer which marks the end of the first thrid of the chapter if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, you’re probably right about that. My memories of playing the game far outweigh just looking at the playthrough this many years later.

Does anyone think Dutch might end up killing Molly? I just got this feeling... it’ll be interesting to see him and her interact with one another considering she’s his love interest per say... some dark sh*t is gonna go down as well between these two. Just guessing here though.

I don't think he will kill molly but what if her death is what makes dutch go insane.

This, In RDR Dutch is seen wearing a ring around a necklace. It could be assumed that it's an Engagement/Wedding ring to remember Molly and I don't think he would wear it if he killed her. She most likely dies in a gun battle while fleeing the authorities or by freezing to death with him when they have been chased up north during the cold winter. Either way, I think her death will be one of the reasons why he goes mad.

Her write up hints that she didn't sign up for the outlaw life and it's all a bit overwhelming for her.  I've also noticed that Dutch seems very bitter and jealous that the Marstons got their happily-ever-after (for 5 years, at least).  If Molly rejected Dutch's marriage offer, he's probably been broken-hearted ever since.

Maybe because Arthur seems like more of a man's man? That was my first thought of him when I saw the second trailer. He would need to be an incredible character though to beat Johnny boy, but that's more due to nostalgia for me with him.

It's been 5 years since V wow. It's kinda crazy the 5 year wait from IV to V felt a bit longer for me but these past 5 years have gone by like super fast. The wait from V to RDR2 feels short.
