No. I clearly hear 'fire' in 'sure we can have fire' but listen again the 'we can have the knowledge of..' part. Sounds like between fire and thunder. There is a clear D sound.

This is white/gold vs. purple/black dress all over again. I hear thunder as well, but I’m not calling people deaf for hearing “fire”. Hearing two different words within the same word is actually pretty common. Remember Yanny/Laurel? Or this?

Dunno. I think sense organs are not so same in all human beigns. I mean this argument is similiar with the 'blue- black or white-tan dress' argument. But in truth yeah I know that's fire. Dutch talk continuously about a metaphor of fire in trailer.

I've heard thunder from the start so I was confused when I read the subtitles later. Still hear thunder (more like fhunDer, but the 'd' is clearly there for me) actually.

No need to fight over this and what it 'clearly is' according to some of you. I think we'll find out if it's fire/thunder come October 26th. However I don't think R* made a mistake with the subtitles, which would mean I'm wrong.
