2 interesting things though:

- It's 8 pages. 

- The person who wrote the preview\hands-on was one the first to ever see GTA 5 back in November of 2012, he wrote a preview back then and had an interview with the legend himself, Dan Houser. So he definitely has history with R*

8 pages seem too much for just "rehashing info"

 

Edit: oke actually the next article in the magazine starts at page 18 and the rdr2 starts on page 12. 12 and 13 are just an intro without info. So that only leaves 4 pages left for rdr2 info.

That's what i was trying to get at a couple days ago. It was strange they had it pasted on top of the RDR2 screenshot like if it wasnt related to it at all.

Mad at them for finishing up the game and wanting to release concrete info? Stretching the time out so once we see more gameplay and hear really exciting stuff we aren't too far from release to wait?  Come on man. I get it, I really do. Waiting sucks but they're finishing the game and like to keep info till the last minute so we aren't waiting extremely long once we hear and see the really juicy stuff and nothing changes. Unlike other devs, that release things to hit deadlines and have "downgrades" people are paranoid of these days. Everything R* shows looks better each time... that's how it should be. Appreciate how they care about quality first and foremost and won't release buggy unifnished sh*t. It will happen with the news blowouts, just be patient "buddy". You have got to keep faith... they will  not crush us! Were already half way through September... It's gonna go fast

Did Zelnick take a shot at Sony? Remember the rumor that RDR2 was suppose to be crossplay but Sony wouldn't allow it. Recent conference he said "Eventually, I think we’ll be in a cross-platform world for a lot of titles. Certainly between console and PC we will. Microsoft is basically already there. So I think the walls are coming down. The closed system walls are coming down, and they have to. Streaming is going to accelerate those walls coming down. We’re all here for the consumers. If you’re going to create rules that don’t benefit the consumers but somehow you think benefit your enterprise, you’re mistaken. Consumers will go elsewhere. You have to pay attention to what the consumer wants.

Just saw the gameplay trailer of TLOU2 again. I really hope Red Dead will also be that brutal and not the softness of GTAV. The wounds and blood in the trailer are from another level.

It may sound ridiculous, but In want to buy and Xbox One X just to experience this game in 4k. Only problem is if the price for the console is worth it. Can you plug any kind of headset into Xbone One X? Only played 360.

Great choice!! Any headset will work with it. The new Xbox controllers all have Bluetooth as well as a slot for headphones\earbuds to be plugged in. You don't need an adapter either

I got to mine like 30 mins early and there was like 100 people already. 5 mins before midnight the manager comes walking down the queue to ask "everyone who preordered from the mall, please line up over here. -points away from existing queue- Everyone who preordered here, just move forward." ...Like the whole line moved to the new line and I went from like #101 to #9 in an instant because the mall people were serviced after us who preordered from the standalone store. Greatest night ever.

Oh wow nice!

I don't think that bodes well for me tho haha. Will have to call and see. I'm really doubting they'll do a midnight but also hoping that maybe they'll let people come in until close to pick up the game. But that's just very wishful thinking lol.

I just got a new Xbone X for my birthday on the 12th for the sole purpose of being able to play RDR2 on my UHD w/ HDR 4K TV. Today I started my 4th playthrough of RDR1 to pass the time until10/26, and MAN OH MAN OH MAN, does it look good in 4K! So happy that RDR1 was one of the Xbox One X-Enhanced games. It's just such a beautiful game. Every time I play it, I'm all, like...

That Power Unlimited thing won't bring us anything new ... after seeing the preview pages I'm certain about that.

Looks like OPM UK is our only 100% confirmed hands-on preview so far.

Can you f*cking believe this game is only about 1 1/2 months away? How long have we been waiting...? (retorical question) This is gonna be such a beautiful experience. All the bullsh*t that has been posted in this forum, all the analyzes that took place in here(Mapping Thread especially)... I kinda love that sh*t in here. Just wanted to leave this here before we lose ourselves in this game in less than 1 1/2 months.
