I like how John is looking away. Everyone else is looking ahead at what is in front of them. But John is either looking for an escape or is seeing what is going to 'blindside' the gang. He has a apprehensive look about himself, as if he is about to run.

You mean like they did for the PS4 box art beneath Beardy Arthur?

Micah, Lenny, Javier, Arthur, Dutch, Charles, Sadie.

Add that to the box art you've got of John, Javier, Dutch, Arthur, Bill, Micah, and Charles.

Now your "Magnificent Seven" has become a "Noteworthy Nine."    That's why it's silly to even try to find a "core" gang, since THAT is most likely going to be determined by each individual player who they want to work with the most.

honestly I think it is. hands on preview week next week, posters for promo inbetween, gameplay tomorrow morning, its how i saw this playing out all along tbh. never lost faith when there was nothin this morning, i still felt something would happen today and it did 'Now we're gonna "borrow" a little money from old Uncle Sam, then be out of his hair.. Friendly reminder that Rockstar haven't shadow dropped a trailer in a long, long time. They've always announced them.

 

aka don't get ya selves too hyped up cause ya might be disappointed

 

I think an announcement and a release on the weekend ahead of the hands on previews next week is more likely.

Having to investigate the area and interact with NPC's to find bounties would be cool, the stumbling block I imagine is devs being sh*t scared of making players put that sort of work in. I think it's one of those things where a good developer needs to pull it off and make everyone else go "oh, people actually do like that stuff".

i hope to see it this way!! very innovative and immersive. I think the GTAO treasure hunt is a good idea of what to expect with some L.A Noire type investigation going on (yes pls!!) gonna be awesome!! oh and I remember one time hearing from the housers or Rob Nelson that with RDR2 they are aiming to take all the best things they learned from their games and expand on that. seems to be playin out that way too! ive theorized ever since that interview, that RDR2 will be a mix of elements of RDR (duh on that one) L.A Noire,  (investigation\in depth treasure hunts) Max Payne 3, (killcams\seamless cutscenes) Bully, (expanded interaction but more in depth for RDR2) and maybe GTA sandbox things like eating and picking things up. gonna be the most epic game ever i swear
