Also I've said it before, I just don't see a Bully 2 happening. That type of game in the current climate is asking for a PR nightmare. If they do something else it'll be a new IP, which is 100% what they should be doing anyway, it's been too long since they've done one - I bet a lot of the veterans at the company are itching to create something new.

 

I don't think Bully 2 is happening either, but not because of PR issues. I just feel like it's a risky game to make financially, considering it's 12 years old and didn't even sell that well.

 

it has a cult following but it's not exactly a guaranteed hit like GTA or Red Dead. and with how expensive games are to make now, I'd be surprised if R* took a risk like that.

Just go to the Community tab on PS4 and search "RedDeadNet" it should pop up.

 

It's like a place we can easily access each other. "Hey someone wanna co-op for "xxx" mission?" sort of thing. I think that is how it will work, never been a part of a community on PS4, but for this game i sure as hell will.

We have so many rumors pointing to Bully 2 as R*'s next game and yet people here act like they are 100% certain that it's not happening???

I really don't get it ... just think we'd be in 2008 or so for a moment ... it's like saying a new Red Dead won't ever happen because the first one was not very successful and R* needs to do a new IP to keep their staff motivated. I mean come on, really?

Even one of the Houser's said that he'd really want to do another Bully in an interview around the time Max Payne 3 released. Then we've got the leaked concept art and then we've got Yan saying that Bully 2 will be R*'s next game in January 2017 ... the same day he said LA Noire would be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

We have so many reasons to believe that Bully 2 is well into development and is likely to be revealed sometime next year.

An all new IP would be way riskier than releasing Bully 2, a 'sequel' to one of R*'s finest and most loved games. There's a passionate community hoping for Bully 2 to happen every day. I definitely see Bully 2 becoming what Red Dead Redemption became ... a massive success after a relatively non successful predecessor. (speaking of sales of course!)

This of all things. People tend to forget that Bully didn't, well sell very good. It's a niche title.

 

According to Take 2 the main franchise pillars from Rockstar's library are GTA, Red Dead Redemption and L.A Noire because they all sold in excess of 6+ million copies. And if there's been no whiff of a sequel of L.A Noire then why would Bully get one? lol

 

That and Bully was terrible so I'd rather they focus their efforts on some actual good IPs or those with better potential. lol

Here's the thing though: The gaming industry is unpredictable, especially R* and what goes on behind the scenes. Just look at Agent. He said that about a year and a half ago. We don't know in what stage of production it would've even been. RDR2's been delayed twice since then. It's possible that they've just shelved it again because of not having enough time. Just like in 2009 and 2011.

Rumours also say that Rockstar have tried to make a Bully 2 at least two times before and it's been scrapped/rebooted. Acting like it's 100% certain it IS happening is pretty daft too really. Wait until they announce it before getting your self excited and preaching about it every other post lol, believing rumours without actual hard evidence is and will always be stupid.

Since when do we care about sales ... all we want is play amazing and fun games and Bully 2 would definitely be amongst the best games out there.

Go for Spider-man please. There are 3 upcoming DLCs and the game is actually really good. Should hold you off until RDR2 launches. I 100% it in a week but i'm a quick boi, should take longer for you if you take your time or whatever.

Just a few more days and we should be gucci, hands on previews and HOPEFULLY the gameplay trailer. There'll be lots to discuss about RDR2 and nothing to do discuss about Bully f*cking 2.
