This post, crudely, illustrates the point I was trying to make with my post that set you guys off. Until Rockstar gives the news it's just something for people to get their hopes up over, to go hog wild over in thread, and then to panic about when the hoped for news doesn't come. They wont have anything tomorrow, Rockstar's not going to give over the plum of new information like that. It's generating hype for their own sake and you'll see the usual cycle happen tomorrow morning.

I’ve said this as a joke three times to no avail but now I’ll say it plainly: Their status as insiders and media personalities will have no bearing on what they do tomorrow. This *will* be relevant when Rockstar has opened the door to more information but tomorrow will *not* be that day. To pretend otherwise gives people false hope and will lead to the same expectation/disappointment/anger cycle that has dominated this thread for weeks.

Right. But no one said that day will be TOMORROW. We think it's probably coming down the line.

I speculate that Red Dead Redemption 2 o'Clock may have a preview coming tomorrow, or very soon. They certainly had hands-on previews before other journalists back in the GTA V days.

Right. But it wasn't about that in the first place. It can be calming to hear others talk about something you are interested in (specially if you're OBSESSED with it). Even if it's nothing new it can still be entertaining for them. It's not a bad thing. A distraction like I said. That's what I was talking about. Case closed.
