It was about the same if not longer between for the RDR and Max Payne 3 gameplay series. So about the norm for Rockstar.

We should be counting our lucky stars that we're going to get two gameplaye trailers, GTA V only got the one. :lol:

I mean, R*s marketing has been almost identical for RDR2 as it was for GTAV in terms of the timing of when it released trailers, so not really true.

They didn’t have a second gameplay video for V, so impossible to say now. But it hasn’t been random, is all I’m saying. Sorry it wasn’t meant to sound as argumentative as it did.

Sep 11-13 (Gameplay #2)

3 weeks

Oct 2-4 (Online)

2 weeks

Oct 16-18 (Trailer)

1 week

Oct 26 (Release!)

The 3-2-1 system... 3 weeks after gameplay #2 comes the online trailer, 2 weeks after that comes the Launch trailer and 1 week after that launches the game. In between they'll have press articles and advertisements.

About 1 and a half month to go. So why should R* release the 2. Gameplaytrailer now? There is enough time in October to pull out the next/last 2 trailers. Maybe just one bevore release and the onlinething afterwards. Nearly all of us will be or already are 100% customers of RDR2. And we won't change our need for the game because of not getting enough trailer content right now. 🤪😋

 

It makes more sense to push the big info button closer to release to get these people who don't care about games in a "far" future.

Because they don't use a weighting system for different reviews

 

Imagine if my opinion is worth 100% and yours is only worth 70%. That's what Metacritic does.

There's always chance but I think they monitor this site to make sure they don't release anything when we think they will.

If that was true they would have just released something on any other day then Tuesday and Thursday. That would've caught a lot of people here with their pants down.
