It's not about announcing that the trailer is coming out, but rather announcing when it is coming out.

Rockstar usually release their major videos on Fridays. If it's not tomorrow then I honestly can't predict any better

For clarification to anyone wondering, Rockstar do release their trailers on Friday AEST, though that is Thursday for everyone except us and New Zealand.

There’s no real pattern here other than Rockstar favour Thursday’s for a release, but even that is not a rule. Basically, I think expecting Rockstar to follow the exact same formula down to the hour for the release of the next gameplay trailer is pretty naive. We don’t know when it will come, but we can be sure it’ll come completely out of the blue.

 Lasso's are confirmed because...it's the west, it's seen in the trailer, they're not gonna remove it after the fun it helped create in RDR.

 

 And just like RDR they won't be in Online (in Public Lobbies anyways) because...griefing.

I really wish people would stop predicting 'today is the day' when they literally know nothing.

 

The second gameplay trailer has been coming 'today' since the first one was released.

 Wholeheartedly agree. The amount of times I wished I could summon a taser on command when I played GTAO... I enjoy trying to out-troll/grief trolls/griefers. They usually are the type of person who ragequits quickly when things don't go their way.

 

 Like when you could use a fire truck to hose down trolls who would use passive mode - they always ragequit soon after they realized I had nothing better to do at the moment and they wouldn't be able to retaliate.

Only cuz the first gameplay trailer was on a Thursday doesn't have to mean the second also have to be on Thursday.

 

If you look at the release of the trailers, there are so many different days they came

 

Edit: actually less different than I thought. Either Wednesday or Thursday

Before rushing to the next gameplay video have you taken any time to look awfully close to the first gameplay trailer ? I'm watching it almost everyday and discovering new tiny exciting details.. i feel at least it's a good way to spend the wait before the next trailer..
