Red Dead 2 o'clock is in 90 minutes, right ?

I'm not expecting anything earth-shattering, just cool to have a show with fans talking about the game.

Nevertheless, it's sometimes nice just to see the information re-summarised from another perspective.

I said it the other day but tbh I'd be happy with no new information until release now. Now that we're so close I'm not 'starved' for info and it would actually be quite nice to go into it knowing as little as possible.

But I know my willpower will not hold out!

Apart from their press releases, GTA V O'clock didnt really give us anything that we didnt already know on this forum. That's kinda why they turned to specualtion, which didnt really help, as they kept throwing over-top ideas in the ring, and hyped the hell out of the game to the point that i think they felt disapointed slightly when the game finally came out.

They did continue the podcast after the game released though, which i guess is helpfull for people that stops following the game's news. It turned into more of a round-up of info, where they speculated constantly about that Mt. Chilliad mural.

Then the main guy of the show left. Maybe he knew CVG was slowly falling apart, and jumped ship.

That's my honest opinion on the show, as i did give them a chance, and didnt really feel like i learnt anything from them. Even their "exclusive" interview and hands-on was almost identically explained as other press releases.

Wtf.....it really just hit me that we only have 41 days left. Like, this game must really be different and they have a lot of confidence in it. Because this marketing is kinda weak.

Chinese Takeout

How many pages do you reckon this here thread would be if'n you deleted all the bullsh*t "I wonder if we'll get anything today" and "I think we'll get something next week" posts?

I say around 1200. What's your speculation?

Think half the problem is that we're on this forum heavily so we know a lot more than the average fans.

If you're more casual that might be the best way to get a roundup of all information, but I agree it's also potentially a way of spreading false hope/information

I got so excited when I saw their teaser yesterday. I thought the trailer they showed had new stuff in it and mabye they had a special deal with R* to show content before anyone else. But that must have been the thirst for new info that took over my sense of reality :P

Anyone else have a feeling that the next gameplay trailer is just going to demolish expectations ?  I've had this nagging thought it's going to be absolutely crazy with how much it shows.

I used to watch every GTA V O'clock episode before GTA V came out and the show was interesting however I must say they did over speculate a lot of things. I personally don't think they'll be revealing anything exclusive today. Most likely a roundup of everything R* has released and just talk about it over and over until R* releases more info. Basically that's what we're doing haha.

Will it just appear on the Games Radar site in an hour or is it best to go to their Twitter feed ?  I never watched GTA V O'clock, so not sure how it worked.

With the first one we had bits and pieces of gameplay.

Trailer 2 will show a lot more and "actual" gameplay". The real deal

Apologies beforehand if this has been mentioned or discussed before but in the Gameplay trailer it looks like the "Online Character" makes a second appearance (on the right in the foreground) at the 05:41-05:42 mark when gangs are mentioned as something discussed in part 2.

Maybe that's an NPC and the scene with the apparent train robbery and "Online Character" is just a cinematic version (for the trailer) of a random event/encounter we can come across in singleplayer?

If we can stumble onto rival gangs pulling robberies and in turn rob the rival gangs....holy sh*t would that be awesome.

Talking of online characters quickly, i hope they dont look strange compared to the main characters. That's one thing i hated about GTAO, the characters were weird in a "generic" kind of way, no matter what you did to them. The story characters were much more convincing, but i know it's because they are based on real people.

I want my RDRO character to have a proper beard like me! lol

I think it was because of first exp of R* in character creation — all of this ''parental'' system. RDO creation system definitely wiil be much improwered.

I couldn't bear listening to the presenters of GTA V O'Clock in the run up to GTA V.

I remember one of them had a horrible speech impediment that meant he pronounced the letter 'R' as a 'W'

Hearing him say things like Wockstaw games, Twevow and Fwanklin got on my nerves very quickly and I stopped watching them.

Considering that, other than the obligatory landscape shots in the very first trailer 2 years ago, every scene in every trailer and every screenshot since then has 99.9% been either about Arthur or seen from his POV, I'd say there's a damn good chance the Bearded Train Robber scene is no different.  There's nothing to indicate that scene alone is about online gameplay.   Just because we don't immediately recognize the character doesn't mean we've suddenly gone from 99.9% info about SP mode to a brief .1% glimpse of online mode that tells us exactly nothing about online mode.   That scene is still from story mode, guar-own-tee, and it's seen from Arthur's POV, guar-own-tee.   Either that's a rival gang member, and Arthur is a captive audience; or that's one of our own in a really crappy disguise.  The first time I saw that guy I said "bad disguise."  Nothing has changed my opinion after the umpteenth viewing.  If that's supposed to represent real facial hair, then I have genuine concerns for that feature.  It looks awful, period.  Utterly unrealistic stache with squared(!) corners, beard literally looks glued on.  Like a, a merkin.  (Look it up, and it's not entirely off subject:  see "Merkins Waller" on the leaked map, and the merkin seller on the list of RDR2 company logos.)  In addition, the setting for that scene is exactly the same one used for Micah Bell's "Sons of Dutch...makes us brothers.  Sometimes brothers make mistakes" dialogue.  With Arthur looking hangdog about it.   That scene is in story mode, and it's about a botched train robbery.  Only thing I'm not clear on is whether or not it was Dutch's Gang or somebody else's that botched.  But I'm betting on Dutch's Gang, and Arthur being responsible for this one.

I got the impression he's a rival gang member.  Possibly rival gang leader, but nothing to do with online.

Yeah, like Maverick said above I too thought it was a bad disguise or just some generic-as-f*ck NPC from the jump, not an online character like others assume. After noticing that he seems to reappear when gangs are mentioned I'm definitely leaning towards rival gang NPC. Plus I agree that it'd be awesome to stumble across a train robbery and be able to either save the people or kill and/or rob everyone. Great Honor ranking scenario.

I doubt it because of what I would assume would be hitbox issues. Like when my friends and I would agree "no Oddjob" when playing GoldenEye 64 back in the day.
