I'm in the same boat as you... 😑 Didn't pre-order yet though. I really want to support R* and have the complete experience, but I don't want the feeling of cheating. That really puts me off. I want the progression to feel natural, just how the game is designet to be. If I'm low on money I want to rob a store og have the thrill of going all in in a poker game. Don't spoil me with resources, let me earn it myself! 

 

What did you guys decide in regards to Pre-orders?

Wait, so in regards to the Power Unlimited magazine ... maybe we can expect our first hands-on impressions/preview after all?

I just had a look at their recent issue with Black Ops 4 as their cover story and the first two sample pages also look crappy with the editors' face edited into the screenshot (in RDR2's case it's edited into the artwork, bottom-right corner!)

Can anyone confirm the Black Ops 4 issue had all new info in it, because that's what I don't know.

At first, I went with the Ultimate Edition with the Collector's box but then I realised Rockstar probably aren't going to give you the option to disable the bonuses but keep the extra missions so I cancelled my pre-order and went with the standard edition. And  I only wanted that catalogue from the collector's box which probably isn't worth it.

 

Hopefully, later down the line they will release the missions, clothes and the horses as DLC.

The DLC's will come as a voucher code with the game. So you can just not use them, that's what my gaming website tells in the pre-order description for the special- and ultimate edition of RDR2. So no worries, I can just activate the bonus missions and don't use the perks at all. I'm glad it's that way because otherwise I'd cancel my special edition as well and go for the standard one.

Yeah, probably. It just sounds like they’ll be covering a lot in the next vid maybe even teasing RDO in the end like they did with GTAV

I thought the standard procedure was to have all the exclusive content tied to a single voucher and in order to access the missions etc you will have to use the single voucher with the free weapons and gameplay boosts attached.

It will probably be one voucher, yeah. With Spider-Man recently you put in the code and it shows you each individual “item” that voucher unlocks and you then have to click each item to install them. If it’s like that with RDR2 I guess you could just choose not to install the extra resources items, no?

So did I. Do we have any real evidence that the bonuses are on separate vouchers. I would definitely be up for the ultimate edition then.

Cheers for the heads up,  I might reconsider changing my pre-order if Rockstar allows to this as well.

Got 10 dollars down on the special edition, because I wanted the black thoroughbred horse and bank heist. Because I know if I don't get the heist, everytime I'm in Rhodes at that f*ckin bank I'll be like "goddamnit!"

I think PlayStation magazine will be the first preview 

 

they have an exclusive contract with Sony so this makes sense. 

Nevertheless get ready for next week and some big reveals

 

the next 3 weeks will be full with ton of information 

 

still all of that it useless because we can’t play the game before 26 of October ;)

Don't think so. GTA V went gold 3 weeks before its release iirc. And RDR2 is still 6 weeks away.
