Means most of the people inside all of their studios are working on the game (I think Zelnick said 1000 people) however a studio like North is definitely split into multiple teams: GTAO dev team. RDR2 dev team (biggest?). A team that's probably ramping up production on VI as we speak.

How much could many teams -aspect improve it?

Fantastic game. Never thought Insomniac could build such a great story and lovable characters.

A lot. It's a massive project so it requires massive manpower. The last Rockstar game to be dubbed a "Rockstar Studios" production was Max Payne 3. Though as Spider mentioned before, V is basically a studios production as well but GTA is North's baby so...

I just hope it will be worth the hype and not be like V. Dont get me wrong V is a great game but it didnt live the hype. 

 

But ik sure itll be amazing in all aspects

Just finished it myself. Very emotional story forsure. I can't wait for more. I really wish we could have random villain attacks.

I'm always reminded of No Mans Sky when it comes to this, albeit that's a game where the devs didn't help the situation by any means. The game was marketed as an exploration game but people saw space combat and the like and just started imagining that you could go around being a pirate with your own crew and stuff like that. Just taking bare footage or features and then leaping to conclusions and then being disappointed when they're dreamt up features weren't in game.

 

Rockstar's games always suffer with it as well because they give so little away regarding features that people run wild things they hear in previews.

I think some people will be disappointed because of what they think the game is going to be. Hype makes you think the game will be this or that, truth is the less they show the more people will be disappointed because they imagined the game was different. 

Just like GTA.

The only ways I could be disappointed in this game is if we are not given Director Mode to make our own stories and create our own set ups among other things. And the other way I can be disappointed is if the story doesn't deliver I have come to terms that i should not compare it to Rdr 1 I should judge it on its on stand alone game and that's what I plan to do.

The bar is set. That bar was RDR. If this game is better than RDR (which it already is imo) then expectations have been met for me.

My hype level was on it's max after trailer 3. Maybe because my mind is on other games right now? A week before release I will look at all the trailers and screenshots again to get that feeling back

Depends on who you are tbh, all people envision and play or don't play games in different ways. Just like the comment of playing games will make RDR2 less special. I highly disagree on that one. I get the concept but it actually makes the experience all the better seeing how amazing other games can be gets you thinking how mind-blowing RDR2 is gonna be you appreciate it that much more quality over quantity and you won't get burned out . (That gameplay trailer speaks for itself) but anyways as a wise man\one of the 2018 GOTY contenders once said expect nothing. You won't be disappointed. Case in point if anyone EXPECTED the gameplay trailer last week. You were surely disappointed
