Every single track we've heard in the 3 trailers and the first gameplay video sounded absolutely amazing. Can't wait to hear the dynamic score when playing the game.

Yep. He basically has a close relationship with Rockstar now. He has definitely been working on RDR2.

What happened to Bill Elm though? The synergy both him and Woody Jackson had when making the music was amazing. I watched a "Behind the scenes" and it was an eye opener in terms of how revolutionary the progressive soundtrack is.

Bill's into westerns I think. So they're most likely working as a duo on RDR2 again.

just started getting back into far cry 5 i stopped playing because i got bored, but its been fun. i also re-downloaded witcher 3 to give it a second chance cause everone on here has been saying its a good game so, might as well

I'd say a bully 2 in 2020 is somewhat likely.  There will be some GTA VI at some point and they may start work on it as soon as RDR 2 comes out.  I'd say a GTA VI in like 2023.  We might get another red dead game in like 2026 on the ps6!

I doubt the PS6 will be a thing by 2026

If we're going by 7 year cycles for consoles then it'll probably come out in 2027.

And yeah, VI will obviously be a thing. 2023 seems about right. 10 years after V, 3 years after next gen comes.

Always been a big fan of the Far Cry series but i'm skipping the latest entry. Yeah, The Witcher 3 is very good. Hope you're able to finish it until Oct 26th, lol. It's a bigggg game.

I keep hearing that about SotTR. That's an "ok game".And it's a big surprise, considering it had a 100M+ budget

I 100% completed Spiderman not too long ago and it changed my tune really quick. It's a really good game imo, way better then the Batman games. Can't wait for the DLC that is gonna drop on October 21st. I should be able to knock the DLC out around the time RDR2 launches.

 

Other then that i'm playing Dragon quest xi because i'm huge on turn based RPGs. I'm also playing Kingdom come deliverance an open-world realistic rpg. The wait for RDR2 is still hard though

I'd be shocked if Rockstar's next game after RDR2 is anything other than GTA VI. The new consoles are expected to be out in 2020, there is no way that they'd let those consoles spend a significant amount of time without a GTA and more importantly a GTA Online considering how successful it's been for them.

 

Also I've said it before, I just don't see a Bully 2 happening. That type of game in the current climate is asking for a PR nightmare. If they do something else it'll be a new IP, which is 100% what they should be doing anyway, it's been too long since they've done one - I bet a lot of the veterans at the company are itching to create something new.

Ni no Kuni 2, and Breath of the Wild again at the moment. Cartoony graphics will just make RDR2 look all that more real once i finally get to play it!

It would make sense tbh. Before all the R studios merged some Bully 2 artwork leaked, so it's safe to assume that they have done some work on that game. It shouldn't be hard for them to resume their work on that game.

I don't see why you think Bully 2 can't happen ... I don't see how it would be a PR nightmare. But if R* wants to make sure it's not becoming a PR nightmare they'll just go with Canis Canem Edit 2 as title all around the world. But then again they just released the Bully 10th Anniversary Edition recently and I don't see anyone complaining in the media. It's not 2005/2006, the press/media/public has learnt!

Lastly you ask for a new IP, wouldn't Bully 2 be somewhat a new IP anyways? I mean it's been over 10 years since the first Bully and a sequel would be A LOT different I'd suppose and could very well be considered a fresh project for R* apart from their Red Dead and GTA games. I think it's RDR2 (current-gen only), Bully 2 (cross-gen title) and then GTA VI coming EXCLUSIVELY for the next-gen (PS5, Xbox 2) consoles.

I think you agree with me that the worst thing would be GTA VI being a cross-gen title (as was GTAV), right?

It's all speculation anyway, but I don't see it. GTA devs doing a game with kids and fighting. Take-Two don't need that these days, they aint the plucky video game publisher anymore, they're chasing EA/Acti Blizzard as the third biggest in the US. My guess is they'll continue to have Rockstar do these massive, epic single player (with possible online) experiences that they can roll out like it's an unmissable gaming event. Bully doesn't work for that IMO, despite how well loved it is by many fans. Also no, Bully 2 wouldn't be like a new IP. You get people working that long at a company, they'll wanna do something new, it's good for them and it's good for the studio - there's a reason Bethesda are doing Starfield before TES, CDPR doing Cyberpunk before a new Witcher, etc.

Bully 2 will be a have a much shorter lifespan than GTA V or RDR2. Sure it can have a story dlc or two but not anything near the size of gta's or rdr's updates since it will problably not have an online mode. If it does have an online mode I doubt it would be anything else than just a 2-4 player co-op or something like that. That makes me think they could fit that game somewhere in 2020 to 2021 with GTA Next annonounced for 2022 and released in 2023. Edit: If they even decide to do Bully 2 which i'm not sure. Sorry for the off-topic
