Dudeee nature is gonna f*ck with us hard at night time.. the animals will be more aggressive has already been confirmed and on top of that just imagine with the closer camera view, cougars... Alligators... BEARS. BATS. That's just a few out of obviously many more. Jesus this game has potential to be terrifying at night. Can't wait for pitch black forests and creepy shacks (also confirmed for mysteries being a thing still too) oh and who could forget... Again have to mention, Cougars. Those assholes. Bet they're returning . Imagine also the new system with rotting flesh... You have to get food for the camp late at night and you have a deer on your horse. You get lost trying to find your way back and your horse gets attacked by a bear then your food is gone, meanwhile your dead animal attracted more predators towards you and you're in the middle of nowhere horseless. God I just gave myself an adrenaline rush this game is gonna be SO f*ckING AWESOMEEEE

Multiplayer is a totally different thing to Singleplayer, which is the core of the game. I have no issue with flying bikes or cars or whatever in Online. They're never going to be brought to SP. Oh and also, GTA SA's story was set in 1991 yet we had jetpacks...

If they wanted to make games for kids they wouldn't even bother developing something like RDR2.

 I think that's why I'm enjoying Mafia 3  despite it being so repetitive. The setting and less cartoony style is refreshing for me.

 

 I also think we'll see a lot of kids and GTAO tryhards for the first few months (or however long it'll take to "max out" the Online experience) because they'll think "oh, it's GTA in the Wild West" and it'll be a new R* game. I think them leaving/quitting will be determined by how easy trolling or griefing will be and whether or not R* adds a bunch of wild sh*t. They'll stay if they can having flaming apocalypse zebras from hell with unlimited stamina to use or if they can easily obtain gatling guns with GTAO minigun sized magazines. They'll quit if updates are mostly new gamemodes, clothes, "normal" weapons and mounts, etc. Especially if they suck at PvP.

Good thing. We don't need red dead becoming all toxic with little kids and whatnot who don't do anything but kill each other every second and scream into the mic. Red Dead online in all seriousness, it will not go the GTA online route. If anything the most "weird and wacky" thing that could happen would be a unicorn,\ return of the zebra donkey when you're top prestige (pls do return god I miss that thing) other than those, mounts will probably be many different horses obviously, and bulls. Hopefully they just expand upon these things and add anything that makes sense for RDR. The first online red dead was amazing. Plus I love the "normal" weapons a lot. We don't need tons of automatic sh*t. The guns of the west actually take lots of skill to use. Can't just hold a trigger and spray and pray

 I just can't bring myself to be optimistic about RDRO in the long term and the hope that it won't just be an over-monetized sh*tshow. I really hope I'm wrong and hope it isn't. I've said multiple times on here that my ideal RDRO would probably be boring to 7/10 people. But they make these games to make money and if the kids are willing to buy Shark Cards to pay for the new donkey with steampunk-looking missile turrets on its saddle, they'll eventually get it. If not this time then next time.

 

 Ideally, for me, RDRO would be like an MMORPG meets The Sims or Minecraft/Ark. The video game equivalent of a West World experience. Instead I think it'll be like a new and improved GTAO with a cowboy theme. Again, I hope to hell I'm wrong.

RDRO will probably be great and rockstar won't over monetize RDRO because if they wanted money they would of went with gta6, and i dont think they will add crazy vehicles because rdr has a much more mature player base.

This is GTA Online related but also Red dead so i figured it was best to discuss it here. It seems that anyone who pre ordered RDR2 (possibly ultimate ed. Only) will continue to get cash bonuses up until release.

This week makes sense cause the hands on previews, another merch contest starting, it getting into the third week of the month... You guys know how much R* loves dropping news in the 15th, 20's and on. What really catches my curiousity though is how it says "stay tuned to the newswire for more ultimate edition exclusive rewards.. ?

Linked to your account. Are you on PS4 or Xbox? PS4 from what I remember automatically downloads, and on Xbox you have to manually search for it and it will just know you pre ordered the game and let you download the money .
