I'm not sure John will be a combatant during the Blackwater Massacre, which may explain why he doesn't seem to have met Landon Ricketts until 1911.

 

I think these might be our "sketchy seven".

 

From L to R: Micah, Lenny, Arthur, Dutch, Bill, Charles, Javier

 

My guess is maybe John and the rest of the gang are hiding out somewhere in the grizzlies(the cabin shots from trailer 3, "get those people warm and fed"?), and these 7 set off to try and catch a big score in Blackwater, which is where everything then goes south.

 

 

Also, the MorningStar Ferry from the beginning of RDR was originally going to be docked at Blackwater, as a place you could gamble and play cards. There's even a sign on the side of the general store pointing to it.

I believe they ulways unpinned their main tweet shortly before news dropped. This could be about GTAV Switch though!

Well,according to RDR 1 in a conversation between Abigail and John she reveals John saw that the whole gang was a lie and wanted to bail before things got worse but the whole robbery went wrong and the gang left him for dead(probably because they thought John was a traitor)

They would never do that,any Rockstar game going to switch is also getting a PS4 version,just like the L.A Noire Remaster

They should pull a Kamikaze like Eminem, and just drop a badass trailer at midnight thats so good it obliterates the gaming industry.

Battlefield 5 open beta starts tomorrow as well, and COD battle royal beta starts next Tuesday , so between them dropping the bomb on the competition tomorrow , and still wanting to get their next gameplay video out before CODs attention next week, I think we will see something tomorrow imo

Well there still could be a possibility for the trailer to come out today. R* don't have to tease it in a newswire post because they already did tease it 4 weeks ago in the first gameplay trailer. But I would like to know what happened the last time we had a situation like this. The last time this happened, they teased the GTA ONLINE trailer in GTA V's gameplay trailer. Does anyone know if they had a newswire post teasing the online trailer?

I've been thinking about possible ways this game could end, and the fact that both GTA IV and V had alternate endings has me thinking.  I could definitely see RDR2 having multiple endings, depending on player choice and they've made a big point so far that player choice is a big deal.   If they were to go that route, I have a theory.  Both Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption ended in a duel.  It'd only be right for RDR2 to end in one also, and people have already been speculating that it will be between John and Arthur.  And if it really does come down to this, I could see it playing out in 2 ways only.  Either you(Arthur) decide to pull your gun and John shoots you dead, handing player control over to John, or you have the option to keep it holstered and walk away, leaving you to continue the game as Arthur.  I feel like this would be in the same vein as how V ended in an attempt to satisfy everyone.

Hell, maybe if Arthur survives they'll even introduce the character switching feature and have John building up his ranch in Beecher's Hope and still let you play as Arthur with the gang camp stuff

RDR's code is a mess so a port will probably never happen. GTA IV lost a huge amount of the soundtrack not long ago. MP3... not sure, but just play it on PC.

I wonder if this along with the "One dollar poker" we saw in the Gameplay Trailer confirms that the amount of money we will have in this game will be toned down to have it historically accurate. If this happens i don't mind as in V i found it very ridiculous that i could walk around with almost endless amounts of money in my wallet/bank account.

This gif had me thinking. What if we can play Russian roulette against other NPCs? How it could work: The NPC hands you the gun, hold R2 to turn the gun sideways, L2 to take out the cylinder and L1 to insert bullet. Then R1 to insert the cylinder back again at original position and whilst still holding down R1 Arthur will point the gun to his head and we'll get a shot of his face doing a couple of anxious expressions, finally R2 will fire the gun and decide if you survive the round or LOSE. If Arthur wins he gets the other guys's stuff. If the other guy wins he takes yo' sh*t.
