I just picked up God of War and AC:Origins they should keep me busy until RDR2. Even if they don't, I still have to finish South Park: TFBW

I don't plan on getting any games after RDR2 until at least this time next year.

My general feeling is that the embargo of the hand-on preview by the press is going to be marked by the next gameplay trailer.

Once that comes out, i think it will reveal a few new things that will be talked about in the hand-on articles. So by showing the trailer then lifting the embargo, it will make more sense to read up about it afterwards in more depth.

I can't wait for the new trailer - partly becuase it's a new trailer 🤷‍♀️ but also for you and all the mapping guys to do more of your excellent mapping!

It could also be the end of the prologue when the gang hides in the mountains. Could be that the gang hides all winter and comes back in the spring.

What’s the general thought on wether or not we get an announcement before the next trailer? Personally I think that R* would do another announcement prior to releasing the gameplay. I know some people are saying “R* said part two coming at the end, so no need for another announcement” but it has been 5weeks and not everyone checks daily , like us on this forum, and the ‘casual’ consumer probably has forgot or not really acknowledged it.

Im not expecting a new gameplay trailer today (hope I’m wrong) or until it’s been announced...new info/tease I expect anytime just randomly now.

Most likely: Announcement next Wed, 2nd trailer following day

Gameplay will come surely the same week when hands-on previews will be released just like happened when R* released trailer 3.

So we know 100% that at least one preview will come on spetember 24 to 26 (I don't remember exact date) so I'm pretty sure that the gameplay will come in 2 weeks or in the best case next week.

With their previous relationship with rockstar games being very strong this could definitely tell us that once again, the boys over at Red Dead 2 o Clock have been to see the game,
maybe they KNOW something is coming today and there waiting until gone 11am eastern for Rockstar's announcement to release any information.

Before GTA V, GTA V o' Clock was lucky enough to have exclusive news, a preview of the game and more!

Hi guys, long time lurker here. Just wanna say hello and thank you all for keeping the hype-bonfire lit. The wait for RDR2 would not have been the same without the ups and downs this community have been providing  Looking forward to seeing you guys reactions to the next gameplay trailer, whenever R* deciedes to drop it.

I think Rockstar will release more artwork, but the boys over on Gamespot channel (Red Dead 2 o' Clock) know somethings happening, today's episode HAS to have a reason right? Why Now? Why make a red dead 2 o' clock NOW? News is over since last week...

I'm sceptical that they'll have anything significant today but I feel they must be in the know in some way. While others are click baiting and rehashing rumours, these guys have waited and now begin to put out content a month or so before release.

Well, 11AM Eastern will be our deadline to know whats going on, regardless.. People can judge all they like but every RDR2 page on YouTube, Facebook or Twitter all help the game sell. Were all here for the love of Rockstar Games and an influencers role is to help build the game popularity and awareness.

Im excited TBH

I think they have seen the hands on also. But i feel like they are going to string us along with shreds of recycled information like they did with GTAV, until the embargo lifts. They even jumped on the speculation bandwagon with GTA V and used this forum as it's main source of news...

Ok so just to try and cheer you guys up and bring some perspective to all this:

5 weeks ago we’d just seen the gameplay trailer.

In 6 weeks we’ll all be playing the game.

Not far to go, everyone.

*You have got to keep faith*

Could be worse.

Remember the old days, waiting for a game without the internet. All you had was a magazine preview or two and if you were lucky, a brief playable demo.

I can't tell you how many times I read my copy of PSM2 waiting for San Andreas to come out. Scanning every word just in case I'd missed something 😂

Yeah to be honest there will still be enough information to keep us going up until the release of the game.

Hell, we're still figuring out new sh*t about the map to this day and that gameplay trailer is five weeks old. So i'm sure there will be enough to work with until the real map gets leaked just before release (as it usually does, in the form of: brady/piggyback/primer game guide opening from a retail employee).

Times have changed. The first games I ever played were on cassette tapes and could take hours to load into.

Once my cousin brought a game and we were very excited to try it, after it loaded up I accidentally picked mouse interface instead of joystick. I didn’t have a mouse. We didn’t have time to load it up again, and I don’t think we ever got to try that game.

But for some reason though, gaming back in those days was just as fun as it is today. :)

I know you weren't asking me but here's my two cents.

At the time I was way overhyped for that game. When it came out it wasn't at all what I expected and I was hugely disappointed. But after the dust settled, and I took it for what it was and not what I wanted it to be, I have to say mafia III had an amazing story. The gameplay got really repetitive at times having you do the same side missions over and over to get to the main story missions kinda like saints row. but if you can tough it out the story is worth it imo. You just have to take your time with it so it doesn't get boring. If you can get a good deal on it it's definitely worth playing if your looking for something.

I mainly passed on release due to the negative comments about how repetitive it was.  The setting, time period and music seemed spot on, so I probably will check it out eventually.  Still kicking myself for forgetting to grab it when it was on games with gold.

I started off on an Atari and then an Amiga.

Hard to believe when looking back at that where we are noe when watching the RDR2 trailers.

Please expect the RDR O'clock video to just be some sort of reintroduction/introduction to the new channel and nothing else. It doesn't matter that they have had exclusive info for V before, it's a great sign,  but it doesn't mean their video is going to be exclusive info.

I liked the concept of Mafia 3 but agree it was really repetative. All of the missions felt like side missions when compared to what you'd get in a GTA game. Still worth a play if you can pick it up cheap enough

Yeah - I can see them possibly having something further down the line, but I very much doubt they'll have an exclusive reveal, it'll be the same as all other journalists at the time.

They have had exclusive interviews before, but we're not gonna be expecting stuff like this every video of theirs - even though that's what people did during GTA V...
