Because game devs are weird and often release launch trailers 2-3 weeks before the game launches. GTA V's was released at the end of August.

Look at it like this. No major info this week just means something big is coming. I think the nda will be up right around the time of the magazine drops. So a week and change...

What's the point of teasing it this way? Especially when it says nothing but their channel name on the picture. Emoji and cropped photo of the screen... People not familiar with them obviously will think it's related to game news. It's an actual clickbait.

Think it honestly causes reactions due to people being angry with Rockstar dragging the news to the wire, not the post itself. If you would've asked someone in here when we are getting the part 2 gameplay video right after part 1 dropped, 9/10 would have guessed a time before now.

Agreed. I really want to see the trailer drop too, and tbh I'm spending an unhealthy amount of time checking this topic for any news or speculation. But I'm also watching this playthrough of Red Dead Redemption in 4K, and have done so for a couple days:

 

 

(I'm on PS4 and got rid of my PS3 years ago, and for some reason us Europeans don't get to experience PS Now. Otherwise I'd play it myself.)

This playthrough is pretty OK aside from me sometimes thinking "What the f*ck are you doing?", and the guy playing is moderately bearable to listen to aside from the occasional high-pitched screaming.

 

Also, I'm watching a bunch of of old westerns that I've missed out on - next in the lineup is The Wild Bunch (1969), which is supposed to be really good so I'm very excited about that. Can't believe I haven't seen it yet tbh, and I apologize for my shortcomings in that regard.

I'm okay with not having ability to control it. I'm more curious to know if you can derail it. Those invincible trains in GTA V was meh

Being that online content is available to preorder, I don’t see them not dropping a trailer for online before release. Which makes the timing of all this very suspicious IF we assume they release the launch trailer ~18 days before release like they did with gtav. 

 

They could drop the launch trailer closer to release which would allow time for the other two (gameplay pt. 2, online) to marinate. In any case, things are gonna get busy “soon”.

The 'Grizzlies' will be a special area in the games' vast world, I can't wait to explore! Imagine you are in a hut, looking out the window into a pitch-black night when suddenly a snowstorm kicks in.

The Wild Bunch is a really good western... actually it was listed as Rockstar’s #1 recommended back in the day in a Newswire article listing their Top 10 Westerns.
