Yea I'm going with fake. With Rockstar you get either in-game screenshots or artwork, you never get photo realistic images slapped over artwork by them. Wouldn't fit with their marketing so far at all.

Truth be told it looks like the game I was referencing Hunt Showdown but its earlier dev name Hunt: Horrors of the gilded age. Look at some screenshots you can see that character in there.

 

Edit: I didn't see that wanted poster coming though either so who knows.

Certainly looks like Bill. He's got the right hat and hair color. Though I don't know if Bill's hair is that long. If it's a fake, it's a really good one.

 

Looks like an in-game screenshot with an inserted red background, rather than artwork.

Isn't Power Unlimited a European mag?   Seems they'd be more lenient posting VG pics showing a character smoking a cigarette.   US gamer mags usually frown on that, but RDR2 probably passes the "historical authenticity" test.

Looks like a page that offers official artworks, RDR ringtones and fanart for download. This one is by an artist named "dathys" as you can see above (last picture). So... Nothing official it seems.

Apparently this "dathys" took the picture from DeviantArt and made his own fanart out of it. Seems like the credits go to "dnmny" on DeviantArt.

GTA IV Multiplayer (Cops ‘n Crooks) specifically was my most favorite memory in terms of playing with others online. Man, that was so much fun.

The memories I wasn't allowed to play gta just yet when IV first dropped but I remember watching my older friend play it with his dad and mine. Once RDR dropped though I was able to play more games as I was really mature for my age. Anyways in RDR online we did a similar thing to that in free roam!! No structured match really just a bunch of people on the same page we would be role playing with the RDR outfitter we would have a team of lawmen, then of course outlaws... And we would play our part. If we saw a criminal attacking somebody, we would go after them and vice versa. It was extremely fun.. both that and king of the hill on top of the mountains in tall trees.. I wanna say cochinay. Those are my great free roam memories. And of course land grab.. I f*ckin loved that. Hope it returns in RDR2! RDR online will be amazing so much potential doing the freemode event type stuff more frequently on top of organized classic matches and a new western battle royale mode... Yes pls. Do you remember land grab? Gunslinger? Or did you do this role play stuff like cops and crooks ?

Well, mystery solved...just really nice fanart.   Gotta wonder why that pic looks like it was pulled from a magazine, though.   Still could be a gamer mag using it as illustration for an RDR2 article.

Silly question here but something I've been thinking about. If the idea of RDR2 is to be more realistic, and that you are truly apart of a world that doesn't revolve around you, What does that mean for NPCs and their routines? Does this mean that every NPC has a home in the world that they eventually to? Or, like any other game, are they on a rotation of sorts?

Haha. It was even funny killing someone who had one too. They would then respawn back into the session and it wasn’t in their weapon wheel anymore. They would have to do the very few Gang Hideouts that awarded one.

I wonder if the windmill direction changes with the wind?  Looks like it's locked in the same position in both of these shots.  Like the wind turbines in GTAV, which don't turn either.

I know you weren't asking me but here's my two cents. 

 

At the time I was way overhyped for that game. When it came out it wasn't at all what I expected and I was hugely disappointed. But after the dust settled, and I took it for what it was and not what I wanted it to be, I have to say mafia III had an amazing story. The gameplay got really repetitive at times having you do the same side missions over and over to get to the main story missions kinda like saints row. but if you can tough it out the story is worth it imo. You just have to take your time with it so it doesn't get boring. If you can get a good deal on it it's definitely worth playing if your looking for something.
