I'm still swinging my way through Spiderman.. probably not gonna get Tomb Raider. I tend to get bored of them an hour or two in and not have the drive to keep playing, and I've got a couple platinums I wanna chase before everything turns RED anyway

Same for me. I loved Tomb Raider on the PS3 but rise of the Tomb Raider ruined the experience for me...One of the few games I didn't complete. Spiderman and RDR2 will keep me busy for a long time (and fifa)

I completed both of them, but Rise took a lot longer as I had to go back to it after a long break it's not that it's a bad game, but I dunno something about it just makes me not wanna play it.

 

I'll probably pick up shadow next year if there's a drought in games but I'm not gonna rush to buy it. Spiderman I'll be done with by the end of the month

 

so far my list for upcoming games is:

1. Red Dead Redemption 2 & Online
2. The Last of Us 2 (whenever it gets released)
3. Assassins Creed Odyssey
4. Fallout 76
5. Days Gone

And RDR2 is gonna take me through to Spring so nothing else is getting much attention until then

Love spider man and tomb raider both tbh. It's why I never listen to reviews a majority of the time I enjoy something others may not we all have different tastes and everything. I liked rise a lot too, but shadow is already better imo... Got right into the action, the jungle is unbelievably immersive it's beautiful and gets us both saying things again like "omg imagine how red dead will be when we are already lost in this, it's gonna be insane!" Lol. We are both playing spidey and tomb raider till red dead day too sooooo, agreed

Great list! For me after RDR2, TLOU2 and ghost of Tsushima are a must when they release.

I know Spiderman will keep me going until the end of this month, and I'm going on holiday in October so I'll be taking time out from gaming for planning (and actually going) for most of the month, and when I get back Red Dead will be my #1 priority so I don't really wanna get a game that I can't finish before then lol. I'll most likely play it at some point though.

     5. Devil May Cry 5

Thanks homie I thought so too I feel proud to boast on those specific games lol quality over quantity. Yes. It will. R* are my favorite but it's nice to see other developers stepping up too, it can only mean better games for everyone. And I absolutely adore god of war and spider man... I can see for my tastes shadow is gonna be up there too... Just been a damn good year for games, enjoy them all!! And without going so off topic, just was gonna ask you even before your reply, and hopefully before we are hype train aboard today for RDR2.... But, are you a souls fan?? Since you hold sekiro high up there I take it you're played dark souls or bloodborne my babies

Bloodborne is one of my favourite games of all time. 

 

Absolute masterpiece in combat, level design, ost, setting and what makes you feel. 

 

It's a 10/10 game for me.

Oh hell yeaaaaa I knew it!!! Bloodborne back to topic after this but I just have to say, I feel like that game would speak to anyone who loves red dead and immersion, as long as they could handle the difficulty... Like you said everything is just so on point and it really tests your skills and you as a person it goes deeper than just any game.. tests your willingness to keep going and not give up, face your fears etc. Just one of the many reasons I love it... But f*ck the nightmare of mensis... Damn spiders almost kept me from not finishing the game that soundtrack much like the RDR one is to die for. Absolutely perfect and so epic during the boss battles... Damn I love that game. It's the only other game id wish for really hard like I did for an RDR2. Pray a bloodborne 2 happens someday. But anyways, I still can't believe we get RDR2 next month... It's seriously surreal still I'm so excited

Those are the games I'm looking the most forward to outside of Sekiro, but you guys are seriously sleeping on Dying Light 2. It looks incredible, and this time the head writer is the one who did Fallout: New Vegas!

What’s the general thought on wether or not we get an announcement before the next trailer? Personally I think that R* would do another announcement prior to releasing the gameplay. I know some people are saying “R* said part two coming at the end, so no need for another announcement” but it has been 5weeks and not everyone checks daily , like us on this forum, and the ‘casual’ consumer probably has forgot or not really acknowledged it. 

 

Im not expecting a new gameplay trailer today (hope I’m wrong) or until it’s been announced...new info/tease I expect anytime just randomly now.

ROM was a pain in the ass for me. 

 

Suffered so many defeats at his hands, or claws. 

 

But yeah, the first time you face the Cleric Beast with that epic music...

 

It's one of those moments. Still gives me the chills
